While the MAC hosts a wide range of cultural programming year-round, what has drawn us back time and again, now three times, are their exceptional, large-scale art exhibitions, presented every two years. The most recent of these is the 2025 exhibition Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: The Floating World (on view from May 31 to September 21). This immersive experience transports visitors to the lively and refined world of 17th-century Edo-period Japan. The exhibit vividly captures a time when Edo (present-day Tokyo) thrived as the cultural and economic heart of the nation, defined by its devotion to the arts, nature, and the pleasures of daily life. A highlight of the exhibition is the U.S. debut of the Museum Galleries - Chiossone Collection, featuring a remarkable 70-piece selection of ukiyo-e masterpieces. Among these are 53 original paintings and woodblock prints by renowned artists such as Hokusai and Hiroshige, alongside 17 beautifully crafted objects. Together, they offer a captivating window into Japan's "floating world." The MAC consistently excels in delivering these world-class exhibitions. The experience is not only visually stunning but also engaging and educational. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to enhance your visit. Last, but not the least, there is a very nice gift shop there. We bought some cute Japanese noodles and rice bowls with the "floating world" art theme from the gift shop. Attending an art exhibition there is truly a joy, and we look forward to each new one.

Was finally able to find it by searching McAninch Arts Center (MAC). The exhibit is cool, loved the eki (train station) stamps for the passport you're given. I wasn't expecting much and it lived up to expectations. After experiencing it do I think it was worth the $27/per person admission? Not for me. But it's still cool and definitely worth a visit if you're an art enthusiast.

The Asiago pasta with sun dried tomatoes was popular and went fast. The salad and fruit were fresh, and the sandwiches and pin wheels were delicious. The cheesy eggs were fluffy and the bacon and sausage were crispy and juicy! The yogurt parfait reminded me of what McDonald's use to have, but better. The dessert table had an assortment of cookies, dessert loaves, brownies, kolaches, and chocolates. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Promptly cleared our plates once we were done, as well as a making sure the buffet was in order. I'd come back here and dine at the restaurant for brunch with the girls. Definitely a beautiful venue to keep in mind.

I looked at several other golf clubs and nature arboretums, and Reserve 22 had the best selection BY FAR! We chose a delicious selection of salads, pasta, chicken, salmon, and fruit, and all of my guests RAVED about how delicious it was. We added on a dessert package (came with 6 different desserts!) and the chef accommodated my request to swap out one of the desserts for red velvet cake. Delicious! The other venues we considered had so few options and they looked fairly basic by comparison. This was an easy choice. 3. Price. Compared with other venues (and considering how the food selections paled in comparison), Reserve 22 was better for the budget and yet delivered and EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE! Angela S. was a pleasure to work with, and she was always available to meet and discuss our ideas. Brian oversaw food/beverages on the day of our event, and he was outstanding. Both of them made the day sensational! I can't recommend Reserve 22 enough, and I'll definitely tell my friends the same!

I never knew that behind two commercial buildings stood the DuPage Club and right next to it is Millhurst. So I invited my friend and we went in for lunch. When you walk in you realize that this place was definitely a Gentlemen's club before it was a restaurant. I'm not referring to a strip joint either, I'm talking about dark wood, leather, cigars and a stiff drink kind of club (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentlemen%27s_club). We were the only two in there for lunch that day, I guess at that time I was one of the few who had seen that little sign. We shared some southwest egg rolls for an appetizer and then we each got a burger. The egg rolls were so good! I haven't had an egg roll that good since Cheesecake Factory changed their menus! For our meals we ordered the Millhurst Burger -Sautéed Onions, and Mushrooms, Cheddar Cheese, Garlic Mayo Dressing, Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun and the Texan Burger - Texas BBQ Sauce, American Cheese, Bacon and Fried Onions. Both of the burgers surprisingly exceeded my expectations! As far as service, it was ok. Nothing outstanding but I wasn't complaining about it. The website says they're only open for lunch, so the mystery dinner other Yelpers have written about must have been a special event. Regardless, this is a great place for lunch.

This is one of those "get your ass out of the chair and go talk to people." So another tip here is you should have a big enough group to take over a whole table. That way you can all have fun together. We went with a total of two people, and at the table of 8 there were 4 people that never left their seats and one person at the table isn't supposed to leave because they are a suspect. The food was surprisingly good for "banquet food." Drinks weren't in line with what we thought and service was great! If you think you are going to have fun running around talking to people and getting clues, then you'll have fun here. If that's not for you then maybe try something else, this isn't just a play it's meant to be interactive. "Choose your own fun level"
