Great food truck options Cons- lots of children outside. I know this isn't an actual issue, but it was more of a playground than a bar. The Rustic qualifies as OMG! The ambiance is like an upscale Texas sports bar, so a bit rustic while nice. The breakfast sampler was a-a-a-amazing! Yes, it really is 5 small plates. Wow! The challah French toast and blackened potatoes were particularly memorable. Each dish was strongly flavored and perfectly prepared. I also got a French press coffee that underwhelmed (it was made with boiling water so it was a bit burnt flavored), but have no fear, it was replaced with a cold brew coffee that was really good. Service was TOP NOTCH with Lily being very pleasant, attentive, personable, and professional. I was impressed with her approach to make sure things met expectations. As this restaurant is planned to close at the end of the year, I recommend going there now! Enjoy. And if you see Lily, please let her know she makes a difference by making every guest feel welcome.

It started to rain but some fellow Texans fans were nice enough to let us share a table with them under the canopy for some shelter. My husband was able to score us an umbrella so we were able to enjoy the game in the rain. So far, their pizza has been the best bar food a 5/5!! I would compare it to Star Pizza. It came out piping hot, lots of cheese and generous toppings. It's one size and it fed three of us with leftovers. It's pretty unusual for a bar to have good pizza. I'd rate their bar service 2/5 because it's pretty ridiculous that if you have a server waiting on you that you have to find them and close out your tab. You can't just go up to the bar and close it. The place was packed and to try and find your server was practically impossible. We didn't have the time or patience so we found a manager and he took care of it. Other than that, we like the atmosphere at Little Woodrow's EaDo because its got plenty of seating and it's nearby after an Astros game or EDM show for a drink and hangout.

The service was especially top notch, it's really rare to finish a meal feeling like your server genuinely cared about your experience outside the realm of their job but the server I had this last Saturday went above and beyond. Was super helpful in helping decide what to order, brought an extra water unprompted because they noticed I was knocking them back, and overall just seemed genuinely super nice and sociable. One of the best servers I've ever had! The food was also quite good. I ordered the Inspector Clouseau burger and fries. While I enjoyed my burger I was slightly let down by the black bean patty. It wasn't bad by any means, just fell apart quite easily and had just a solid but not amazing taste. I was super excited to try the peppercorn aoli on my burger but it ended up being more muted than I was hoping for. I am someone who loves peppercorn to an unhealthy degree so this "lack" of peppercorn might ultimately be just the right amount for others. Fries were great too, no real notes just really well executed and all the sauces were splendid. I did try a couple of sweet potato fries from someone else in my party and was somewhat underwhelmed so I would recommend ordering the regular ones. Hope to try this place again sometime soon!

I'm impressed !…read more Came here to watch a WC game on a Sunday. We arrived an hour before the start. The seating assignment is strange. Despite being quite empty at that time, we had to be on a waitlist system for about 20 min. Maybe people signed up for that time slot, unclear ? The tables do move. We were originally assigned right under the TVs, which defeated our purpose of watching the game. We moved our table back, enough to not pinch our neck. It's a great location for game watching. TVs are set all throughout the bar. Bonus if there are two or more sport events. That evening, we could watch a WC game and a UFC fight at the same time. What surprised me was the quality of the food. The wings were excellent, the burger came out quickly as well. The fries could be crispier. The tots were good. Wish they offered sweet potato fries. Overall pricing is a bit on the higher side. So watch your alcohol consumption, lol! Now, it is downtown so parking isn't the best. Use a rideshare. I can be convinced to go back for their wings. I had a salmon Caesar, which was fine, but $31 plus a hidden 4% service charge for not a lot of lettuce, dressing, and four croutons. An app (chips and bland dip, skimped on the chips) and two entrees, a 16 oz beer and two mixed drinks was $145 with tax and tip.
