The girl at the counter greeted me and took my order: a 16oz Pistachio Extra Hot Oat Milk Latte with no foam/no room. It was ready quickly but as soon as I picked it up I knew it had foam by the weight of it. I had 2 sips, took off the lid and my cup was less than 3/4 full and there was still more foam on top. Hence the 4 stars. It was pretty good but barista's..."No foam/No room means fill it to the rim please and I do not want any foam. I decided not to say anything but if I go back I definitely will since it was $8.25 for a 16oz cup and was really more like p8oz...just sayin' ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

The interior is packed with boots and limited bar seating. Service: My server JJ was great. Attentive but not overbearing, efficient but not rushing. The Food: I ordered the standard order (3 pancakes) of buttermilk pancakes, a side of link sausage and a breakfast tea with honey and steamed milk. The pancakes were great and humongous (hint: if your order pancakes, order the short stack). The sausage were plump diner style sausage with a hint of spiciness. So why only four stars? Two reasons caused them to lose a star (1) they only offered Earl Grey tea. No English Breakfast. I'm always amazed when a restaurant doesn't stock an item that costs little and isn't perishable like English Breakfast (black tea). They'll tell you it's the same as black tea but to a tea drinker that's just not true. (2) as a single diner, I always use my iPad and Jans is one of the few breakfast places that doesn't offer wifi! For a single diner or someone intent on taking care of business when grabbing a bite to eat, this is a major issue. It will cause me to mark Hans off my breakfast spots to eat at list. These two issues may not hinder you from dining and if their not important to you, you'll enjoy your breakfast at this local restaurant.
