I requested several invoices from Pete before we booked and Pete was very patient while my wife and I settled on a package that was within our budget. Communication was still great after that. They bartended my wedding and everyone enjoyed their service. Stiff drinks and they were quick. Setup was quick and they were on time. No issues with cleanup either. However, we didn't want our guests to pay anything for our hosted bar and they had requested $350 per bartender (on top of a $30 hourly rate per bartender to have them there). Our planner negotiated a better rate for us, which we thought was still a lot but we wanted to just be over it as we were still dealing with it the day of the wedding. We asked for them to not leave a tip jar (which they did) or accept tips from our guests. We found out that they were still accepting tips from our guests after we had already tipped them. This was not the experience we paid for. Prices look good up front but bad business practices FORREAL. I would not recommend them. read more

My wedding was in September with a guest list of 147ish people. My estimate is that almost 2/3 of them were drinkers. Pete and his bartender kept the line moving all night and friendly to my guests. My wedding was one of the weddings postponed in 2020 and Pete had no problem rescheduling me. He also worked WITH my budget and was communicative the whole process. I really appreciated him working with my budget and also adjusting total amount of people when the numbers went from 180 to 147 a few weeks shy of my wedding. And when I asked for clarification or if he could change one of the brands of beer, he did it with ease. My wedding planner did run into some issues with how informal some things were done (like no terms for contract), however I'm glad it all worked out ok. Wedding was cancelled multiple times due to COVID. For Real Bartenders was the ONLY vendor to either not automatically cancel and refund or allow us to cancel and refund. Have emails saying they are still doing events all over and it's our fault for not just having a wedding. Very telling from a company that does food / beverage handling that they do not seem to care about spreading diseases and cleanliness. Venue, caterer, cake baker, photographer, table rentals, tux rentals etc all either refunded without us asking or once we asked. Pete (principal) contacted me prior to my event with a check list of questions about the location, party size, particular requests, etc. From that point on, they were completely on top of everything. At first, I thought I had to supply all the alcohol and they would store it, keep it cold, mix it and serve it, but that was not the case. All the popular spirits (and you can special requests other not-so-common ones) and a wide variety of drink mixers. Great selection and range of local beers and wines from boutique vineyards. In addition to the beverages, they supply the cups, straws, glassware, napkins, fruit & garnish, and the ICE! Once the party started, they were fun and engaging with the guests, offering up drink suggestions and info.
