Since then I've ordered bottles from their website shipped to myself, and to others as gifts. BUT whenever I have the chance to visit their cafe in Newcastle I make a point to. It's right off the 80 and an easy stop if you're heading East that way from Sacramento. There's a large parking lot and the building is easy to find once you know what to look for- but if you're heading East on 80 it's a right off the exit and then almost an immediate left into a little business area- I've missed the turn more than once and had to turn around. The cafe itself is on the smaller side, but they have plenty of covered "outdoor" seating, I put it in quotations because a lot of the seating is very well covered even though it's still outdoors. Inside you'll find their handwritten menus posted on craft paper as well as printed menus by the cash register. They have coffee, matcha, chai, breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and pastries. Everything here is delicious and every time I've stopped in the staff has been so friendly. On my latest visit I bought a bottle of Chai concentrate, some cowboy candy, their house Chipotle sauce, a dirty pumpkin chai with a cold foam, and the NFCC panini and they through in a little pumpkin scone as a bonus. It's alays such a treat to stop in and even better when I get to take goodies home to make more food and drinks myself with their amazing ingredients. I also like that they highlight other local businesses by selling honey, spices, pottery and other items in their store. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area or passing through.

They also have their own line of seasonings & chai concentrate (more on this later). The line moves at a decent pace. There is a lot of seating found in an adjacent room to the side of the pick up window, a patio area with umbrellas, a bench, & other nearby tables. So far we've ordered THE BEST Dirty Chai Latte (both hot & iced) that I've ever had & an iced Lavender Latte (so freshly floral) to drink. We've also had a few scones--Blueberry Meyer Lemon (my absolute FAVE scone I've ever ordered from anywhere!!), Black Bottom, Gluten Free Blueberry, & Chocolate Chip with Chai Glaze (with our lucky timing being when a freshly made batch came out). All have been SO tasty with a tender interior. Note--they update the menu board when they run out of scone flavors or they become available again. We've experienced both just straightforward customer service, & a friendly & helpful staffer who answered our questions & didn't rush us even when it was busy. Back to their Chai Concentrate--We were so enamored with their latte that we bought a bottle. Then we had to go back to buy more bottles. They'll be a pantry staple from now on. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 stars is because I feel like they have a little bit of a more sour (idk how to really describe it) espresso shot, maybe from a shorter brew time or an under extracted shot but nonetheless the coffee was still great. I live in Rocklin and a 25 minute drive for a cup of coffee might seem silly, but wow is it magical to me. The scones are unbeatable and they have the most unique and creative flavors. Lately I've enjoyed the s'mores scones and the mocha scones (which are made with decaf, in case anyone is worried) but they've always got something unique and delicious in the pastry case. My partner loves their BYO sandwiches for lunch, and while I haven't tried them, they look delicious. When I'm hungry I go for the outstanding avocado toast. Everything is locally sourced and the balsamic/olive oil they dress the arugula with adds a flavor bomb that I can't get enough of! Service is always kind and courteous, and they give you a sticker for every espresso drink or sandwich you order... the 10th ones are free. Go support this wonderful local grocer/deli/coffee shop. I ordered a mocha and the sweet cheese crepes. My mocha was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolatey! I savored every sip. The real star of the show though, were the crepes. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes.
