We used to go here, but after a few times getting slow, inaccurate, service and food that was just satisfactory, we decided no longer decide to go here for the money we spend. Some waitresses were nice, but some waiters could not understand what we wanted and messed up order and I had to wait even longer to eat, while my family had to wait on me to eat. I am only giving the stars for service and cleanliness as the food was not authentic or good. I may have ordered the wrong things as the fish tacos were deep fried which should NeVER happen with Mahi Mahi and the slaw was over dressed. The refied beans were extremely runny and salty which was interesting as the salt was missing from the salsa or chips which left the chips and salsa extremely bland. There should be a pinch of salt in the salsa if you are doing salt free chips to get the flavor of the vegetables to pop. The house Margarita tasted like the cheap Margarita mix that you can get at your local grocery store with Tequila added. If you are looking for an authentic experience or at least tasty. This is not the spot to be adventurous. Maybe regular tacos will hit the spot? read more

We get the carne asada tacos religiously, so good. They are very accommodating of my partners allergies and we have never had an issue. One of the few places we can order from as a couple that doesn't cost more than 40 something dollars. The staff is so friendly which we really appreciate. Don't. I was overcharged by 4 dollars from their menu for an order of fajitas. Same order, I only got 3 tiny tortillas ( had gotten 8 the last time I ordered from there). I had high hopes for this location, but I wasn't overall impressed. The salsa was meh and had an underlying taste I couldn't get past. The queso was bland and super runny. I had the enchilada rancheros trio as that chicken mix didn't come premixed with onions. The shells were the authentic Mexican corn tortillas for those of you that love them. Overall decent. The decor, murals and artwork are all neat and set up a fun vibe. The service and food leave a lot to be desired. The restaurant wasn't very busy but the server was inattentive and forgetful. Two items were forgotten for two different dishes. I understand some communication might have been lost between the server and the kitchen. The food was served lukewarm. It's almost like a mom and pop restaurant decided to have a Mexican night. The taco salad arrived with a bay leaf - which should not be eaten- sticking out from beneath the chicken. The tomato was not ripe and hard. The kid's enchilada was barely fried and just mediocre. The enchilada sauce tasted like it was from a can. The kids arroz con pollo was probably the best dish out of the four our table ordered. The spartan burrito was edible but again not that great and nothing we will rush back for. Due to the inattentive service, even though she was nice, it took incredibly long to get our check. The woman's bathroom needed attention. The sink area was sopping wet and dripping on the floor. The changing table is broken and bent making it so a child could easily roll off. There are plenty of WAY BETTER Mexican restaurants in the area. I suggest La Esquina, Ixcanul, The Crazy Cowboy or even Taco Bell. Skip Acapulco if you want good food for your money and to hear your table mates conversation. The music was incredibly loud. We will not return or recommend this restaurant. Too bad as we enjoy supporting local small businesses. read more

Service was ok. Margarita was terrible. Think they are using the same bottle of tequila since they opened. Taco Bell has them beat on food. Payed $15 for a burrito that was the size of an enchilada. My wife had a chicken quesadilla that looked like it was made with cat food. Won't be going back. read more

Worst Mexican food I've ever had. Ordered a top shelf marg and it was nothing but mix. The servers English was so bad I had to show him pictures of what we wanted. Husband ordered ground beef Chimichanga not what he got. I ordered fajitas. No sizzle just cold and limp shrimp and meat on the plate. Tortillas were hard on the bottom like they had been sitting in the warmer a long time. Do not recommend if you've ever had good Mexican food, don't waste your time, very disappointing. read more

I went here with my mom and it was fantastic! We were immediately greeted and welcomed after walking in. The host was seating another party, and three employees walked by. All of them made eye contact, welcomed us, and said someone would be with us shortly. Their salsa is pretty good, but we loved the street corn. I'm used to street corn (elote) being served on the cob, and this was in a bowl. We also tried the chile relleno bites. I enjoyed them because I like spice and heat. Our server was awesome! She was attentive, answered all of our questions, provided recommendations, and was happy to modify some items for me. Example: I like jalapeño margaritas with a lot of heat. She mentioned theirs doesn't have much of a kick, but she was able to make one for me that had some bite. Much appreciated! I look forward to visiting again when I'm in town. It's about time Jackson had a Mexican restaurant with some authentic dishes and great service. Their portions are large, so come hungry, split a meal, or prepare for leftovers haha read more

Ambiance and decor were very nice! The service was good overall but I was disappointed that my server didn't seem to be concerned when I told him my House Margarita was not very good (not very flavorful and really weak in alcohol content)! He responded that they draw it out of an ice machine and the one on the Rocks is better! Might have been a good thing to share when he asked me what type of Margarita I would like!‍ The food was very good! Hot and plentiful! I ordered two meals to go. The Manager was more than rude. He told me I didn't know how to order food when all I wanted was a plain beef burrito. Apparently you have to have a menu in front of you to order... Even from home. Because if you don't order it exactly the way the menu is they can't make it. I've never experienced such service like this. Especially from someone that called himself a manager. And after they made me feel the way I did my burrito wasn't anything like I wanted.
