The initial consultation was fraught with high-pressure sales tactics including "mandatory" work items that we weren't allowed to refuse if we wanted them to work on our home, such as replacing roof vents, which they never actually inspected, that already had rodent screens on them, and proactive work that, despite never being a problem area for over 2 decades, somehow needed immediate and mandatory protection because "if you close off one area to the critters, they'll go here next". Sorry but the fear tactics just don't sit well with me. I wanted an honest, grounded discussion. Instead I felt like I was treated like some sort of rube to be taken for a ride. The first time was in…read more2021, and we just engaged his services again last month to rehome some squirrels that were adamant about chewing their way into our house. Stewart was extremely responsive and came out within a couple of days to set up the traps. He made sure the traps were in a shaded area so that any captured squirrels weren't roasting in the sun, and came out daily to check/reset the traps and to escort the squirrels to a new area. Both times, he also examined our home for potential entry points and gave us the option to have him seal them or have another contractor seal them for us. Of course, we opted to have him do it, but I liked that he wasn't pushy and gave us enough information to make an informed choice. Hopefully we won't have guests trying to chew their way into our house for a while, but Stewart will once again be our first call if that happens again. Highly recommend!

The lady on the phone was very nice and explained the process their company and workers went through to help in a situation like ours and answered more questions the second time we called to confirm an appointment. A man by the name of Mark showed up right on time at our house two days later for a free inspection. He was very jovial and informative. He quickly diagnosed which kind of ants we were dealing with and quoted us a very fair price and was able to treat the interior and exterior at the same appointment. He went out of his way to show us where he believed the ants were coming in from and some preventative measures we could take to not have this issue again. Overall, my experience with this company was excellent and I'd highly recommend any friends or any of you to give this company a try if you have any pest control needs!

Aside from removal (depending on the state of nesting and any babies), I was also looking for a long term solution to keep birds from nesting in the soffit of my home year after year. While Anchor Pest was open to working on my Townhouse, they also have good prices and their removal process eco- and nature-friendly, however they were not able to offer the permanent solution I so desperately need. The representative was very courteous and responsive to my messages and phone calls. They did offer a deterrent (scare balloons) but this was only for short term. (Installed in Spring with removal after end of season.) I was hoping for additional work that would include sealing off access but this was not offered. In all fairness, Anchor was very transparent about the work they do and may be a good option for others when dealing with different pest/wildlife issues.

I asked him to clarify, and he dismissed my concerns with a smug attitude, telling me to take it up with the leasing office. This behavior left me feeling unsafe and disrespected in my own home. I reached out to the company, and although they promised to address the situation, the same technician returned the following week. During that visit, he once again made me feel uncomfortable and even recorded inside my home without my consent. This blatant disregard for my privacy and safety is unacceptable. I've tried to resolve this through the company's management, but the issue remains unaddressed. Multiple residents in my building have faced similar problems with this technician, and it's clear that the company has not taken meaningful steps to improve. I would have expected him to let me know he was at the house or at least finished spraying at the house- let me know what he saw and what he did and that it was gone. My tenants just said the nest was gone so I did not follow up. I hire a lot of contractors for my properties and I'm used to some kind of communication or follow up so this was just odd to me.
