Opted for a beef empanada, ham croqueta and a guava pastry. The beef empanada was favorable with raisins inside and came with a dipping sauce that paired lovely with it. Croqueta was also very favorable. Guava pastry was decent and hit the sweet tooth. I liked the way they packaged it with the guava below and separated with parchment paper. It made an impression oppose to your typical white bag where they throw everything in together. This one felt as if it was packaged with love. I'll be back to sit inside next time and get a plated meal. Told the husband to bring him next time too.

Not extremely authentic. More American than Cuban which makes sense since we are not in Miami at this point anymore. My biggest complain was the croquettas. Need to buy better ones or learn to make there. They were not very good. I measure every Cuban place through their croquettas therefore the four stars. However I would come back here if in town. The total came to about $20, which I thought was a bit expensive for what I ordered. The coffee was just okay, and while the cheese pastries tasted fresh, they weren't particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the mamey milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor--easily the best thing I ordered. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd stop by again just for the milkshake. Overall, it's a decent place for a quick bite, but in my opinion, the mamey milkshake is the real reason to visit.
