This is basically a replica of the big retail candy shop called Itsugar. Clear tubs were lined up in the center of the store with plastic grabbers to pick out your favorite gummie candies that you pay by weight. An ice cream bar was at the rear of the store with stuffed animals against the outer walls. My wife decided on our favorite peach gummies and literally got 7 pieces for $4.60 - Yes, totally insane. PLEASE READ MY ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW BEFORE DEALING WITH THIS BUSINESS AND BE CAUTIOUS BEFORE HIRING. AN EVENT I SPENT WEEKS PLANNING AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON WAS RUINED BECAUSE OF DELLIQUEZ CUSTOM CAKES.** My experience with Delliquez Custom Cakes started out just fine. I wanted to order a 2-tier fondant cake, cookies and cupcakes for my son's 2nd birthday party. There was a lot of back & forth regarding products, pricing, design and ideas. The usual. Chef Dee was very professional in that aspect, and her work looked beautiful so I had no reason to doubt her. However, on the date of my son's party, my cake and desserts did not show up. The party had started at 4:00 PM and I could not reach Chef Dee at all. I tried calling, leaving voicemails, sending numerous texts & an email... I left an additional phone number incase my cell phone wasn't getting a signal. No answer or response whatsoever. I had already sent Delliquez Custom Cakes over $300 for my cake and cupcakes, yet I had no product to show for it. A person doesn't spend hundreds of dollars on a fondant cake just to eat it; it is a showpiece and a centerpiece of the party. I had spent roughly $2,000 on the party and had family fly in from out of town and out of the country for my son's big day; I put a lot of effort into planning and preparations. I had made arrangements so that everything would run smoothly and I could just enjoy the day with my little boy. I ended up being extremely upset, stressed and embarrassed, especially because it seemed to myself and my guests that I had been scammed. Because of this and because I could not reach Chef Dee in any way, my husband had to leave our young son's birthday party for 1 1/2 hours to go buy cakes and desserts for our 30-guests; he missed half of the party and spent an additional $125. He was very upset. At 6:30 PM... towards the end of the party (it began at 4:00 PM), in walks our cake. I. WAS. STUNNED. I honestly didn't even know what to say. Our guests were shocked... some outright upset. However, the woman that brought it said she was just delivering so I didn't feel that much could be done or said at that time anyway. The cake was 2 1/2 hours late. No notice, no explanation. The cake was pretty, it tasted just fine, however it was missing two of the elements that were important to me to have on the cake: My son's age and his date of birth. I had let Chef Dee know from the beginning that I wanted those details on the cake, which she seemed to understand. After the party, I saw that I had a few text messages from Chef Dee apologizing and saying that she understood why I was upset but all of their communication systems were down. I told her that I was very upset about the incident and that we would speak during the week. I later emailed her explaining why I was so upset as well as how my husband had to leave our son's party for so long and how much more of a cost we had to incur because the products that we had already purchased and paid for from her didn't arrive on time and because she could not be reached in any way. I told her that I absolutely felt entitled to a partial refund at the least. A couple of days later, she let me know that there was a check in the mail and when it was to arrive. I was blown-away when I opened the envelope. Wrapped in a letter of apology and understanding was a check for $30. Ten dollars an hour for tardiness on their part and the remainder for not having included my son's age and date of birth. I paid over $300 for a cake and cupcakes. I certainly didn't expect a full refund, but $30? When I tell people the story followed by that number, their jaws drop. She also gave me a credit for a future order, but I will never use her services again nor will I ever recommend her to anyone. As a small business, I know that word of mouth is very important to survival and success. It is also very important to take care of your current customers. I don't feel that I was taken care of fairly, and I still... even after the $30 check and letter of apology... feel that the situation was handled terribly on the part of Delliquez Custom Cakes.

My first order was for 15 Giant Cupcakes for a decorating contest at work. We had the molds we wanted them to use, they accepted to use them and the order was placed. Order was for 30 cakes. Two of them were damaged while on transit but were replaced. We've ordered decorated cakes as well, with specific themes and they did not disappoint us. You can even give them pictures as reference of what you want and they'll do an almost exact copy. If you have special requests like sugar free/ flavors/ etc. they'll make it.
