    Thai Seafood Green Curry...so good!!!
    Amanda M.

We decided to give this place a try on a whim. The stand out part of our meal here was the Thai Seafood Green Curry. Wow was this good! It had a great amount of heat to it, which was balanced with the subtle coconut flavor. We loved the fish and mussels in it, but sadly, the amount of both were very little. The veggies in it were great. The two starters we got were just okay...The Tuna Crunchy Rice and Volcano Shrimp. The tuna dish was decent (oddly sweet), but the shrimp was a total miss. It did not have much flavor outside of fried batter. We likely would not order either again. I got the So Fresh and So Clean cocktail, which was very refreshing. I liked it a lot. My husband got a drink that was a nightly special and said it was just okay. Service was not great either (even while the restaurant was half empty). One particular complaint is that they brought the dishes out too quickly and close together, which made it hard to enjoy each dish we ordered. Overall, the decor was very fun and inviting. The vibes were good!

Great meal - everything was had was delicious. The maui fries, cobia fish and smashburgers were all enjoyed. Would definitely return.

OMG!! So incredible! This place blew me away. The drinks were sublime and the food was even better. The servers were great and really helpful. Amazing island vibes and cool music. Happy hour is from 3-5pm and it picks up around 6. Highly recommend!!!

Obsessed with their picturesque decor for the holidays! While visiting, we swung by for our daily happy hour specials beverages and select bites. Our favorite was snagging a hot mulled wine to accompany our stroll through the holiday village. The bartender was hospitable sharing other local favorites to support.

Food is VERY pricey but so is 30A. They offer such unique food and drink ideas. Servers have always been so kind and helpful. Expect to pay quite a bit (we've only been there for brunch) but your tastebuds will be happy with the awesome combinations. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating too which is nice.

The Daytrader is in a great location, just outside of Seaside's Central Square. It's the perfect spot to escape the summer heat, cool off in the AC, enjoy a few cold drinks, and grab a quick lunch. The location is definitely prime, but the food fell a little short for us. The smashburger was good, but it lacked the thin, crisp-edged patties you usually expect from a true smashburger. The Spam Musubi was very salty, likely because the rice was seasoned as well. On the plus side, the Dos Pilotos draft was excellent, though unfortunately they ran out after just one glass. The fries were perfectly cooked and the drinks were cold, both a big plus on a hot July day. Service was friendly and efficient, but for a $120 lunch that consisted of a smashburger, kids burger, Spam Masubi two drinks and fries, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We'd definitely come back but will probably try their happy hour next visit.

We tried the tiki bar for the first time in Seaside and we were very appealed by the drink options. They were all so fun and extremely tasty! Such great service and atmosphere. Very beachy and tropical vibes which we LOVED! The cups they give for certain drinks are very creative! We got a Moscow mule drink that was served in a spam can! We have not dined for food here but it is definitely on our list.

By far, my favorite restaurant in 30A! The food here was absolutely delicious! I got to try the smashburger (which you can never go wrong with) and the Spicy Tuna Bowl (huge portion!!!!). The drinks here were unique and tasty too. Definitely recommend trying out this place!

Cool spot and find friendly staff. The food is very diverse so there is something for everyone. The trinket and decor will bring you back to the days of bartering.

We stopped by for happy hour and ended up getting some of their $11 happy hour drinks and $8 wings. The service was good and the drinks were good at happy hour price (pricey at standard times drinks). The area is very cool with tons of other restaurants and access to the beach. Would definitely stop by for another happy hour drink when we are in the area.

Day Trader Restaurant in Seaside on 30A was a great find. I had the huli huli chicken, which was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also tried the sangria and it was delicious and refreshing. Laid-back atmosphere with really good food and drinks, definitely worth stopping by.

Amazing food! The pork in the salmon bowl was a little salty but everything else was soo tasty! They gave so much rice with the poke bowl -- didn't finish this. I loved my chicken biscuit sandwich, it was seasoned and fried perfectly! Go here for good drinks, good food, and great vibes.

Local Perspective - Good Service, Food Was Just Okay…read more We're locals in the Panama City Beach area and decided to try Flamingo Joe's during the off-season while we were out looking for pizza. We found them online and thought we'd give it a shot and support a local place. The restaurant has a fun, kitschy beach vibe and the staff was friendly. We were seated right away and our waitress was attentive. Service was actually very good and our food came out quickly. When we first walked in, though, there was a strong smoky smell, almost like someone had been smoking in the enclosed patio area. It was also extremely quiet. We were the only customers there at the time, which made the atmosphere feel a little flat. As for the food, it was unfortunately just okay. Two people in our group ordered pizza and both felt like it tasted very similar to frozen pizza. The wings were fine but nothing particularly memorable. I had a burger and fries, which were decent and probably the safest choice of what we ordered. While we were there an entertainer came in and started setting up for music later in the evening, which was actually nice and made us think it might get more lively later on. Overall, the service was friendly and fast, but the food didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. We're always happy to try local spots, but this probably isn't one we'll be rushing back to. The focus this evening seemed to be more on training a new employee than on the customers. Everyone needs training when they start a job, so we waited patiently. We eventually placed our order: a Hawaiian chicken and fries. The order was repeated back to us, and I even heard it repeated twice in the kitchen. While we waited, a man was pacing behind the bar, eating chili out of a plastic container in front of the two other customers, talking about how "she makes the best chili in the world." It was an odd experience. When our food arrived, it was a Hawaiian burger drenched in teriyaki sauce. I ate about half the burger and most of the fries before being asked how everything was. I mentioned that it wasn't chicken. She apologized and offered to remake it as a chicken dish, but after a long day of travel with multiple flights, I was already hungry and had started eating. I told her I'd just finish what I had. She did take $4 off the bill, which I appreciated. Overall, it was just a letdown, especially since we've enjoyed this place on previous visits. Sorry, Jo.

We chose to sit outside, and while the service was great, the food was even better. For starters, I had the orange margarita (recommended by our waiter), and wow, it was delicious. I've never had one quite like it. For my entrée, I ordered a mix of three tacos, and each one was packed with flavor. The only downside was the number of tiny flies outside, they kept finding their way into my drink. Not sure if that's typical, but I'd probably opt to sit inside next time because of it. That said, the food and overall experience were really great, and I'd definitely recommend checking this place out!

We stood there for a while trying to figure out if we needed to seat ourselves or if we should wait on somebody. We were finally noticed and directed to a table. After being seated they brought us chips and salsa. For the most part, I love chips at a Mexican restaurant! They're always so thin and crispy and taste fresh. I guess you can go wrong in some instances, but these were PERFECT! Thin, crisp, and salted. And the salsa was just right. It wasn't too spicy. I ended up ordering the quesadilla and my partner ordered a combination plate. Her combination plate had a tamale that she didn't want so I took it. I can say that the tamale tasted like it came out of a can. It was not authentic at all. I can't go wrong with the quesadilla that's pretty much my go-to. She really enjoys her tacos and she said they were pretty good. Overall the food was okay.
