I recently went for a procedure and didn't find the nurse who came into the room friendly or helpful at all. Once the doctor was done, she said to wait and the nurse would come to check in on me. She never did and when I went to walk out, the nurse gave me a weird look, almost annoyed I was still there. I asked if I'm good to go and she shrugged and said, "I guess so." I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." She then proceeded to say, "That's $400 up front" (I was getting a cosmetic procedure.) LOL as if I didn't know what I needed to pay? Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? There was no care, helpfulness, a genuine smile, patient service or kindness from her. And that's uncommon, as all the staff here is usually very nice, polite, and friendly. Maybe she was just having an off morning. But still, I don't think that's a proper justification. The doctor (afterwards, I saw her in passing and mentioned that the nurse didn't come in to check on me / let me know I'm good to leave) did say they were a bit short staffed that morning.

I trust and appreciate Dr. Zang's treatment! Due to rheumatoid xerosis and skin allergies, dry skin is prone to large rashes and changes. In the past ten years, my skin has been carefully treated and maintained by Dr. Zang, but it has improved with age and xerosis. A wart occurred on the breast many years ago, and it is getting bigger day by day. It was surgically removed by other doctors. Less than a year later, the same one occurred at the same place. After Dr. Zang removed it, there has been no recurrence so far, and the scar has long since disappeared. A few years ago, there was a lipoma on the root of the thigh, which was red, swollen, inflamed and painful. After the operation, he recovered quickly. Because her clinic moved to Flushing, I seldom go there. Recently, lipomas occurred in different parts of the thigh, which could not be resolved with anti-inflammatory drugs, so I went to Dr. Zang for treatment. It was almost lunch break when I arrived at the clinic. After the inspection, Dr. Zang still decided to perform an immediate surgical resection. During the operation, She carefully resected and sutured, cared for almost no pain, and took care of postoperative medication to restore all joints. The staff in the clinic are rigorous in their work and treat others with kindness. The clinic is clean and the items in the treatment room are in order. I am old and sick, but when I met Dr. Zang, a doctor with high medical skills and ethics, my heart is full of warmth and gratitude. Jun Zhou New York

I've personally recommended countless people to his office. His staff is great, and polite. He really takes care of you, and touches you.....not in a creepy Bill Cosby way, but in a concerned doctor way .....ummm Allow me to explain myself. I have gone to dermatologists and doctors that won't touch you at all, let alone go near you. if you say; "doctor, I have this thing that started growing...." They just look at you and get skeeved out. This doctor does not. He gives a crap, he is always concerned about your health and well being. As a doctor should be. I mean for crying out loud, after a year of going to see him, my skin, hair and nails improved dramatically. I have seen him do miraculous things. Aside of being a product of his own work by fooling me into thinking he is just shy of 30, when he could be my grandfather! My jaw dropped. They do everything here you can think of. I am one happy patient. They just get very , very busy. so as much as I believe they accept walk-ins, if you do not have an appointment, depending on the day, you could be waiting a while.

Long story short, certain remedies work for some people's types of balding and certain remedies don't work for other people's types of balding. He gave me steroid injections and topical steroid medicine to use when I didn't even need it. How I know is I got a second opinion from another doctor who was more an academic than Dr. Kleinberg. Then after getting the consultation from the second doctor I did my own research and found that I indeed did not need the steroid remedies he gave me since I did not have typical male pattern balding (androgenic alopecia). It was just my hairline balding. On top of that these useless remedies were giving me acne. When I left the appointment with the second doctor, he had himself a pitiful laugh his with his staff when I was on my way out the door after seeing him, explaining to his staff that another doctor gave me steroid injections for my hair when I didn't even need it. Super embarrassing because not only did I not need it, they sent me a medical bill for these "injections", and on each appointment they charged me for "medical examination" which did not even happen each appointment I had. If you want to run a business, fine. But if you are going to charge common people for every single dollar you can on your job then at least do the work correctly. They even had the audacity to send me many of those bills in the mail saying I owed them money for the unnecessary "injections" and the imaginary "medically exams" on top of my already expensive copay. Each bill increasing due to interest. You guys are never getting that money you billed me on top of the copay. The copay already cost hundreds. You owe me it if anything. Last thing I'll say is I work as a pharmacist which means I actually have a degree of health literacy. I can't be the only one that got taken advantage of if that's the case. Only difference is you've taken advantage of the people not as literate in this field, but that isn't their job or their responsibility, and that is why they came to you. Scammers!

It is undeniable that every esthetician on this team (including the one I had the negative experience with) is exceptional at giving facials. And, overtime, the positive experiences have accumulated and outweighed the negative one. Recently, I had a skin analysis with Sandra herself. She was detailed, patient, and answered every single one of my (many) questions.
