Here's my take: over the past 10 years, small gift shop like Terrazza have disappeared, closed because of online shopping and specifically Amazon. I LOVE a great gift shop and love poking around enjoying the beautiful displays, and products you really only find in a store like this. I live in CT where most stores like this have shuttered so when both daughters moved nearby Franklin, finding this was the best surprise. Is it priced higher? Well it's a small business so that might be true. Is the staff "watchful"... I've experienced this and I don't take offense as they're protecting their investment. If they followed me the entire time, I'd never return as I don't like that but it's been subtle. The customer service comments I understand. And appreciate. Their return policy isn't particularly lenient but again it's a small business trying to survive in a world of internet shopping. However how many times do you buy something online on Etsy or amazon and it's not quite what you expected or wanted? ... there's nothing better than seeing the item in person, touching it and holding it. One reviewer's comment on the registers and gift wrapping....I'm sure if the owner (s) were aware of that, it wouldn't happen again . That's irritating and plain dumb but not a reason not to shop here. It's really a fabulous gift shop with some unique merchandise. I'm really happy I found this shop and will continue to shop here.

I was immediately interested because of the name of the shop and also because I love checking out gift shops and supporting small businesses. It was towards the end of my lunch break so I didn't have the time to check it out, but went on their website and was very impressed by it so I made it a point to stop by today. The store is tucked away in a plaza with other stores so there is plenty of parking. When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by the owner, Sharon, who was very kind, helpful, inspirational, and super down to earth. She told me the store was just opened last month so she is still in the process of getting merchandise for it. I would not have known if she didn't tell me as there were plenty of cute items available for purchase throughout the store. She gave me a little tour of the store and showed me the various different items that she had for sale without ever being pushy. She explained that she tries to sell things that are locally made which I absolutely love. We talked quite a bit and I found her journey to be very inspiring. Without having any knowledge or experience of owning and running a business, she took the risks that come along with it to follow her passion and do what it is that she loves. The store itself is very cute. The decor is clean and refreshing. She has various different items for sale including home decor, gifts, jewelry, pet items, candles, etc. Being a vegan, I was very pleased to see that she also had some vegan items for sale such as vegan leather handbags and vegan chapsticks/ lip glosses. We love the West Elm outlet and got an incredible deal on our couch…read more They have a section where they sell couch pieces by the section for $100 each, so say it's missing the chaise or arm (which you can buy at retail) they send it to this section. So we ended up being there at the right time and day to snag one of their modular sectionals, which was 5 pieces just missing the arm. It was a $6k couch, which we got for $400 and we ordered the missing arm, which ended up being $450 on it's own at retail, but still a major win. I did go at least 3x a week to see their fresh inventory for about 3 weeks straight while on the hunt for a good deal, but in the end, it was awesome. My wife and I venture out there anytime we visit the Wrentham Outlets. Our next haul will be for a dining table, which they do have at a 40-50% discount from time to time. We've bought light fixtures too, at a great discount, and little by little, outfitting our home with quality furniture pieces. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting.
