My neighbor Doug, an Air Force and Army Veteran, was listening to Kool 105.1 when you talked about the Hope Cycle Veterans event. He called me up about it and we landed on a Trek perfect for him at Hope Cycle. He loves the bike! Thank you so much! Thank you Kool 105 for encouraging Dixon. You all have made a difference in 100 Veteran's lives.

Listened to Kool105 for about 9 yrs... the Winston and Mel morning show was hilarious, they had…read moretrue chemistry and they STILL have a faithful following and do appearances for their fans. They both uprooted their lives in California and became an important part of the Mile High community and strived for a family friendly show. What Kool105 did to them was horrendous. Now they have lame Dom and Melissa in the morning and they are vulgar and the show appears to be tanking... and Dommie boy doesn't even live in the Denver market area. I still want to know how Winston and Mel were still getting bonuses and awards after they were fired? Something is fishy... But hey Kool105, you made your bed... how's those ratings now? And btw Kool105, THIS is what karma looks like.

This is one of the Publications with a circulation of 5000 copies throughout the Far Northeast…read moreCorridor. It covers Montbello, Green Valley Ranch, Parkfield, Gateway and DIA Neighborhoods. Sometimes inside the publication, they include FNN Membership Application, Far Northeast Neighbors, Inc. For Individual Membership, this will cost you $10, while for Business, the range was between $35 to $100. Unfortunately, they do not specify whether this membership cost cover 1 year or more or even a lifetime... *Sigh* From Community News, President's Page, Thoughts For The Month, Issues Of Interest, Poetry, School News among other things, this publication is an A-Okay read. I found Greater Far Northeast Reporter Publication, at Safeway recently. @160/2013

I'm not quite sure how I feel about The Colorado Dog Magazine. As a local pet sitter, I was…read morecurious, delighted, and eager to purchase a copy of the magazine. According to their media kit, this quarterly publication has a readership of mostly upper-class woman who spoil their dogs by showering them with gifts, special treats, pet sitters, dog walkers, and the like. (Perfectly fine by me, for what it's worth!) However, although the winter copy of the magazine covered many important subjects (preparing your dog for winter months; an experience at a specific Denver doggy day care; pet food and other products made in the USA; care for elderly pets; etc.), I found the articles bland and uninspiring - I've actually considered writing an article to send to Colorado Dog Magazine myself. The magazine has a professional presentation and is printed with very high-quality paper and ink, but I'd like to see a more sophisticated writing level - surely these women are wise enough to comprehend articles written with a bit more skill and literal embellishment. I'll probably pick up the Spring issue to give the magazine a second chance, then review a second time with more than one experience under my belt :)

Mile High Sports Magazine gets it right when it comes to covering sports in the Denver metro area…read moreas well as the entire state. What I like is they're not likely to stick to just the main sports, they cover just about everything, even high school sports, soccer, indoor lacrosse, and even the athletic programs at smaller colleges and universities like Metro State. I always look forward to every issue especially their annual Snow Angels issue. It's too bad their efforts and triumphs with the magazine don't transfer over to their radio station on 1510 am. If it weren't for the fact that Kroenke Sports didnt have his teams games all broadcast on 1510 am, there wouldn't be a reason to listen to Mile High Sports Radio. The daily lineup of talking sports heads is highly overrated and some of them are truly full of themselves. I applaud Mile High Sports for trying to mark their mark on the Denver airwaves, but let's stick to what you do best and that's the magazine itself.
