Hands down THE...BEST...BARTENDERS...EVER. We hired them for our daughter's wedding and not only did we have a large crowd (230 guests) but a lot of drinkers. These guys had lines at the bar all night long and crushed it. The drinks were amazing and the delivery quick. Lines were moving fast throughout the entire event. On top of that they were super fun and handled the crowd respectfully. highly recommend and hope to book them again soon. read more

This is our third time in a row in working with Sequoia Bar Car! Such a great experience each time. The dynamic duo, Gabriel and Christina are very professional and punctual. For our annual client appreciation party, we got to choose three seasonal drinks to be served along with some beer, wine and champagne. Our company provided the alcohol and Sequoia provided the vibes. The bar car is so cute and rustic, providing our party area with an all around festive feel. Each bar tender is friendly and helpful in making and serving drinks to our patrons. I am always happy to support a small, local OB business as well! I can't wait for the next Holiday event so we may welcome back Gabe and Christina! read more

We hired Mobile Intoxicologists for a bachelorette party during our pool day. Christina was absolutely phenomenal. She came early and left past our agreed time. Her bar station was beautifully decorated and she curated 4 cocktails that our bride selected beforehand. Christina was so attentive and made sure everyone enjoyed their drinks including off the agreed menu ones. All drinks were craft cocktails served beautifully. My wife and I had the pleasure of hiring The Sequoia Bar Car for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the outstanding service they provided. From the very beginning, Gabriel and Christina, the bartenders and owners, impressed us with their professionalism and expertise. You can see they put a LOT of time in making sure EVERY aspect of the bar is planned to make your event run smooth and absolutely perfect. They made our wedding really fun!! Before the big day, we had a taste test at their location to finalize our wedding menu, and it was a truly delightful experience. Gabriel and Christina presented us with drinks that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also tasted absolutely amazing. Each beverage was crafted with precision and flair, resembling something you would expect to find at an upscale restaurant. We were blown away by their extensive knowledge of bartending and liquor, which was evident in every sip we took. Note that every drink was made with FRESH ingredients. Choosing the perfect drinks for our Mexican-themed wedding was no easy task, thanks to the incredible selection The Sequoia Bar Car had to offer. In the end, we settled on a combination of Spicy Margaritas, Coconut Margaritas, Berry Mules, Passion Fruit Mai Tais, and a variety of delicious whiskey drinks. During the initial tasting, we were particularly impressed by the creative drink rims, such as the delightful coconut flakes on the Coconut Margarita, Chamoy + Tajin + Jalapeno on/in the Spicy Margarita which added an extra burst of flavor and texture. On the day of our wedding, every drink was presented with the same level of care and attention to detail that we had experienced during the tasting. The drink rims once again made an appearance, and our guests absolutely loved them. From the coconut flakes to other tasty additions, the rims elevated the drinking experience and became a topic of conversation among our friends and family. Aside from their impeccable mixology skills, Gabriel and Christina were an absolute pleasure to work with. They exuded professionalism, yet their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were being served by beloved older siblings. Their passion for their craft was evident in every interaction, and it was contagious. The Sequoia Bar Car team went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly unforgettable. Not only did they arrive early to set up the bar flawlessly at our chosen venue, but they also seamlessly blended in with the festivities. They became an integral part of our wedding, adding an extra layer of joy and celebration. We were overjoyed to see how they effortlessly connected with our guests, making everyone feel welcomed and ensuring that the drinks flowed throughout the night. It has been a month since our wedding, and we are still receiving compliments from friends and family about the exceptional drinks and, in particular, the drink rims served by The Sequoia Bar Car. Their commitment to quality, presentation, and service is unparalleled. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking an extraordinary bartending experience for their special event. Thank you, Gabriel and Christina, for making our wedding a truly unforgettable and spirited celebration. We wish you continued success and look forward to indulging in your remarkable drinks in the future. read more

The Mobile Intoxicologists Were a Hit! Gabe and Christina brought their cool vintage horse trailer bar and awesome warmth and professionalism to the Vazquez Wedding (our Son & DIL's wedding) on April 13, 2024. This wedding was held at a remote location on a ranch in Descanso, CA, for about 100 people...so remote that there was no cell service on the property. A cool day and light showers were forecasted, and showers started about halfway through the reception. From the start, communications and interactions were very friendly, informative, timely, helpful, and supportive. They answered ALL my questions! Our Son and DIL scheduled a tasting and loved all of their wonderful scratch-made cocktails with their fresh ingredients and mixers. Besides the standard, they selected signature versions of the following drinks: Paloma, Margarita, Old Fashioned, and a Berry Mule. They were punctual, and quickly had their amazing cocktails flowing for the guests as the wedding photos etc. were taking place and the mariachis were getting started. Our guests had so many compliments for Gabe and Christina - they sure went above and beyond to add to a great time had by all! We give Gabe and Christina excellent ratings on all aspects of our experience with them. No doubt we highly recommend The Mobile Intoxicologists and Sequoia Bar Car! read more

Exquisite craft cocktails delivered on point with flavor and balance. Spicy marg-pleasantly piquant. Expresso martini-creamy. Phenomenal service-leaving us an extra pitcher and ice for the remainder of our party! (our ice machine broke.) Christina included additional excellent restaurant/cocktail recommendations in SD. After visiting those restaurants-couldn't agree more! They were nearly the same recommendations as the local Del Mar family I stayed with. read more

Gabriel and Christina are THE BEST! We found Sequoia Bar Car here on Yelp after doing a search for bartenders for our St. Patrick's Day party and, while they weren't the cheapest or the most convenient (we're in Orange County, they're based in San Diego), they made the decision to go with them an absolute no-brainer and they were worth every penny. Their responsiveness was amazing, their thoroughness was appreciated and their creativity was refreshing. They laid out their plan, with a full menu of Irish-themed specialty cocktails, so it was very clear what they'd provide. At the party, they showed up early to get everything set up perfectly, then, during the party, not only did they mix up wonderful drinks, they were super engaging with the guests, so it almost felt like they were part of the group rather than simply paid help. Bottom line, if you want a great bar service for your next event, look no further. Sequioa Bar Car is who you want! Cheers! read more

These guys were amazing! They worked with us to pick out just the sorts of drinks we'd like, even though me and my hubs are huge drinkers. We LOVED the look of both drinks too and our guests STILL talk about them today. Even though we didn't have the bar cart, it worked out better since our guests were closer to everything! They were the sweetest people too and we had a ton of fun talking/planning with them over the phone. Highly recommend this crew!! read more

Wow! If I could give 11 out of 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend Gabe and the Sequoia Bar Car for absolutely any event you're throwing. Gabe was such a pleasure to work with before the event--suggesting signature cocktails and helping me figure out how much liquor to get. During the event, he was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. His drinks were amazing--the rosemary gin gimlet and blackberry whiskey mule were delicious and his off-menu whiskey sour knocked it out of the park. Beyond great drinks, the bar was absolutely stunning with drinks written out on chalkboards and the whole nine. Gabe obviously loves what he does and was such a pleasure to have at my 40th birthday party. We are already thinking up future events planned entirely around having the Sequoia Bar Car there! Absolutely love Gabriel and Christina - they were a joy to work with! My husband is a liquor connoisseur and is very picky when it comes to his drinks and how they are made. When we met Sequoia Bar Car at a bridal event, they had a book of drinks they make, but were also open to making the drinks we like, in our style. We really enjoyed talking to them and discussing the possibility of bartending at our wedding and immediately booked them. We then had a drink tasting with them so they can show us a few of their drinks and we can show them ours, and they delivered our drinks perfectly! They were very easy to work with and communicated well what we needed to purchase for the wedding and really helped ease our stressed out minds. They made sure to cater to us regardless of the line forming and they were both in high spirits, despite the truly unforeseen storm on our wedding day. Would definitely recommend Sequoia Bar Car to anyone in need of a bartender for their event! read more
