I went to Dr. Sunners to have my crown put on last week. I was sitting on the dental chair, and…read morethe chair was put in the flat position. To my surprise, Dr. Sunners then asked his assistant to help putting in the crown. I was lying down flat on the dental chair, and the assistant was holding a metal tool with my mouth wide open. The nightmare began. The metal tool that the assistant was holding slipped straight down to my throat. I was horrified. I was fortunate that I could cough out the tool to avoid a disaster in the E.R.. When I texted Dr. Sunners the day after letting him know what a horrific experience I had, he responded lightly and responded that his assistant was very competent instead of apologizing to me. That is a very unforgiving incident. I will never go there again.

And when I first joined they were willing to work with me on a dental plan that works for me. Now it is aggressive treatment and pressure sells that requires X-rays every 6 months and deep cleanings. If you don't like it, I was told by the front desk to GET OUT. Ok you got your wish, good riddance.

I needed a dental implant ASAP. Denise spent two hours on the phone with my insurance on Friday morning. On a telemedicine call Friday afternoon and Monday in the chair having the work done. Everyone was so accommodating and pleasant, never did they make me feel like I was imposing on them. They definitely went over and above to take care of me. What made this even more amazing I had not been there in two years. And the time before was a cold call from my dentist for a tooth to be pulled and the fit me in that day. I have never been to a practice that treats there patients so well. They really have it all together in a state of the art facility.

I contacted the office and asked why the first i was hearing about this was 5 months later and the response was i owe the money. I told them i paid in full I paid 5500+ on my final visit. Today i received a call from a collection agency saying i had been delinquent since Sept. and payment was due in full. I pay my bills, excellent credit score and to be sent to a collection agency and effect my credit over there shooty billing is a place i would stay far away from. I also will be in touch with my referring dentist. I hope they enjoy the $470.00 dollars as i am hopeful this will help others not get caught in what seems to be a common sneaky pratice.

I had just had a root canal a few months before elsewhere and it took 2.5 hours and they did a mediocre job. Dr. Nagel's work healed great and my other dentist who did the bridge was very happy with his work as well. I've told my friends that if they ever need a root canal, Dr. Nagel should be their first choice.
