Pete handled all of the communication and I received responses very quickly. I requested several invoices from Pete before we booked and Pete was very patient while my wife and I settled on a package that was within our budget. Communication was still great after that. They were on time and ready to go when cocktail hour started. Pete and Luis were behind the bar and cleared up the initial rush pretty quickly and there was almost no wait for drinks the rest of the night. The drinks were stiff (they didn't skimp on the booze) and delicious and our guests enjoyed their beverages. We really feel that For Real Bartenders exceeded out expectations with prices that are more than reasonable. We got great value and would highly recommend these guys for your future bartender needs!

Saved our Wedding! I contacted Jessy and Sam at 5:26 pm, 3 days before our wedding, because our…read moreprevious bartender had to cancel due to an emergency. I was devastated and overwhelmed and didn't know what I was going to do. During our initial call, they helped me brainstorm a cocktail menu that truly represented both my wife and me in a way that was fun and authentic. Jessy asked me for a copy of our invitation and said she would work on a menu and give us a call back. Within TWO HOURS, she texted me a copy of the Menu that they had created for us, and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. She also let us know she had already ordered the garnishes for the drink and would be receiving them the following day. I did not have to worry about cups, syrups, or anything else; they completely took care of it. During our wedding, they showed up right on time to set up, and by the time our guests got there, they had the beautiful cocktails displayed on their bar so our guests could see the masterfully crafted cocktails and mocktails that they had created. Everyone at our wedding raved about how fun, engaging, and quick they were, and what a great experience it was to interact with them. The cherry on top for us was when everyone was too shy and did not want to come up and dance with us; Sam took it upon himself to come and show us his dance moves, and Jessy joined him, bringing a smile to our faces and completely lightening the mood and our anxiety. There are not enough words that can express my gratitude and overall happiness from having worked with The Boozy Bengals, and I highly recommend them as your next event bartenders!

I've had the pleasure of working with 1st String Bartending as a wedding coordinator then later as…read morea bride. 1st String was one of our preferred vendors while I was working at the venue, BRICK. Richard and his staff are THE BEST. They always came prepared with the best attitudes and were flexible which is key on wedding and event days when things may not go as scheduled. I felt confident recommending 1st String to clients because they were always reliable, not to mention affordable with top notch service. When it came my time for a wedding, 1st String was my first choice. Our venue was in LA so I got quotes from bar services up there but just didn't feel comfortable booking with anyone else. At our venue, new bar services must be vetted by the venue team and the business must come in for a walk through along with providing insurance. Richard was nothing but accommodating and took the steps to be an approved vendor. We booked a tasting at Salt Drift Pointe. We wanted to include Filipino ingredients like calamansi, pandan, and mango into our cocktails. The tasting experience was so fun and we were able to narrow it down to a Calamansi Mango Margarita and Calamansi Whiskey Sour. Richard also provided a full shopping list for us tailored to our bar menu. 1st String's bar package is customizable which is amazing since every event is different. We were able to choose disposable cups for the bar and glassware for the guest tables for water. I must mention that 1st String does more than bar service - they also offer event staffing. Our caterer could only do a drop off so we hired 1st String staff to run the buffet, bus, and clean. Our venue was pretty strict and Richard and his team did a phenomenal job with everything tasked to them. We can't thank them enough for ensuring everything ran smoothly and that everyone had a fun time. Seriously, they're the best!

Unfortunately they could not handle the demand of our crowd through out the evening. We booked them for 300 guests and they ensured us the staff would be good to service them. We had 272 attendees so slightly less than we anticipated. The issue came about 1 hour into the event when we were faced with 30-40 waits for drinks. It continued to go downhill as they ran out of vodka and beers before 8:00, we started at 6:00. When I reached out to speak with them on it they did not call me back. I paid the invoice in full and then followed up with an email. They responded back with what appears to be a template email for complaints. Explaining how good they are and that it must just be that our guests like to drink. I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for your bar services and if anyone from First String reads this, I would recommend not being rude in correspondence about issues and taking ownership instead.

First of all, Trevor was an ABSOLUTE angel to work with. From the very beginning, he exhibited professionalism, amazing communication, and was so charismatic. Despite how chaotic wedding planning can be, I had zero worries when it came to our bar service. I'm not super well-versed with cocktails, so when I asked Trevor for expertise, he was more than willing to help me and my husband find drinks that were customized to us and our preferences while keeping our guests in mind. We had multiple calls to really fine tune our bar menu. He also made himself readily available to answer any of our questions when needed. You can really tell how passionate he is for his work and it definitely reflects in his drinks and the kindness of the staff. He was genuinely excited for our wedding! During the planning process, I got to have a tasting for the possible drinks for our bar menu. I had a great experience doing this with my friends and family. I got to meet Trevor in person and he showed me exactly how he makes each drink. Not only that, but he was constantly asking for my feedback on each drink, and would fine-tune them to our preferences. I've never experienced a bar service so personable before! Swift & Granite did an absolutely fantastic job during the wedding day as well. Trevor made my husband and I feel like VIP. Right after the ceremony, they brought each of our signature drinks down to the ceremony site so that we were able to try each one. The drinks were seriously THE BEST cocktails I have ever had. Not only that, but the mocktails were absolutely delicious as well; we got the french martini and strawberry matcha (SO GOOD). The drinks really elevated the feel of our wedding and truly made it feel like a luxury event. The staff did an amazing job of keeping up with the demand of our guests. They did a wonderful job, and I still have guests contacting me and telling me how delicious the drinks were.
