Same prices for MUCH better friendly service and food. I went yesterday and will go there tomorrow as well. I expect this place has great Cuban sandwiches. A fast-food restaurant.

It came with a large fountain drink/tea and was served with yellow rice, plantains and a small cup of black beans. The pork and onions were good. Moist and a good helping. The yellow rice was nothing special. But it wasn't dry. Plantains were, again, ok. And the black beans had nice seasoning. All served on a Dixie paper plate with plastic utensils. Quick and efficient. There is plenty of seating, all in an open dining area. No privacy. And it's okay if you bring your mail or a package to be shipped. Those services are available just inside the front door, to the left.

The restaurant consists of a bunch of those old style concrete tables set outside under a gazebo. There are fans above you so even though it's outside you won't get very hot. This is as authentic as it can get. I am Cuban so I grew up eating this food and when I tell you it beats all the restaurants in Kendall, Miami I am not joking!! Their food is great and seasoned to perfection. The rice is soft and flavorful, the meat is always perfect with little to no fat and my favorite is the yuca. Did I mention the plates cost between $7-$11??? It's crazy how much food they give you for the prices. If you are looking for a spot with delicious authentic food that isn't processed and filled with fake ingredients, this is it. Highly recommended and I know once you go you'll see what I mean. In my humble opinion, an avocado/cilantro/lime sauce would have been better, but that's just my taste. I added some hot sauce (Cholula) that I had at the shop and it balanced the sweet. Overall, really good, and they have Cuban coffee, cafe Cubano/colada, etc. I'll definitely be back. I love Latin/Cuban/Mexican cuisine and what I had was really good. Give it a try.
