They play the same 'ole music all the time. Nothing great like ELO or April Wine. Nope. Same stuff over and over every day.

Almost as bad as 103.5 the fox. They repeat songs more than once a day and they got rid of their "2 minute promise" with commercials too.

Ok so I don't really listen to radio anymore but pandora and my favorite songs on my iPod. I had to…read morewrite this review so no one misses the yearly event sponsored by Alice 105.9 AuNaturAlice show at the Soiled Dove. Last night was the 10th year for AuNaturAlice show and I had never heard about until about two weeks ago when I found out the event was sold out. Duh- I don't listen to Alice 105.9. I heard a song on Itunes by Vicci Martinez "Come Along with Me" I started listening to her on Pandora and loved her music and voice. I liked her page on facebook and wrote how much I loved her music and please come to Denver. Turns out she wrote me back and said I will be in Denver on April 11th. Not only was Vicci Martinez performing but Keaton Simons, Matt Hires and Life House. Wow what a show so I knew I had to go. The event was sold out and I tried to get tickets everywhere, Ebay, CraigsList, StubHub, and various ticket agencies. I was like a stalker liking every performers page on FB asking for tickets for sale. I posted an ad in Craigs List for tickets wanted and a couple couldn't find a babysitter. My lucky day had arrived two days before the show and in a snowstorm I drove to Denver to get the prized tickets. These are prized tickets as once this show sells out people hold on to them. No one was selling tickets out side the venue prior to the show. I had to write this review because this AuNaturAlice event should not be missed! I want to go every year as I was impressed with the performers an the Soiled Dove as a venue. Tip- Buy your tickets as soon as they go on sale! I loved this show - thanks Alice 105.9 maybe I will listen to you on the radio sometime.

After today I will never listen to their show again. The topics they discuss are honestly getting…read moreridiculous and disgusting. Talking about relations with your dog if they were humans? Weird af.

I have been a regular listener to KOA for most of my adult life, and one of the highlights in…read morerecent years has been the talk shows hosted by Dave Logan. Not only has he been a fun and entertaining talk show host, and now the outstanding voice of the Denver Broncos; he has also brought a measure of credibility to the community as a head coach for several different high school football programs. Somehow Dave always seemed to be on the right side of good, old fashioned, common sense - blended with a great sense of humor, class and decency......................that is until the launch of the Lewis and Logan show with Kathy Lee! What in the world happened to run such a great role model for our kids and community off into the gutter of slime and perversion that literally dominates every one of their shows? I'm no prude, but this has become so disgusting and embarrassing that I can't even have it on the radio with my wife of 46 years in the car, let alone my 17 year-old grandson. Come on Dave, and come on KOA management; let's keep the bar high and leave the garbage to Howard Stern and the dark side of our society. You're better than that!

Too many commercials and not enough news. I'm sad that Marty Lenz was let go and the remaining…read moremorning newscaster seems more suited for a much younger audience. Community. Culture. Music. This Denver radio station is a…read moregreat place to catch some cool jazz! There's not a lot of pure jazz stations out there, but this is one of them. They broadcast along with a National Public Radio station to bring news tidbits and some syndicated shows in with their regular programming of mostly jazz. I haven't found that their jazz goes too far off into the 'deep end' of jazz, where you have to listen to the notes that they're NOT playing, or stuff that takes you to another dimension are more of a rarity on this station. Sometimes in the evening, they switch over to rap, hip hop, or protest music- check their lineup on their online schedule. I always appreciate listening to this over my smart speakers or over TuneIn. I think they have their own app, and you can even tune in on their website and get more info about the songs being played instead of having to call up the DJ and ask them what song that was while trying to get on the air. My fav DJ, Dave Schwan knows his music and always has a few extra tidbits of information about the artists or the song, and always sounds so enthusiastic about the songs. Since the station is on the 'left side of the dial', with a low frequency number, they don't have to play advertisements, and instead have more like kinda public service announcements about general things like not driving into flood waters or remember to save for retirement.

I've been around since the inception of KUVO, (when they were broadcasting from the Morrison Radio…read moreStudio) and it has been the "Jewell" of the Rocky Mountain area. My radio dials never have moved since. Although lately there has been some movement on the hosts, and the morning shows are reminiscent of the "AM" radio stations.
