I can't believe it took me so long to try this place; I've passed it so many times! We were here for coffees, but the food options look amazing! There are lots of yummy sounding lunch options, as well as fun kid-focused treats. We ordered coffees and cookies, and everything was amazing! The snicker-doodle was to-die-for, and the drinks were good, too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. 5/5 Definitely recommend, and plan to come here again! read more

super cute place but my food and coffee was just awful My croissant was super burnt it just crumbled when I picked it up to eat it, the bacon was burnt too :/ had to throw it away The coffee was horrible too. Asked for a vanilla latte and it taste like old black coffee Girls were super nice maybe just an off morning :( read more

First time here and so glad I made the stop! Got hungry on way to ferry and noticed a long line of cars at 7:45am today going into this place. I swerved over and got in line. Ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and swapped the American cheese for cheddar. Ordered a large drip coffee too. The service was delightful...personally took your order from car window while waiting in the long line of cars. Reminds me of In-N-Out with that kind of awesome service. Breakfast sandwich: Amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. Loaded with bacon and exploded with flavor. Coffee: Super YUM. This will be my go to breakfast spot now. Thank you! read more

Great coffee!! Great breakfast sandwiches!!! Definitely hits that early morning, first thing out of the block start. Had the Sausage egg croissant and it was excellent. Buttery, tender yet crunchy croissant with a rich sausage patty and fried egg. OMG it was good. The coffee is full bodied dark roast and they make a great latte. Service is fast and efficient, walk up window easy to access, drive through as well. Highly recommend. read more

Super friend service. When the drive through line is long they send someone out to take orders. We didn't have to wait long even though the line of cars was long. The food is hot and delicious. The outside sitting area has a good vibe and I could see sitting out there during the summer. Great place to stop for coffee and breakfast after taking the Edmonds Ferry! read more

The convenience of the drive thru and variety in menu is so great. One of my favorite vegetarian sandwiches and my daughter loves the pb&j. I finally sat outside and loved the little courtyard patio. Friendly service, great food and drinks, and cute space. My wife and I got off the ferry and were starving when we came across this little place. We took advantage of the nice morning and sat on their patio near the pond. Everything we got was very fresh and tasty, the coffee was excellent. Definitely worth a stop in. read more

Ugh, how to even get STARTED on this place! I love love LOVE the Cup ans Muffin, often stopping by for a coffee in the morning. The drinks never disappoint! This spot was super convenient on our way up to Port Angeles last weekend! My friend and I got the Red Bull Spritzers -- various flavors with a 12 oz red bull. If you are looking for a great spot for a quick Breakfast, this place is it. Blueberry muffin was fresh, filled with berries And very tasty. The BLTA I ate was incredible. Fresh, delicious and a real big sandwich, you could share. It tastes So great you probably won't want to. Coffee, Latte, was excellent. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity To go back. Delicious, fresh, and delightful! We stopped for breakfast, they even had a few bites of bacon just for the dog. I had the Lemon Marion berry muffin and a latte, and both were outstanding. Hubby had a breakfast sandwich. He was very pleased. read more

The Cup and Muffin is in my neighborhood. It's very accessible for those who are traveling to and from the Kingston Ferry. It's easy in and out and pretty quick in terms of service. The owner Amy is a really terrific person. Always upbeat and friendly. She takes great care of her customers. I used to really like just about everything on the menu some years ago. However, over the past few years it's just not as good. Nothing on the menu taste as good as it did or as good as it should. I find the breakfast muffins usually underdone and a bit raw, and the bagels tough and chewy. I can't figure out why they can't get my breakfast items done properly there anymore. So I honestly I stop trying. I simply got tired of complaining. I still enjoy the Italian sub if and when it is prepared well. It too has been hit and miss but when they get that sandwich right it is actually outstanding. read more

I really wanted to like this place, I travel over the ferry quite a bit and I wanted a little "spot" that I loved and could recommend/ take visitors to. The food and drinks are great and that is where the 3 stars come in but man every time I have came the service is just not great, these baristas seem very sad and I might just be catching them on their off days or maybe it's the management but there is not much Christmas cheer here. :( read more

Favorite place in town for a lunch sandwich, especially the hot sandwiches. They are ALL really good. Anything on focaccia bread is a winner, they have salads, kids meals, and lots of coffee. If you haven't checked them out, you are missing out. read more

When you pay $5 for a coffee that when it handed to you and it feels like it light...you know something is not right. My cup was maybe 2/3rds full. I wouldn't even say 3/4! It wasn't even a good tasting coffee. Not worth going back to complain. Lesson learned. Won't be buying coffee there in the future. read more

If you're looking for the best "to Go" food for breakfast or lunch in Kingston go NO further....Great breakfast options not to mention well perfected coffees. When we go to the ferry boat or out crabbing on our boat in Kingston this is our go to place. The help are fantastic, full of smiles and great attitudes. read more

Super friendly service here! Went up to window when a dog beat me to it. Apparently they give a piece of bacon as a treat to dogs! Had the toasted bagel with cream cheese and hot roast beef sandwich. You can taste the freshness of ingredients, and it wasn't sloppy to eat. Cute place overall! read more

I was waiting in line for the ferry and just decided I'd get a redbull Italian soda. I approach the stand and it looked cute and the reviews were good. I asked her if she had redbull and she said yes so I proceeded to ask for a guava without cream and whip and a peach vanilla with cream and whip. I didn't realize until I got to my car, she gave me two regular Italian sodas. I don't understand why she would think that I would want regular Italian sodas when I asked I they had redbull? I mean maybe it's not common sense but being a barista, I feel like that should be easy to understand. read more

What can say ladies??!! Except. OMFG!!! I ordered the Hot Roast Beef sandwich, and boy It did not disappoint! My over usage of exclamation points should be an indicator of just how good this sandwich was. It was hot on crispy bread, cheese (not too much) tomatoes, lettuce, and heaps of Roast Beef!! And the sauce!?!? Dripped down my arm and I didn't care!! The service was nice and fast, I will gladly come across the pond again for this tasty treat. Definitely worth the Ferry ride alone!! read more

I thought there was great combination of heat between the salsa and the hatch chile peppers. I also got a chai latte, which had a cinnamon housemade chai. It was very good if you like chai. I was disappointed that when I came in their pastry case had only 2 scones (pretty much empty for a Monday Morning) so beware that they might not have baked goods if you visit. The location is very convenient though. Due to the close proximity to the ferry station, this also easy to grab a quick bite before hopping on.

My grilled meatloaf sandwich was delicious, but it was a good 5 1/2 inches in diameter and so thick that with everything else, I can only eat 1/4 of. Leftovers was a bit better than that I was able to eat a half a sandwich. I made a joke that it was my "side of beef" sandwich. My son-in-law's chicken sandwich was awesome and so was my wife's Katsu pork sandwich. I also had the passion fruit cheese cake. That was yummy! The employees, even though swamped, took care of us and are cheerful. The restaurant has a homey feel. We ate outside, though in the park next to it. They carried Bedford's brand of sodas, and they are awesome! The Marion Berry cream and the root beer was so good. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

First their baked goods are stodgy and not properly executed. Their shortbread tastes like cardboard and is nothing like English shortbread should be. No good butter in evidence here. Their koign amman is not even crisp on the outside. There is something off with each baked item. If you enjoy dump and go style baking that don't require any refinement but are full of American sugar, I think you will feel this is an elite bakery. Otherwise, this is a bad knock off attempt. Scones seem to be chewy and tasteless. I got a "lemon poppyseed" polenta cake where there was no lemon-y flavor at all! It was also heavy and couldn't handle more than 3 bites at a time. Stuck in the gullet. Second their service is appalling. The people behind the counter are all in on some inside ball game and customer service is not their emphasis. They are looking away while half-heartedly asking you what you would like, and more interested in serving up verbal repartees to their co-workers while distractedly trying to complete a sale. You can expect to repeat your order a few times. Then there's the off-handed use of bakery tissue which is not quite neat and hygienic. I mean it's a shambolic operation that gets away with it because there is no competition in Kingston unless you take the ferry across to Edmonds.
