I went to Dr. Nagel for a root canal last year and I was amazed. He was very competent and was in and out of my mouth in 45 minutes! It was incredible. I had just had a root canal a few months before elsewhere and it took 2.5 hours and they did a mediocre job. Dr. Nagel's work healed great and my other dentist who did the bridge was very happy with his work as well. Provided false hope then lied to my referring dentist office about what actually happened.

Saw Dr. Greg Nagel for an angry tooth. My dentist gave him a call because I was having pain in a tooth adjacent to a tooth that was extracted and had a subsequent bone graft. The adjacent tooth was very painful and the pain was not getting better. There was a concern that a root canal might be needed. Dr Nagel and his team got me in right away and did testing on the tooth, took a 3D scan and reg X-rays. After thoughtful review and with an understanding of medications I am taking he concluded that all would be ok with time. Use the Advil as needed and time will heal the tooth. He was spot on. I appreciated that he didn't rush into a root canal and he really took the time to assess the situation. He saw me a second time, 10 days later just to make sure all ok. He spent time asking me questions and reviewing x-rays and explained that due to the condition of my tooth I was not a good candidate for a root canal and the tooth should be extracted by an oral surgeon. Incredible Dr. Yee! Fast, gentle, painless, clean. I was unlucky one who had inflammation under a crown... The doctor warned, that the crown might crack, that old, previously done canal, might have epoxy and couldn't be redone, etc. Everything went good at the end! Very recommend. read more

I found this practice to be one that tries their very best to help make their patients as comfortable as they can. Hearing you need a root canal isn't something you want to hear but I have to say they did a great job and I never experienced any real pain after the work was completed. I had Dr. Gonzalez. He was very personable and explained everything to me. He worked carefully and spoke to me to let me know when he was almost done. The facility is very clean which I liked seeing. For the first time ever, I needed major tooth work done. I went in for a few simple fillings and it turned into needing a root canal. Wicked bummer. I looked around and what worked with my insurance. The Endodontic Group came up in my search and reviews were pretty good, so I made an appointment and went to the Milford office. The office staff, meh, they weren't the friendliest. The little, older woman... I'm assuming she is the assistant to Dr. Carp... she was a doll and so kind. Dr. Carp then came in... all business. Told me what was up with my teeth and what I should expect for work, and made a 2 part root canal appointments. I was nervous and anxious. Lorraine and Dr. Carp made an excellent team!!! I had the pleasure (joking) of getting my first root canal last week by Dr. Nagel. They were super accommodating with their scheduling and were able to get me in the next day. The office is nice and the staff were pleasant enough. The procedure was relatively quick and painless (2 visits) an hour and a half each. Anytime it started to hurt I let him know and he gave more anesthetic. Super comfy chairs! iPods and blankets available as well to aid in your comfort. All in all it wasn't as bad as I thought and I credit Dr. Nagel and his team for that. My old wish is that they explained things a bit more than just a quick synopsis. I was curious to know the process; that may just be my person preference though. read more

I had a root canal done here. Dr. Carp and his assistant were phenomenal. I am severely claustrophobic and panic at times when too many instruments and people crowding near my face. They were extremely patient and accommodating and checked with me every few minutes. Amazing bed side manner. The whole process was very painless if I can say that about a root canal. IF ONLY 0 STARS WAS AN OPTION! I went here a long time ago to have a root canal done. They did it however - the screwed up multiple times. The first time I went there they had 3 separate doctors do the root canal over the course of multiple hours and multiple syringes of Novocain. Second time after it wasn't done right the first time they put me through hell again to fix it meanwhile charge me and the insurance company twice (or at least for more work). Third time in issue still not solved so they went in for round three at least this time they didn't triple bill. Fast forward to that summer - I went to Ukraine tooth was still killing me and went to a dentist in some random Ukrainian village where she took an xray of my whole entire head and said "oh there is your problem you have another tooth growing there which is pushing on this one. PROBLEM SOLVED no need for the root canal in the first place. Fast forward another couple years - I find out I have an infection at the root of the tooth that the root canal was done. My dentist sends me back to these jokers - they charge my insurance $167 to look at the tooth and tell me it should be pulled. While I was at this appointment Dr. Carp kept leaving to say he was going to look at "paperwork" or "X-rays" and I clearly saw a very frustrated and pacing Dr. Nagel (the younger one), which followed Dr. Carp into every room that he entered. Not obvious at all. All I want at this point is them to admit they were wrong and pay for me to get an implant for the tooth I am loosing because of their incompetence. It's $5,000 it wont break their bank. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! The office is there not because they care but because they want to syphon money from your pocket. read more

I was in a lot of pain from a temporary crown. When I arrived at the endodontic group office, Dr. Choi, was very reassuring, he and the dental assistant were extremely professional, and did the procedure within an hour. It was perfectly orchestrated. I was numb approximately and didn't feel any pain. Even at home later that day, I felt only very mild pain and didn't need to take any pain medication. I experienced a broken tooth on a Friday night and contacted the Endodontic Group (emergency referral from my regular dentist). The on-call Dr. got in touch with me within a half hour. We talked through things and set it up for me to be seen first thing on Monday. I arrived early Monday and Dr. Karp was AMAZING. Despite my dental anxiety and the fact that I had to be at the airport by late morning, Dr. Karp was kind, caring and very helpful. Fast forward two weeks and I had another dental emergency. I was in extreme distress during a flight back to Boston and went right to TEG where Dr Choi took exceptionally good care of me. He was compassionate (given my distress) but dealt wtih my issues efficiently. I still have work to be done but I would not go anywhere else! read more

Let's face it. Root canals are not like getting your hair done--but the Endodonic Group leaves you feeling just as good. Dr. Carp is so gentle and funny and I felt like I was in such good hands. He takes the time to explain everything to you so you know exactly what's going on--and he does it right. He had looked at this same tooth two years ago and I didn't need a root canal then, but now I did. I appreciate that he didn't do an unnecessary procedure prematurely. He does such a good job with each step and you get to watch TV during the whole procedure which is a great distraction.
