Stopped in for food and beer while out Christmas shopping. Service was friendly and quick. Great staff! Ordered beers, the breaded tenderloin with tots, and my wife had a cheeseburger and tots. All the food had great flavor and large portions. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The Corner Bar is located on the corner of Epler and Meridian Street, which is just West of 135. The parking lot fills up quickly, but you can park along side of the parking lot for a few unmarked spaces. The restaurant is basically divided into 3 rooms or sections. The bar area, the dining area, and deck space. During the pandemic, they built a large deck on the side of the restaurant, and it's enclosed with the all-weather enclosure. It is too hot inside for us to sit in today. We sat in the bar area, which was almost full. Our server, Angel S., delivered menus within minutes of us sitting down. She didn't miss a beat all evening. Drinks were refilled quickly, food orders were taken correctly as requested, and our check was delivered timely. The menu offers many sandwiches, reubens, tenderloin, catfish sandwiches, fish n' chips, and burgers, to name a few of which are highly recommended. Pizzas and dinner are another good option. They don't offer a lunch menu but instead have a daily lunch special. My husband had the daily special, a cheese burger and fries, minus cheese, and it did not disappoint. It was slightly overcooked from how he requested but still fine for him. A generous order of delicious fries accompanied the burger. I ordered the Blackened Catfish sandwich on a hoagie bun with onions rings ($1.29 upgrade) prepared just as I requested. The catfish was truly delicious, and I appreciate the chef understands that blackened doesn't mean burnt. The seasoning covered the fish well, the fish was tender, flaky, and I so enjoyed my lunch. The atmosphere was a room full of friends enjoying their meals and beverages with lots of laughter. The music was great, classic rock n' roll with a juke box in the room and played at a conversation volume. Great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. Recommend for a drink, lunch, or dinner.

It's been several months since I stopped in. New bartender with a totally friendly attitude. Offered me beer chips to make a bucket special. ;)

First time there, it definitely won't be the last. Employees were super friendly and the service was top notch. My companion got a bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious and actually filled him up! I got the shrimp basket and fries, and again, it was great.

Stopped in here after looking for an Asian grocery store in the area, and after my hunt, I was starved. Saw they were close by and didn't expect much, but I saw delicious, greasy looking food photos on the yelp page, so I tried my luck. I was not disappointed! I was there on a Friday for their boneless wing special and they served up a heaping pile of wings and tots. They were a little saucy but that's not a complaint! Service was fast and they kept checking on me!

I would've rather grown a chicken, killed it for some wings, made a hat with its feathers and made sensory toys with its eyes The buns were probably the best part. The lettuce was cut smaller than you could ever imagine, the chicken had a good amount but tasted like it was drowned in Franks Red Hot Sauce. The tomato was a tomato This isn't all the restaurant though. The other times I visited here were AMAZING The times I sat in the big room were good because, there were TVs to save my boredom, the built in chargers were neat, and the food was just better! We sat on the heated patio and it was so nice and warm. We split the huge Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer. I've had this before at the Castleton location and it was as good as I remember. Both the nacho cheese raspberry wasabi mustard are good too. The snack size boneless wings are enough for a meal for sure. I went with the Hermaican flavor. They smelled so good. There wasn't a lot of spice so I think I prefer the No-Way and Three mile Island sauces I've had in the past. I also would've liked more celery and carrots but that's just a personal preference and most people are probably more than ok with just a veggie garnish. FORMER EMPLOYEE HONEST REVIEW *long* If you're thinking…read moreabout working here--GOOD LUCK LASTING!! * Should have known it was going to be unprofessionally ran from the hiring interview. The interview wasn't very much to talk about nor structured from the beginning like the whole entire establishment. I came in filled out an app. & kid you not got hired on in May as the ONLY EXPERIENCED bartender that started working maybe 4-5 days later. I then silently gave myself until the end of August to get a feel of the new place and also find something else if I wasn't feeling it. I fully learned the 4 "signature drinks" in 2 days they weren't complicated at all but I will say that the bar itself was FILTHY!!! I would always keep moving by constantly cleaning, decluttering and reorganizing the bar, front beer cooler & even the 2 servers stations in the front kitchen during my shifts, THINKING it would stay organized & stocked for the sake of making everyone's shift easier. I WAS INDEED WRONG!! No one restocked for the next "team" member they just took, used & forgot about replacing. Yet their whole motto is "Team work this-- Team that" ... THERE WAS NO TYPE OF TEAM EFFORT EVER! It was always 1-2 people doing THE MOST to pick up the slack of everyone else and then when problems as such were addressed everyone wanted to be in their feelings about what was said so nothing and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING got solved! The management ISN'T even REAL MANAGEMENT! It always seemed as if she had waaay too much on her plate trying to juggle too many responsibilities & personal relationship friendship side quests at once knowing she wasn't fully equipped of handling it all by herself. Hell after 3 months there I was still waiting on official food menus!!!! WHY!? How can you be the front of the house manager, scheduling coordinator, DJ & a social Drunk at the same time??? NO STRUCTURE! They didn't have a bar lead, servers lead, supervisor or trainer for any of the positions so everyone was in there just doing what they wanted to! The owner claimed that they were looking for "EXPERIENCED" bartenders and servers but every other hired bartender over poured and couldn't make something as simple as a lemon drop martini CORRECTLY! & some of the servers... honey, ALWAYS LOST AS F--K & barely cleaned! The front of the house would look horrible during events, I'm talking cups, finished food plates and trash on every table in sight. When I tell you that place is DIRTY, I really mean that that place is DIRTY! & I don't know why almost all the employees there are so content with working around filth looking the other way when there are visible crumbs on the floor etc. Gnats and ants around the bar, flys and all...THE KITCHEN MANAGER MOPED THE KITCHEN WITH THE SAME MOP/MOP WATER THE SERVERS USED FOR THE BATHROOM!!!!!!!!! Because she was "Ready To Go" -- Trifling. I brought that up to management & she shook it off like that wasn't a big deal. BABY.. I don't eat where I sh-- at & neither should you! The other hired bartender never properly cleaned ANYTHING for that matter it was always something sticky on the bar top, fermenting beer in the draft beer catcher, gnats in uncovered liquor bottles, build up in on and around the used blender, and lipstick on the rims of glasses that I ONCE AGAIN had to go behind and clean! MANAGEMENT never addressed that as a big deal either. Everybody there was basically fighting for their own piece of money on certain shifts because it was no hostess to keep a rotation, and they would over staff on the weekends. It was never any team work, just over time jealous vibes were given. Even the manager talked behind the backs of the employees to other employees as if it would never get back around to who was being talked about. Just SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!! Yet smiled right in the face of who she was just talking about-- WEIRD ACTIVITY. If you're thinking about working here, again... GOOD LUCK! Get your own feel of the place. Protect your peace and give yourself a time limit as I did. This places "structure" is a mess and that's an understatement! They can make it look as nice as they want in there but rotten golden apples do exist! -- CATCH YOU ALL IN THE FIELD.

Recently visited Fowling Warehouse for a work team building event. I had no idea what to expect…read more Parking was a bit of a mystery. There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.
