I attended a wedding and enjoyed the bar service from Hello Penny Bar! The drinks were delicious and refreshing! The decor was adorable and I love how they set up the boho chairs in front of the bar. I'd definitely hire them for my next event! read more

Hello Penny Bar was amazing! We hired them for our wedding near Palm Springs in September and the bar was a hit! Communications with Craig & Keaton was swift and easy. They responded to my questions promptly and offered solutions to my concerns. What I like about Hello Penny Bar is the variety of services you can add onto your package. You can add cups, water for your guests, ice, hot cocoa & coffee and even a boho lounge area. This is helpful when you don't want to buy & it's one less thing to bring and worry about. They also share a list of drinks you can choose from and will provide a grocery list which specifies the qty of alcohol you will need for the amount of guests. And did I mention that their setup is extremely unique and cute?! Craig & Keaton was also very friendly in person! Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding & making it memorable for us and our guests! Excuse us for the late review as we finally got back into the flow of things :) Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for a mobile bar for your wedding or event, look no further! I'm a Master Certified Wedding Planner and have been in the industry for over 10 years, so I know when a vendor is great, and I've gotta say, Hello Penny Bar is probably the best mobile bar I've worked with so far. Not only are they super responsive and communicative leading up to the event (which is super helper when trying to nail down details leading up to the big day), but they are also SO amazing to work with on the day-of. They are fun, friendly, professional, and go the extra mile to make the client happy. So if you're looking for a mobile bar, these are your guys...you won't be disappointed! read more

The Hello Penny mobile bar was a breeze to work in. As a bartender it was easy to maneuver inside and it was well set up to serve from. The owners were great and very helpful showing us exactly what we needed to know. I would definitely recommend them and their bar for any event! read more

If I could give 20 stars I would! Hello Penny was a huge hit at my wedding, arrived on time, with bar supplies as promised. It made everything fun, the bartenders were awesome and worth every penny. The hot coco/coffee/and tea bar at the end of the night was the perfect touch. All of our guests had positive comments. I have no regrets and I would seriously hire Hello Penny Bar again in the future. Thank y'all for the most memorable day ever!! read more

Stop what you're doing and book these guys for your event now. I don't think there is anything better out there. They are crazy fun, super great bartenders, who clearly love working together and what they do. They left an impression on all of our guests and we constantly had friends and family coming up to us raving about their drinks and kindness. We cannot imagine having any other service at our wedding. These guys just worked so perfectly. Thanks for adding so much to our event, guys! read more

First of all, I waited to write this review so that I could really think about what I wanted to say about Hello Penny. I should start by saying that aside from our photographer, Hello Penny was the first vendor we wanted to book for our wedding. We were excited to have them for our event. Unfortunately, they didn't live up to our expectations, far from it. They actually ended up being our biggest regret. I'll start with the most egregious of the things they did first. Number one, when you hire them, part of the deal is that you purchase all of the alcohol and mixers. They send a list and you purchase their recommendations. We actually bought more than they recommended because we wanted to be on the safe side, but less than one hour into the wedding reception we were being told by guests that we were "out of alcohol." How could this even physically be possible? We had purchased two handles of vodka, two handles of rum, two handles of gin, various other liquors, not to mention 3 cases of wine and a keg of beer and two cases of champagne. All this for 100 guests. I will say that a lot of the details of why we ran out of alcohol we found out after the fact over the course of days of friends and guests telling us what happened and what they witnessed or we might have handled some of it differently, but it turns out that these bartenders, one being the owner, yes, the owner of Penny Bar, like to overpour drinks (some drinks were 3/4 full of pure alcohol), hand out entire bottles of alcohol to guests to take to their tables, and best of all, join the guests drinking and doing shots. Not sure how they expected to maintain the integrity of the guests' alcoholic intake while they were drinking themselves, but this is what they apparently chose to do. The fact of them drinking with the guests was reported to us later by many people, not just one or two. We were told an hour into our event that we were out of alcohol so my parents went to talk to the bartenders, one being the owner of the bar and were rudely told "this is a record." So here we are in the middle of our wedding forced to figure out where and how to get more alcohol. Luckily a friend knew about ordering alcohol for delivery through an app so we chose that option and spent hundreds of dollars more to get enough to continue our event, not to mention emptying out our parents' liquor cabinet in the meantime to keep things going. I can't even begin to list everything that they did wrong but suffice it to say we would not recommend them to anyone. We are lucky that no one was hurt and thankfully everyone made it home safely considering the details we found out over the next several days about the over pouring of drinks and bottles of vodka and tequila being handed to guests to take to their tables. They loved telling the guests that "we're the party." I want to let them know that, in fact, no, you are NOT the party. You are a hired vendor being paid to responsibly serve our drinks to guests at OUR party. We were not paying you to drink our alcohol, come unprepared and dressed inappropriately and change midway in the event into proper attire. Yes, that happened, too. To say we were disappointed in Penny Bar is a huge understatement, disgusted is a closer descriptor. The owner needs to grow up and realize where he's at when hired for an event: You are at work, sir. Period. read more

Could this thing get any cuter? I found them on Instagram (isn't that were we find everything nowadays?) I really hoped this thing was just as cute in person, and it didn't disappoint. It was a cold, rainy day but this thing was a ray of sunshine that rolled up with looking so cute with 2 cute bartenders. I handed over my alcohol and they did the rest. Set-up, serving and clean up. Everyone loved the bar and we got so many compliements on it. It was great for pictures and the best thing was it was no hassle at all. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to take their party to the next level. read more

This is such a unique and awesome company. My wedding planner initially suggested I give HPB a shot at bartending my wedding and let me tell you - I am so thankful she told me about them! The planning process was super simple - they knew exactly how much of everything I should get and where to get it! They showed up looking professional (adorable, as well) and served delicious drinks! Everyone was raving about how amazing their jalapeño margaritas were! HPB played a huge part in making my wedding a blast! 10/10 would recommend booking with Hello Penny Bar! Cheers! read more

I found Penny on Instagram and knew I had to book her for my wedding in May. My venue was the Eureka Building in Irvine and was outdoors, so this cute little bar was perfect for the look I was going for. Scott was super communicative and great to work with. He made it so easy for me by even picking up ice and having it stocked for my bartenders. Needless to say, Penny was a hit at our wedding and our bartenders loved working with her. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a mobile bar service for any event! read more

If you want to make your event that much more memorable or special, be sure to hire Hello Penny Bar. They were the first vendor we booked while wedding planning and it was the best decision we ever made. Our guests have been raving about the cute mobile bar and the awesome bartenders. My now-husband and I loved making drinks with these guys during the wedding and all of our guests raved about our special customized drinks. I can't recommend these guys enough. We ordered the right about of alcohol (about ~$2.7k worth of booze for our 180 guests) and we had plenty left over after our event. No need to hire entertainment when you've got these guys. Thank you so much!!! read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about this company, and will for sure be looking to book them again for anything I can in the future. Not only were they incredibly helpful, but also always so sweet and attentive from day one when it came to planning the drinks and hosting our wedding. I was initially so worried I wouldn't find the right bartenders for our wedding since we wanted Christmas themed drinks and most of the bartenders we spoke to had a fixed(and not that great) menu..but they KILLED IT! They asked what I wanted and helped me make a list of everything we needed to get... and let me tell you every.single.drink was amazing, AMAZING. I kept having guests come up to me to tell me how delicious the drinks were. I could seriouly go on and on about how much I love and appreciate these guys, but I think you should find out for yourself. You will not regret it! read more

Was a big hit at my company's happy hour event. Recommended by a friend, we had the venue but not the bar so this worked well and was the perfect size for what we needed. Really friendly two-person staff, my coworkers had nothing but glowing compliments of the bar and drinks served. These guys are awesome! Liability insurance covered, it was nice to have these guys roll in so we were able to focus our attention on other aspects of the event. Highly recommended if you have the need. read more

We hired the Penny Bar as an ice cream truck for my daughters fourth birthday party. It was the best decision ever!! The Penny is so adorable, she literally stopped traffic on the street. It was so fun to have the Penny on site for the party and added a lot of extra panache to our party. Scott (the owner) delivered the Penny and he was great to work with. Scott was very flexible and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend adding the Penny Bar to any even!!! read more

Top-notch bar, top-notch service. We rented the bar and bartenders for our 25 th wedding anniversary/ 50 birthdays. I wasn't expecting full set up, but they loaded up the trailer with all of our purchased alcohol and were ready to go when the party started. Chris and Sean, our bartenders were the life of the party. They were polite, charming and funny. Hellopenny Bar was a hit! Thank you so much! read more
