I absolutely adore this place and I actually found a new place to get a haircut next door for a reasonable price so it was a win-win for me. They made me a vanilla latte, served in a real cup, it was excellent. They had homemade pop tarts!! So I ordered the Nutella one of course! Pastry was light and flaky, maybe a needed a little more filling, perhaps they could've heated it up more. The counter dude brought my order out separately. The place is doing great business. I love the decor and will definitely be back. I love mom and Pop small businesses, an antidote to Starbucks. Could be a great place to enjoy something to eat, have a nice cup of coffee, and relax with a book. Seems pet friendly too as a young woman brought a cute Boston terrier in with her.

From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. A sponge cake soaked in heavy cream, evaporated milk and condensed milk topped with fresh whipped cream and different toppings. The have toppings options such as berries, peaches, pineapple-coconut, Oreos, biscoff cookies, raspberry preserves or anything else you can think of. Then there's the CHUNKY CHARLEY COOKIES, OMG A HUGE 5oz cookie full of semisweet chunks and milk chocolate chips, browned butter, toasted oats with hints of vanilla, espresso and cinnamon. These things are insanely good. And then there's the Blueberry Oat Crumble cookie which is falling apart with toasted oats and dried, organic blueberries and browned butter. I can die happy. They also ship their cookies AND they have gluten free options for all of their treats. I'm sold on these guys, any reason to order is a reason to reach out to Charley's Sweet Treats. The woman I spoke with on the phone- the mother of the owner, was aggressive rather than understanding, and instead of making it right, they only offered me a pathetic $15 store credit (which why would I use that after this horrible experience). After spending nearly $80, that doesn't feel like fair compensation at all. They also tried to insinuate that I was lying about the experience and quality of the cake. This was such a poor experience from both the product and the customer service side that I feel others should be aware before ordering. Their name Twisted Sisters suits them. I will never order from this bakery ever again.
