And I said something like yeah I know you didn't just swim here. Thought we had a good chat etc. Two months later I am supposedly racist and banned from there. And the chef that barred entry said he had heard me say something about "swimming here," me sitting at a table while he was in the kitchen. Preposterous! Wowie prickly weird, I won't be going to any of their family restaurants and am telling everyone too.

Eventually a menu was brought to our table, and we put in an order for beer. Turns out, half of the items on the menu were not available. When we did figure out an order, more items were made not available. We settled on a NY style pizza. We did not get the toppings we ordered. Good news: the crust was very good, and worth another try! Even the leftovers were delicious the next day - not all pizza can do that. They do not know how to pour a Guinness - which is too bad, because that is a favorite beer of ours. The place has a very casual atmosphere, and many locals come and go and seem to have great conversation and know each other's business. Overall, a place with great potential, especially for regulars.
