The experience I had today really lived up to my expectations! My wax was with Molly (after I booked online without specifying anyone), who I found to be kind, professional, and engaging. It really felt like I was hanging out with a friend during my brazilian wax. Molly did an excellent job of putting me at ease and managing my pain expectations, having me inhale and exhale during the more painful portions. I'd never experienced the hard wax she uses before, and found it less painful than the traditional soft wax. The pain fades more quickly and has less of a sting as well. I made sure to book my next appointment when I checked out. Molly and I discussed waxing timelines based on my skin sensitivity level and hair type and she clearly wanted what was best and most effective for me. I highly recommend Molly's Wax Shop and Molly specifically, but from the other reviews it sounds like Arianna is just as talented! Either way you really can't go wrong.

She essentially calmed me down. Which was awesome. The wax shop is very inviting and quaint, I didn't feel like I was in chain establishment in a sense it felt like home. She was very nice. The room she does her waxing in is spacious but not intimidating. It was very clean and well organized which I loved. She explained everything that she would be doing from beginning to end our conversation was easy and helpful, she help me get through the pain .....FYI I'm a screamer lol! It was very thorough and Kathleen was professional and very kind throughout the whole experience. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. She does a microcurrent facial and I believe it lasted about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, my skin was calm and glowing! When I got home the first night, my entire occular area began burning. i believe the company changed the eyebrow tint. It definitely was NO the same dye that had been used during my previous visits. I wrote all of this up and the manager tried to contact me once. I sent him two more emails and 11 days later, the skin around my eyes and eyebrows is still burning. I think all of the staff are very capable, especially Andrea; however, I would not get my eyebrows tinted there ever again!

These are individual franchises and this one is awful. The owner could care less what happened, was rude and condescending. I posted on Nextdoor and found others who were injured at this location. Don't go to this one under any circumstances. My daughter tried European Wax Center today and said it was the best she's ever had. This franchise is a dangerous place with an evil owner. I'm filing a law suit, making complaints to every agency in Raleigh possible.
