Outstanding professional bartnders. They served us at our 50th High school reunion. They were upbeat, outgoing and worked well together as a team. Great job gentleman. MJH Scottsdale Arizona read more

For Real Bartenders served drinks at our wedding at River Garden in Vista. From the start communication was great. Pete handled all of the communication and I received responses very quickly. I requested several invoices from Pete before we booked and Pete was very patient while my wife and I settled on a package that was within our budget. Communication was still great after that. They were on time and ready to go when cocktail hour started. Pete and Luis were behind the bar and cleared up the initial rush pretty quickly and there was almost no wait for drinks the rest of the night. The drinks were stiff (they didn't skimp on the booze) and delicious and our guests enjoyed their beverages. We really feel that For Real Bartenders exceeded out expectations with prices that are more than reasonable. We got great value and would highly recommend these guys for your future bartender needs! read more

My husband and I got married at the end of June. For our wedding bar setup, we had the pleasure of working with Angela. She was so sweet and friendly. My family and friends raved about her and enjoyed interacting with her. By the end of the night , my mom wanted to adopt her! Thank you Angela for helping to make our big day even more special. We couldn't have asked for a better bartender read more

Great service and professional bartenders!!! Easy packages to choose from and very competitive pricing for an amazing experience!!!

Top notch experience working with Pete! Used his services to bar tend on the beach (actually on the sand). Pete went above and beyond to make everything special and our guests raved about him/the drinks. It was ALOT of work for Pete to get set up as due to the distance from car to beach location. He showed good time management in knowing how much time he needed for this and kept a positive attitude the entire time. Will definitely be using Pete again in the future and highly rec intent him. read more

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about For Real Bartenders!!!!! Pete was so easy to coordinate and get everything booked with and the team that came to my event was so incredibly fantastic, I had guests coming up all night telling me how amazing the bartenders were! Laura and Angela were SO sweet and SO friendly. The drinks were amazing and they were so quick! There was never a line, even with 120 people at the event! I loved getting to chat with them throughout the night, too. I feel like I could give a compliment for every single aspect of this bartending experience from start to finish but if I did that, this review would be a mile long so I'll wrap it up here. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!! you really made our event run extra perfectly by being so so great to work with. read more

Best drinks I've ever had. Pete was on Time and all of my friends and family had a blast with his staff! I recommend you contacting them. Trust me BTL read more

Pete is amazing! As a wedding planner, I come across a lot of bartenders who are good, but believe me when I say that Pete is exceptional! Super friendly, professional and easy to work with, keeps the drinks and good vibes flowing, and extremely knowledgeable about events + weddings. Highly recommend Pete and his team for any and all events! read more

Amazing mobile bar service, the best attitudes, set ups and of course drinks. It'll be hard to find a company that compares.

Pete is THE BEST. So kind, professional, engaging, and talented. I've hired him for two parties at my home and everyone always talks about how amazing Pete was. Thank you Pete - you are a real one and we always love working with you! Highly recommend!!!! read more

They bartended my wedding and everyone enjoyed their service. Stiff drinks and they were quick. Setup was quick and they were on time. No issues with cleanup either. However, we didn't want our guests to pay anything for our hosted bar and they had requested $350 per bartender (on top of a $30 hourly rate per bartender to have them there). Our planner negotiated a better rate for us, which we thought was still a lot but we wanted to just be over it as we were still dealing with it the day of the wedding. We asked for them to not leave a tip jar (which they did) or accept tips from our guests. We found out that they were still accepting tips from our guests after we had already tipped them. This was not the experience we paid for. Prices look good up front but bad business practices FORREAL. I would not recommend them. read more

We loved For Real Bartenders! Highly recommend! We will definitely use them again! Our bartender was prompt, fun, made great drinks and the whole service was surprisingly affordable. read more

My wedding was in September with a guest list of 147ish people. My estimate is that almost 2/3 of them were drinkers. Pete and his bartender kept the line moving all night and friendly to my guests. My wedding was one of the weddings postponed in 2020 and Pete had no problem rescheduling me. He also worked WITH my budget and was communicative the whole process. I really appreciated him working with my budget and also adjusting total amount of people when the numbers went from 180 to 147 a few weeks shy of my wedding. And when I asked for clarification or if he could change one of the brands of beer, he did it with ease. My wedding planner did run into some issues with how informal some things were done (like no terms for contract), however I'm glad it all worked out ok. I think he's just a take it or leave it kind of guy, no frills in between. I would recommend him to other people! read more

We booked them for our wedding and they were amazing, the two bartenders we had were kind and very good at their craft. Highly recommend!

We are so glad that our wedding planner introduced us to Pete and the For Real Bartenders team. Pete and his team were incredibly friendly and professional. Even though our planner worked with Pete for the logistics, whenever I had a specific question for Pete, he would respond immediately. Our guests loved all the drinks -- and they definitely had a great time! Thank you so much for being part of our wedding night and making it a wonderful night. 100% would recommend them if you need any bar services! read more

Wedding was cancelled multiple times due to COVID. For Real Bartenders was the ONLY vendor to either not automatically cancel and refund or allow us to cancel and refund. Have emails saying they are still doing events all over and it's our fault for not just having a wedding. Very telling from a company that does food / beverage handling that they do not seem to care about spreading diseases and cleanliness. Venue, caterer, cake baker, photographer, table rentals, tux rentals etc all either refunded without us asking or once we asked. Seems they would rather keep a couple hundred bucks over customer service or helping stop the spread of covid. read more

For real bartenders were the MVP of my wedding! To start, Pete was extremely helpful, responsive and organized when it came to the planning process for my event. He stayed in contact and was available to chat as needed. Angela and Laura were extremely kind, professional, and fast! They were serving about 180 people during my wedding and they did a fantastic job managing the line and pouring EXCELLENT drinks. My guests were so impressed by these women, I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I received on their service! I am so thankful for For Real Bartenders and highly recommend for you wedding or event! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! xoxox read more

A huge thank you to For Real Bartenders. They were one of my vendors at my wedding! Pete was there throughout the entire wedding process and answered all my questions and concerns. They provided everything including the glassware and we didn't have to worry about anything! The drinks were amazing. Our signature cocktails were margaritas and mules. They even offered mocktails to family members who were not drinking. Everyone had such a great time. We really appreciate all the time and effort you and the bartenders put in to make my wedding a day that Anthony and I will never forget! I would recommend them 100% to anyone looking to have a great cocktails and real bartenders at their wedding!!! read more

I understand why you are #1 on the yelp page! I simply requested a quote online for an event my company is holding for our top investors a month from now and received a great reply from Pete. He stated they are triple booked for the evening I requested and thus were not able to accommodate on the date, however, my business was important and they were willing to work with any future request. It is top notch service to have quick replies and respectful ones at that. Definitely will keep trying with this business, I have heard GREAT things! Thanks Pete! read more

For Real Bartenders are legit!!! Our bar service for our wedding was the first thing we squared away, not just because drinks are one of the most important parts of a wedding, but also because Pete is a boss with efficiency and communication. He emailed us back after our initial inquiry within 24 hours or less and made the process super easy because he's incredibly professional and knows his stuff. The day of our wedding, he and his crew kept our guests happy and were super friendly. I cannot recommend For Real Bartenders enough and we will be using them again the next time we have an event that requires alcohol which is pretty much every event we'll plan for the rest of our lives :). Thank you again, Pete and the crew...you're the best! read more

Hired them for my wedding this past October 2021. Paid for one bartender and somehow two showed up. What a bonus! there was zero line with two since there were about 75/100 guests consuming alcohol for the evening. Pete was super responsive from the start (via both cell and e-mail) and very helpful creating a theme signature cocktail for the night: spicy mango margarita (habanero). The guys were punctual and very friendly! Thank you! read more

I hired For Real Bartenders recently for a big birthday party. They came recommended from a friend and they did certainly not disappoint! Pete (principal) contacted me prior to my event with a check list of questions about the location, party size, particular requests, etc. From that point on, they were completely on top of everything. The set up and break down of the bar itself (they bring their own bar) was totally seamless and self-sufficient. At first, I thought I had to supply all the alcohol and they would store it, keep it cold, mix it and serve it, but that was not the case. For Real Bartenders is a full service, turnkey bar & bartending outfit! They provided everything, literally. All the popular spirits (and you can special requests other not-so-common ones) and a wide variety of drink mixers. Great selection and range of local beers and wines from boutique vineyards. In addition to the beverages, they supply the cups, straws, glassware, napkins, fruit & garnish, and the ICE! Once the party started, they were fun and engaging with the guests, offering up drink suggestions and info. I got several comments and compliments from our party guests about the "topnotch" bar service. Overall, working with For Real Bartenders for my party was everything I wanted and hoped it to be. They provided timely and professional communications throughout the process, both pre-and-post event, and I give them my strongest and most complete recommendation for a service of this kind. read more

I have had an amazing experience with Pete and his team at For Real Bartenders and would highly recommend them for any event. I used them for a charity event benefiting kids with cancer and he was very accommodating and worked with us every step of the way, even when dealing with our constant changes. He was very professional, responsive and knowledgeable with regards to what was needed for the bar based on our size and audience. His staff was very friendly, on-time, helpful, and quick to make drinks so we did not have long lines for our guests who attended. They made great drinks, and everyone was very pleased! I would encourage you to reach out to them if you are in need of bartending services for your event! read more

Our daughter recently got married in San Diego and she hired Pete to provide the bar experience at Luce on Kettner for 160 guests. From the moment we contacted him to make some changes to the contract to the running of the event, Pete and his staff were incredible. As a destination wedding, they provided everything to make the evening a huge success from the champagne toast to the open bar. There was never a line, they were kind, fun and great at serving. We would highly recommend them for any event in San Diego. read more

We hired Pete and his team for our wedding at the end of March. Our original wedding was in October 2020 and we had to reschedule several times, Pete and his team were more than accommodating, excellent communicators and very professional. At the event they were they were very friendly, super fast with all our drinks and never for a moment didn't look every bit welcoming. We now have our go-to bartenders for every future event! We used FRB to celebrate a milestone birthday. Pete was very professional. He showed up early to set up, was very respectful , personable and poured awesome craft cocktails. My wedding was at an outdoor venue in San Diego in November 2018, and we used For Real Bartenders for a bartender (Tony) and server (Shanti). Across the board, they were both fantastic! The owner Pete was not only very prompt, but he was extremely helpful in moving the process forward. For Real Bartenders offer great packages, depending on the type of bar you would like -- whether it's BYOB and they are only supplying staff... or the full bar package. During our wedding, both Tony and Shanti were (to no surprise) well received by our guests and other vendors. We had an incident arise at the venue that made the working conditions for Tony in the bar area less than ideal. Nevertheless, he maintained professionalism and was a trooper throughout it all (we can't thank him enough!). For Real Bartenders are not only affordable, but their staff is also fantastic at their job and fun to work with! I would recommend them to anyone needing bartendering services. Thank you! read more

I would highly recommend For Real Bartenders for your event. We hired them for a 50th birthday party for 40 guests and they were excellent. We kept him very busy and cocktails were delicious : ) read more

Pete is outstanding, while I can't speak to his bar tending just yet, I can speak to his professionalism and responsiveness. I have been trying to navigate hosting some sort of wedding since my original date last year, and every time I have reached out to Pete he is very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend For Real Bartenders for your corporate or personal events. Pete DePalmo , the owner and his team were incredible. Guest at our agency's weekend fundraiser loved their team. They were so professional, attentive to the needs of our guest and helped our agency create a special vibe. It was great to have a professional bar service that took care of everything . I appreciated all the communication prior and during the event. Our event coordinators said they were so easy to work with. Great customer service all the way around. Cheers to For Real Bartenders! I can't recommend For Real Bartenders highly enough. They go above and beyond for all of their events. I have had the pleasure of working with Pete for years now and each and every event has been amazing with FRB involved. Pete and Tony did a fantastic job at my wife's 40th birthday party w/ 200 guests. They set up two wells and even though we went though a massive amount of alcohol (10 liters of vodka alone), there was never a line. In fact several friends commented how much they enjoyed the fact there was never a line. Maybe that is why so much liquor was consumed! Thankfully everyone took Uber. They cleaned up their area and packed up any leftovers perfectly making it easy for me to load-out. I'd definitely use them again. read more

We booked Pete's crew as a bartending service for our company Christmas party on 12/16/2022. Communication with Pete leading up to the event was professional and prompt. His bartenders showed up with plenty of time to set-up and were prepared with everything they needed and all items they stated they would have; even all the drink "extras" that make it fun, and plastic glassware. They were friendly and fun and made great mixed drinks. They were the better-priced company of the 3 quotes I obtained, but the better price did not mean lack in quality! I would recommend this company to anyone! read more

For Real Bartenders did my first daughters wedding and were amazing, so we had to have them back again for my other daughters wedding this weekend. Again, perfect kind service from Pete with amazing drinks. He is so fast there was never a line, and yet he still crafts each cocktail with style as each guest orders. I noticed when they ran out of tonic Pete quickly suggested alternative cocktails that our guests loved more than the G & T they were all ordering. Not that both of my daughters are married I wont need Pete again for a wedding, but would recommend him for any events you have. I did compare pricing and he was the best with the best service. Do opt for real glass, it is just a bit more $ and makes it much more classy. read more
