The Denver Post Classifieds department is not about helping sell for the client.
I have ran two ads with Negative Results.
The Post does have people on Staff the calls you and pretends to be responding to your ad.
They are easy to spot because it happens immediate, after your ad is public on the net, they also ask very Dumb Questions...!
I wanted to sell some Wood Stoves, so the lady buried my ad in Services, under Fireplaces.
When I ask for a Header that said, "Wood Stoves" of course this was not possible. She talked right past my request.
Given this scenario, The Denver Post would place an Airplane for sale in the Pick-up Truck section.
Suggesting that I publish my Web Site, which by the way needed to be enhanced by the Denver Post Nerd Patrol, as it has a number of things that should be changed.
I could see another Fee Coming ....MORE MONEY!

Wood Burning Stoves Triple Wall Pipe, Magic Heat Extractor. 719-821-4087
This ad cost $53.00 dollars for twenty some days. Again I had only one call, therefore I assure that it never was in the PRINTED EDITIONS ,
I ask about a Real Estate Classified, well that would cost $75.00 , it would be put in a "Special Edition" then she eluded to "Digital Something" like it was the White Knight on the Tennessee Stud of the advertising world.
She would get back to me , within the hour , on that one...HA...
My phone awaits....
Just what I did not want, more of the same , that will not work.
When I run ads in American Classifieds I get calls every week , with out fail.
Go on line and look at the Denver Post Classifieds, count them. Some sections are blank.
Given the Sales Hype , the Denver Post Should be full of ads, listing everything under the Sun.
They are loaded with "Power Ads" selling Real Estate in UTAH.... What I do not see is Colorado Classifieds for Colorado Real People selling their Homes.
How many million readers....? Well a hundred thousand here, and a couple of thousand over there.. so the HYPE Goes.
I called to complain , the man with a Heavy Middle Eastern Accent , assured me my money would be refunded, but it would take 8 to 10 days.
They took my payment over the net, it was deducted from my account immediately.
Now I am on a ONEWAY street, so I have to wait for money that will never be returned.
Denver Post you have made me a disbeliever.
