If you are looking for a unique way to experience the outdoors while enjoying live theater, this is a fantastic option. The admission and event tickets were very reasonably priced, offering great value for a full evening of entertainment. When you arrive, you will want to drive to Lot 21 and meet at the pavilion, which makes for a smooth and straightforward check-in process. Convenient restrooms are located right at the pavilion, which is a huge plus before setting out on the trail. For seating, we brought our own lawn chairs, but you can also easily bring a blanket to sit on or simply choose to stand at the performance stops. The production itself was very well done and structured seamlessly. The event ran from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the late-afternoon sunlight and transition into the evening. The experience featured 7 distinct stops along the grounds. Walking between the scenes allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery of the Arboretum while moving naturally from one act to the next. The pacing felt just right, keeping everyone engaged without feeling rushed. Final Verdict: Combining gorgeous natural surroundings with engaging live performance makes this a must-do event. The seasons bring so many beautiful changes to this place, but the Arb is absolutely phenomenal at continuously expanding its attractions. From rotating art/sculptures, hosting gorgeous weddings, to their children's area, live music, dog days, pop up events, art shows and an awesome gift shop. Even the most anti-outdoors person would enjoy coming here. Parking is ample and the park is huge, spanning 1,700 acres! It took me many years realize how fortunate I was to grow up with this sensational outdoor museum within minutes from my home, after visiting many similar gardens, I can confirm the Arb is certainly a must see experience for nature lovers. There is some amazing history about this place as well. J. Sterling Morton created Arbor Day and he was the father of Joy Morton (founded Morton Salt). Joy made moneeyyyyy and decided he was going to buy land and basically collect trees from all over the world. In 1922, The Morton Arboretum was established with 175 acres and it's SO COOL this place still exists and has blown up to 1,700 acres. BTW there is still a cemetery on site honoring the Morton family.

The staff decided to take down table arrangements and all other decorations a solid hour and a half before the end of the event. They literally reached over guests conversing at tables to remove the center pieces. I could keep adding things which occurred but I think you get the overall incompetence and unprofessionalism of the evening When I spoke to management about my disappointment I was informed me that nothing they had done impacted my guests enjoyment and they did not understand why I felt they had not delivered what had been promise/presented at the tasting. They even tried to gaslight me that certain events had not occurred despite the fact that I had been there and witnessed them happening.
