I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? Long story short, certain remedies work for some people's types of balding and certain remedies don't work for other people's types of balding. He gave me steroid injections and topical steroid medicine to use when I didn't even need it. How I know is I got a second opinion from another doctor who was more an academic than Dr. Kleinberg. Then after getting the consultation from the second doctor I did my own research and found that I indeed did not need the steroid remedies he gave me since I did not have typical male pattern balding (androgenic alopecia).
