Table setting during menu tasting

I have used The Carlisle twice now. The first was for my wedding when I worked with Joanne; she was an absolute nightmare. She was sloppy, scatterbrained, an avid chain smoker, and I dreaded having to see her. It got to the point where I made my husband respond to her emails because I had enough. To The Carlisle's credit, she is no longer with them. I chose them for capacity and proximity to the church- those there were the driving factors at the time. The second occasion was my brothers engagement and that was because of necessity. They were available last minute and able to accommodate our party. This time we had Nikki who was much better than Joanne; she is knowledgeable, organized and reliable. If you get the chance to work with Nikki, you're in great hands! The venue has 3 rooms and each has a $10,000 food and drink minimum for a Saturday evening booking. The cost of additional decor was not included in the purchase minimum. The rooms are clean and well cared for. I don't know if I would recommend for smaller parties who book only a portion of the venue since parking is limited, only 1 bridal suite, and 1 set of restrooms. Noise does tend to carry over between rooms so it can be a nuisance.

We highly recommend the Carlisle. We had our daughter's wedding there the weekend of 05/25/24. Laura and the staff at the Carlisle were amazing. The food was outstanding. The room was absolutely beautiful. It was a pleasure working with them.

Attended a 70th birthday celebration and everything was done in excellent taste. The facility was beautiful and well maintained. The service was very professional and pleasant. The food was plenteous and very delicious. Highly recommend this venue.

If I could give The Carlisle a 100-star rating I would because they certainly deserve it! We held my daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception at The Carlisle this past weekend and to say that it was incredible is an understatement. This venue is a hidden gem in the western suburbs of Lombard and hands down beats some of the expensive hotels in the Loop. The room was beautiful and immaculate. We chose the Elite package and upgraded to the seafood/hors d'oeuvers table instead of the passed hors d'oeuvers. There were 3 long tables loaded with raw oysters, baked clams, raw and breaded shrimp, caviar, eggrolls, meatballs, and vegetable tarts just to name a few of the huge selections offered. We had 300 guests who were able to choose from a filet, sea bass, or chicken as their entre' and every meal was served piping hot. Lastly, the sweet table was spectacular and plentiful. Our guests have all been raving about the food and Martini luge. Last but certainly not least, Laura Papa, the event manager, is nothing short of AMAZING! She was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and was on site the entire evening. She wasn't just on site she was in the room throughout the evening making sure everything was perfect. She is truly an asset to this venue. I would not hesitate to book future events at the Carlise. Thank you Laura and staff for making my daughters wedding reception perfect!

We had a beautiful wedding at the Carlisle in January. Planning was so easy. Lara and her associates were so receptive and listened to everything we wanted. There was exceptional attention to detail from Cocktail hour to last dance and send off! We chose to have 3 food stations, Greek, Italian, and carving. The food and mini desserts were absolutely delicious. They are experts in every aspect of wedding planning and worked together with all the other vendors such as florist, bakery, music, and photographers. Parking lot was well shoveled and salted. We received many compliments from our guests. Although it was the coldest day of 2024, our wedding was a magical winter wonderland!

I attended a wedding yesterday 9/1 and this place is dreadful! Brides beware the rooms are not sound proof as you would expect. We literally was listening to the Casper slide while we were watching our couple say their vows. Just horrible. Food terrible. If I could give this place a negative star I would.

Words cannot even described how amazing this banquet hall is. Laura was definitely the most professional, and helpful person that helped my husband and I prepared for our wedding day. The food, the service, the hospitality, the cake, and many more was above and beyond. As a bride I would love to say that my wedding day at this banquet hall with the help of Laura turned out to be 100000% satisfaction. I loved every moment of it. My husband and I will definitely come back here for future events. Thank you Carlisle for your amazing food and service.

We worked with both Danny and Laura. And even during covid times they answered all of our questions and were able to pull off a fantastic wedding! The food was amazing, the embiance was perfect and the service was great! We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding reception at The Carlisle. Thank you Danny and Laura for making our dream wedding a reality!

Damage done in Carlise Banquet parking lot.

I was there for a family wedding on Oct 19. The place was very nice but it lacked security in the parking lot. As I went to my car after the reception, I had noticed a busted out window as well as a couple others which had items stolen. We had addressed this to the manager at the time for them to check surveillance cameras. The location which I was parked was out of range or a blind spot and minimal lighting. Later that week I called the office to make a complaint and asked for a reimbursement for my damages. The office personnel took my information down and till this day still no word. I probably will not get anything out of this but just to make all aware that the parking lot is not safe.

It is refreshing because many banquet halls in the area look outdated and/or had disinterested staff. Humaira walked us through the whole event planning process and was very accessible the whole time. Humaira also quickly addressed a minor issue we had during the party with ease and accommodated to our needs in general. The bar staff were very friendly and made great tasting drinks. All of my guests loved the banquet hall. I strongly recommend hosting an event through Signature Banquets!

The venue is PERFECT for a small party but it does not compromise quality. Practically new furniture, silver elegant chairs, beautiful lighting and decor. In terms of service, fantastic! Humairah is truly truly here for you. Her goal was to get me everything I wanted, whether I bought it from this venue or not. She didn't try to sell things to us to make money and genuinely cared about what I wanted. There were endless options for decor. We even ordered a cake to cut during the ceremony from here for a super affordable price and it was absolutely beautiful! Humairah also set up a fantastic dessert table set up for us and I loved it! The food we catered from Shahi Nihari and it was delicious. The staff was attentive and professional. I have nothing negative to say as it was just outstanding.

The Asiago pasta with sun dried tomatoes was popular and went fast. The salad and fruit were fresh, and the sandwiches and pin wheels were delicious. The cheesy eggs were fluffy and the bacon and sausage were crispy and juicy! The yogurt parfait reminded me of what McDonald's use to have, but better. The dessert table had an assortment of cookies, dessert loaves, brownies, kolaches, and chocolates. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Promptly cleared our plates once we were done, as well as a making sure the buffet was in order. I'd come back here and dine at the restaurant for brunch with the girls. Definitely a beautiful venue to keep in mind.

I looked at several other golf clubs and nature arboretums, and Reserve 22 had the best selection BY FAR! We chose a delicious selection of salads, pasta, chicken, salmon, and fruit, and all of my guests RAVED about how delicious it was. We added on a dessert package (came with 6 different desserts!) and the chef accommodated my request to swap out one of the desserts for red velvet cake. Delicious! The other venues we considered had so few options and they looked fairly basic by comparison. This was an easy choice. 3. Price. Compared with other venues (and considering how the food selections paled in comparison), Reserve 22 was better for the budget and yet delivered and EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE! Angela S. was a pleasure to work with, and she was always available to meet and discuss our ideas. Brian oversaw food/beverages on the day of our event, and he was outstanding. Both of them made the day sensational! I can't recommend Reserve 22 enough, and I'll definitely tell my friends the same!
