What a cute little shop! Easton is severely lacking in small boutiques, but Auntie Zaza's comes…read morethrough as the premiere destination for knitters and yarn enthusiasts to shop to their heart's content! The store is essentially a storybook cottage, filled to the brim with everything a knitter or crocheter could ever want, and presided over by the fabulous "Auntie Zaza"! Yes, the owner of the shop is an ever-delightful presence, enchanting shoppers with her bubbly personality and enthusiastic manner. She even gives knitting lessons to craftspeople of all ages and skill levels, and even though I haven't knit a stitch in my life, I look forward to signing up for one of her classes in the near future. Easton may be a bit "out of the way" for Yelp's decidedly Boston-based user makeup, but if you want to support an awesome small business and get some of the best yarn and crochet / knitting accessories on the South Shore, Auntie Zaza's is the place to go!

Fantastic yarn store! I was in Easton visiting my grandma, and since I'm a new knitter she…read moresuggested I come down here. I'm so glad I did! They have a wonderful, varied selection of yarn! They have a lot of mid price range blend, which I am so about and also some nice higher end yarns. Not only was the selection great, but so are the owners! Both the owner and her daughter are the most lovely woman. The owner has spent a lot of time in Seattle (where I live) and was even able to give me recommendations for a good yarn store there, as I've been struggling to find a good fit for me! She even took a few moments to show me a new technique! Wonderful store with a wonderful selection and even more wonderful people!!

I have always wanted to learn how to quilt, and I am so pleased to have found All About Quilts. I…read morewas afraid to begin a class because my sewing skills were so basic. However, I was encouraged to jump right in and I am loving it! I just signed up for my 2nd 5 week course. I find all the staff there to be friendly and welcoming. They are extremely knowledgeable and talented, as well as patient and hands-on instructors. The shop carries a lovely selection of beautiful fabrics. The class space is open, clean and very bright. Five stars!

This place is worth a stop if you're a fabric lover. The shop is small and has a decent selection…read moreof fabric, but I didn't see any of the big designers represented (Lizzy House, Robert Kaufmann, Alexander Henry, Rowan, etc.) and admit to being a name-brand fabric shopper. I would rate this shop higher for convenience but for two things: 1) the staff was not very friendly or helpful. I came here with my mom (I'm almost 30, btw) and they ignored me in favor of trying to sell things to her - and she's not a quilter. Customer service fail. 2) Their work space is incredible. It is so big and would allow so many people to meet and sew together. Unfortunately, there is no open-sew night (even if you bring your own machine). You have to pay $20 just to hang out. I think it's a missed opportunity for cultivating community and loyalty in your customers. Let people bring their machines and sew here for free, and leave the shop open - I promise people will buy stuff! +Good batik selection. +Massive work space with a longarm machine. -Only open after normal work hours (9-5) one day per week.
