    Smash Burger with French Fries
    John S.

Have been wanting to try this for awhile and finally got around to it. I had the Smash Burger with a side of the Parmesan Garlic Fries since they were unfortunately out of Onion Rings. Wait was a reasonable amount of time after ordering. We grabbed cocktails from the Cahaba Brewing Company to go with it and enjoyed it all at a table near one of the (maybe only) working patio heaters since all the inside tables were taken or reserved. Unfortunately there apparently isn't a designated smoking area of the patio area. The burger was excellent and the fries very good which helped with my disappointment about the onion rings. I will be back to try some of their other rotating seasonal options, just wish it was easier to know what is available before making the trip.

Super fast and friendly service. I was extremely pleased with my encounter at Cahaba's new food truck. As if I needed another reason to love CB! The current will be a permanent fixture at the brewery so this is a plus indeed! I believe they have only officially been open for about a week. I'm sure they have kinks to work out but the food is well made. I absolutely loved the onion rings ! The wings were fried hard as I requested. Only knock for me was the wing sauce was kinda skimpy. More sauce would have really helped with the flavor. I would order both of these items again and I'm definitely looking forward to trying their smash burger & pretzel with beer cheese!! I highly recommend checking this food truck out the next time you're at Cahaba brewing - they send a text when your order is ready.

Cahaba Brewing has been needing a more regular food truck set up for a while. They have always had amazing food trucks. But I have been there many times hungry during a time one wasn't there. This day we were at Cahaba to watch a soccer game. Pro tip - they are one of the best spots to watch a game since one of the owners is a huge fan. It was around lunch and the family decided to join me. So we got a hodgepodge of things. We got a panini, burger, brat, soft pretzel, fries and onion rings. Not a meal I would want a dietician to evaluate. But a good Saturday treat. Everything was good. But nothing was absolutely spectacular. There was DEFINITELY more than enough food and we ended up with multiple to go boxes. I do recommend the onion rings as a side. You can tell they are made fresh. I am not sure this is a place I will go out of my way for. But if I find myself at Cahaba, I know I have a solid food option now.

    Ice cold onion rings! ENJOY!

If you want to find ice cold onion rings and wait over an hour for tiny crunchy burgers, you have found the place!! Not that many people... why on earth would it take so long to make 3 burgers and some onion rings. I hope it gets better soon! They advertise double patty and you better get it because a single patty is like a half. F-terrible!

The grits were smooth, warm, and buttery, like comfort food that makes you feel happy. The people working there were very nice and really friendly. They really made me feel welcome and were kind while I waited for my food. The wait was not too long, and everything was made fresh. The amount of food you get is perfect for an individual so you will not leave hungry. That made it even better for the price. If you like tasty and warm Southern food that you will be eager to come back to you should try this place. I will go back again to eat more because it was so good. Can't wait to try the chicken next.

The catfish was coated in a glossy glaze with just enough heat to make your nose run--but never enough to slow you down. Perfectly cooked, flaky, and packed with flavor in every bite. And the Cajun ranch fries? A full chef's kiss. Crispy, seasoned just right, and the perfect companion to the fish. The truck stayed busy the entire time--from people getting off work to people like us, just looking to try something new--which tells you everything you need to know. Amazing food, incredible flavors, and we genuinely can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. If you see this food truck, do yourself a favor and pull up!

However, you do get served. First of all, this place had AC that was broken or malfunctioning. My group was seated in a corner and we were sweating like hogs during the entirety of our experience. It was actually cooler once we stepped outside (in mid July). I was starving for the steak nachos but was massively underwhelmed. I feel like nachos are one of those things that are hard to mess up. However, the steak was more like ground beef, and despite the amount of cheese and chopped vegetables, the flavor was lacking. Also, there were barely any chips, and the cost to have a refill of chips is $2. When I asked for a water, I was given a water bottle without any notice beforehand that this would be the only option and obviously an extra charge. I will say that the service is very speedy, attentive, and thorough. The margaritas were very tasty (lime, prickly pear, strawberry were the best). However, they were quite small relative to other margs around town and significantly more expensive. For the venue size and atmosphere, I was a little disappointed at the price point for the portion sizes. My nachos, water, and margarita ended up being $25 before tax. I would probably try a different place for the same vibe next time.

I could tell right off the bat that they put a lot of effort into serving high-quality food full of flavor. I really enjoyed the sauces as well. Additionally, the service was great, and everyone was super friendly. Even though it is a food truck and can get fairly busy, everything was super fresh and prepared very quickly. They offer things like onions and jalapeños to go along with whatever you order, as well as a variety of drinks and chip options. It is a food truck, so the atmosphere is super casual, and there is normally a small crowd, but you likely won't be waiting long. They are located in a super convenient spot, so it is never too much of a task to stop by. Overall, Dos Hermanos is a great choice if you want a quick, affordable, and delicious meal. I will definitely be back! One thing to keep in mind is that they close pretty early, but works perfectly for a nice lunch.
