ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I will recommend everyone in the dfw area to go to The Dentist on Skillman. The office is beautiful and super modern. The staff are wonderful. They are so nice and personable. My dental hygienist, Jessica, was the definition of a perfect dentist hygienist. I usually dread going to the dentist but I can't wait to go back in 6 months. I had a great first time customer experience. 10/10 Life long customer! read more

Dr. Wong is wonderful and would highly recommend going to him. Got 2 cavities on the upper left and right and had absolutely no pain! Each cavity was done in 15 minutes and the staff were great. Been going to Dr. Wong for 2 years and this is the first time I had treatment with him - point being he is VERY conservative and you don't have to worry about him over diagnosing. Overall would highly recommend going here if you live close by and are looking for a dentist! Thank you Dr. Wong and staff! read more

Dr Wong is the dude,, staff is amazing... nice clean environment. i highly recommend!!!

Dr Wong is awesome! In moving to Dallas 4 years ago, I had seen another dentist but felt like a number and while their office was fancy and down the street from my house I felt their was constantly an up sell with them. In switching to Dr Wong I've had several crowns replaced, cavities filled, a night guard made and an implant all while feeling that I was in great hands with full transparency with pricing. Even his referrals have been stellar as I've needed both an endodontist and periodontist. If you're looking for a new dentist this is the place! read more

I have been here in Texas now for 9 months. Here visiting my daughter and her family, doing a little babysitting. Doing the grandpa thing, Leaving in 5 days, going back to the smokie mountains ( North Carolina ) ... Up in the mountains you do not have a big choice of medical providers. With that said I had a knee replacement and dental appt while I was here. Texas has the best medical I have ever encountered. I looked at reviews and drove 45 minutes to this office. I was shown x-rays on what my last dentist missed below the gum line 7 months before. Knowing build up under the gum line is a recipe for gum disease. I opted for a deep clean. Jessica the hygienist was fantastic. The deep cleaning isn't the most pleasant thing in the world, but given a choice of deep cleaning or gum disease. Ill take the cleaning. Jessica is really good and the dentist came in to double check the treatment. If your looking for a dentist put this office on the radar. read more

There is a reason that they have 5 stars. The best dentist that I've ever been to. And that is the actual truth. Read my other reviews. You know my standards. I don't tolerate bs. This was an incredible experience. Highly highly recommended. read more

I just saw Dr. Larry Wong @ The Dentist On Skillman, https://www.thedentistonskillman.com Needless to say that both Dr. Wong and his whole staff have that zen disposition down. Their calm and positive vibe keeps it such a nice and peaceful environment to come to...and they're SUPER QUICK! Everyone there are always so pleasant and have been nothing but accommodating to me and my family. My children have also never been calmer with any other dentist....I swear I've never seen them behave like this in any situation. (could also be the huge screen TVs on the ceiling with almost every station you can imagine too) but I swear my son never lets anyone near his mouth without a fight and with Dr. Wong it's not an issue. Now If only Dr. Wong can please come over every morning and evening to brush his teeth for us that would be a bonus . read more

I went as a new patient after my dentist retired. They were very nice and the office was peaceful. They did not over-book, so parking was convenient. The cleaning was gentle (that's very important to me) , and Dr Wong touched up a few areas of concern for me. I'll definitely be back! read more

It was my first time seeing Dr. Wong. The facility was clean and the receptionist was very friendly. I came into the office for tooth/jaw pain. Dr. Wong was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in detail. He was very thorough in accessing my tooth pain and giving great recommendations! Dr. Wong is very professional and I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a dentist! read more

Absolute class act from start to finish. Beautiful office, every single employee friendly and professional. Dentist was kind, intuitive, gentle, explained everything, made me feel good about myself, great pricing options. Wonderful experience. read more

I want to start by saying that the staff is awesome from Dr.Wong to Cristianna. I was referred by my brother and my experienced has been nothing but great every time. It's a great place to to go, when you know you'll trust your dentist at all times and not worried about adding unnecessary cost! read more

Dr. Wong was excellent. Fantastic work, friendly and professional; however, dealing with their insurance/billing personnel was a complete nightmare! The absolute WORST experience I've ever had in dealing with a medical office in my entire life. My extremely poor experience with their billing/insurance staff has left a really unfavorable impression of this office and for that reason, I will never return back as a patient ever again. read more

I came here for the first time recently for a cleaning. I saw Dr. Wong and would highly recommend him! He did my entire cleaning himself (usually handled by a dental hygienist, in my experiences). He also went out of his way to do a filling during the same appointment so that I wouldn't have to come back in. Awesome doctor and great employees all around! read more

I'm relatively new to Dallas and had not been to the dentist in a very long time. Consequently, when I went looking for a dentist here in town, I had a lot of questions and wasn't sure where to start. After lots of research, I chose to try The Dentist on Skillman, and I really couldn't be happier. When I called to make my appointment, it was easy, and they were flexible with my schedule. The staff answered all of my questions before I made my appointment, so I felt well informed when I got there. Dr. Wong was kind, thorough, and informative. There was no judgment about the length of time since my last visit or some of the stains on my teeth. He advised the treatment plans were available to me without forcing anything. The office is modern and inviting, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and Dr. Wong is excellent. read more

This is hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. First of all, I've had a major fear of the dentist since I was a kid, but Dr. Wong and his staff are incredible and have alleviated my life long fear. Even having a root canal and wisdom tooth removal wasn't that bad with them. The doctor is very caring and patient and tells you every step of the way what he's doing and explains the process. The facilities are modern and incredibly clean and there's a television in the ceiling that you can watch while you have your work done. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Best dentist I've ever seen. No pain at all while getting an emergency filling out in. Found my new dentist in DTX.

Literally the only dentist I've ever seen my whole life that I don't dread going to! Everyone in this office is great. I love that on their initial questionnaire they ask if you have any anxiety around dental work - I've never had any dentist ask that before, but it was so comforting. Dr. Wong is so helpful & happily answered all my questions thoroughly, even explaining the tools he was using and why. The whole office is very clean & modern - they have little tv's that you can watch while work is being performed. Would recommend 1000x over. read more

Dr. Wong and his staff are amazing. I had six fillings and a extraction done. Dr. Wong made sure I felt no pain and explained the process throughout the appointment. It can be seen through him and the staff that they care for their patients. The facility is always clean and modern. After the appointment Dr. Wong follows you out and provides instructions for after care. I am happy I found the right dentist for me. I highly recommend the dentist on Skillman. read more

Dr Wong is by far the best and most reliable dentist. Staff is A1 , everything is sparkling clean (thumbs up), new (two thumbs up), and Netflix while you have your teeth done (three thumbs). Will come again, which is every 6 months to get my teeth cleaned. read more

My follow-up appointment for cleaning and a crown: again, top notch professional friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. If this isn't your Dentist you should really re-evaluate your dental needs. Dentist and staff are just awesome!!! read more

There's a new dentist in town and he's wonderful. I'm new to Dallas and visiting the dentist was something I had been putting off. I had been visiting the same dentist for over 15 years in my home state and was really wary of having to start going to a new place but boy am I glad I found the Dentist on Skillman! The office is new and beautifully designed and the office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Wong has a warm personality and makes his patients feel at ease in his chair. I used to be a dental assistant and could tell that this place was a great choice for my next dentist. They have some great specials as they get set up. Don't wonder anymore about whether or not to check them out, just call and go! read more

I had a great experience today with Dr. Wong. I've had a cracked wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled and I thought I was just going in for a regular cleaning but he took care of it instantly along with cleaning my teeth and filling a cavity all in just an hour. He was very informative, straight forward, and gave me plenty of options as far as how I could take care of my situation. They have a great team here, I highly recommend them! read more

Dr. Wong and his team are incredible. Like a lot of people, I have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and have had really bad experiences before. However Dr. Wong was patient with me, talked through my options, and most of all, he was kind. I can tell that he truly cares about his patients. His staff is great too. I'd highly recommend him and am grateful I I went to him over other dentists. Thanks Dr. Wong (and team)! read more

Dr. Wong and his staff are the most compassionate, caring and professional group I've ever experienced. When I first came in, I had no idea what extensive work needed to be done. They made every effort to get me in as soon as possible prior to my original appointment because I expressed that I had some pain. They made sure to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my part might be as well as thoroughly explaining the insurance breakdown. I (and I'm sure Dr. Wong) assumed it might be a typical visit with maybe a small repair. It ended up being 3 hours but they stuck by me every step of the way. He ultimately decided I would be more comfortable taking an antibiotic over the weekend, to better allow the anesthesia to work to ease the pain. Then followed up immediately Monday morning and sure enough, it was a success. Not only is the service impeccable but the office is so amazing. The lobby allows for children to enjoy themselves should they have to accompany and they have flat screens above the chairs so you can watch your choice of show/documentary. I chose Planet Earth and it was so relaxing considering the circumstance. The Dr. let me know exactly what he was doing, each step along the way. I could not have chosen a better dentist to visit. Should we have to move anytime, I'm sure I would travel back here for any dental needs. read more

Dr. Wong is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. He is easy to talk to, follows up on you, explains things thoroughly and is very accommodating. I could not have asked for a better experience. read more

A wholesome Dentistry with that perfect Lakewood vibe you would expect! I was referred to Dr. Wong from a friend and have been extremely pleased with my visits. Walking in, I am greeted and instructed by the friendly staff. The waiting room has a modern finish with comfy seating and toys for the kiddos. I usually set appointments for my visits so I rarely have to sit and wait. Even my first walk-in was a breeze. Being seen was also just as painless. Knowledgeable staff that answers questions professionally, quick but not a rushed process, and then you're greeted by Dr. Wong himself. Right off the bat he is polite and welcoming, then he gets right to it by offering solutions to the problems I had, and then the options I am faced with. By no means did I feel pressured to make a decision, he gave me his professional advice and then we discussed the best approach. Throughout my procedure he would check in and ask how I was feeling, any pain? Nope. By the time I knew it he was done and I was being debriefed. Dr. Wong and the staff answered any questions I had and made sure I was taken care of before leaving. Overall great experience! I would definitely recommend "The Dentist on Skillman" to my friends and family! read more

Absolutely recommend Dr. Wong and his wonderful staff! I'd lived out of state for a couple of years and upon return found that my previous dentist had moved. Was lucky to discover The Dentist on Skillman. The office is sparkling new and conveniently located. Dr. Wong and staff are warm and welcoming and clearly very knowledgeable/talented. I explained that I wanted to rediscover my smile and Dr. Wong has provided a plan of action that works perfectly for me. Bonding for now, crowns for later. (Front teeth look AWESOME!) My family and I had been going to a franchise dentist for years - we were never really happy with them as they consistently up-sold us, overcharged and did unnecessary work....bit of a nightmare really. So, I am happy to say that Dr. Wong does NONE of those things! He is just a really great dentist - kind, smart and knows what he's doing with you teeth; from basic health to cosmetic stuff. His office is lovely, modern and clean. And his staff are absolutely delightful - warm and welcoming, and ready to help with whatever you need. I can comfortably say this is the best dentist I have ever seen. Dr Wong explains everything and makes sure you are happy with what is being done and understand the cost/insurance issues. I have taken my 10 year old as well, and she was happy and comfortable there too. Don't stick with a dentist you are not happy with: a dentist who genuinely cares makes a huge difference and you can trust Dr. Wong and his assistants to look after you. read more
