I found that there was more of a focus on upholstery fabric and other types, but the selection was vast for such a small store. It's one of those places that you would easily drive by without checking out, unless you were purposely going there, and I would definitely purposely go there in the future. I will have to say that it's not the cheapest place I've been. I would like to find a place that has a good selection of remnant fabric at a cheap price. I'll take any suggestions people have.

They sell the high quality name brands and have very helpful staff. There are fabrics for sale it not a lot of them. You can however find a whole wall of cool quilting tools. The silks are up front, most $35 / yard, so I had a brief sticker shock. But that of course is a good price for real silk, and the prices throughout the rest of the store were right in my comfort zone, especially 9.99/yd for upholstery, with a spectacular selection. I bought 4 yards to make patio drapes, just enough to test what it might look like. It's the kind of store that makes you want experiment, try things out, and that's my favored kind of store.

Both the owner and her daughter are the most lovely woman. The owner has spent a lot of time in Seattle (where I live) and was even able to give me recommendations for a good yarn store there, as I've been struggling to find a good fit for me! I came here with my mom (I'm almost 30, btw) and they ignored me in favor of trying to sell things to her - and she's not a quilter. Customer service fail. 2) Their work space is incredible. It is so big and would allow so many people to meet and sew together. Unfortunately, there is no open-sew night (even if you bring your own machine). You have to pay $20 just to hang out. I think it's a missed opportunity for cultivating community and loyalty in your customers.
