My only hardship was with some contractors they hired to help us at end of party. They did not match the caliber of event 1013 and were smoking during their contracted time to help and were more concerned with eating our food versus serving it and wrapping it up at the end. She was thorough during our consultation, quickly made changes to our floor plan and was able to adjust our contract as needed. Whitney, our venue supervisor for the day, was able to have everything ready for us. Even with submitting our projected PowerPoint late (morning of), Whitney was able to have it running smoothly. We are very thankful these wonderful ladies were able to make our wedding day go just as planned!

However, for our event we opted to cater from another location, but we took the rest of their offers. Since they frequently do weddings, they have a set up Brides' and Grooms' room in the back. It's a perfect spot for hosts to stash their valuables, change of clothes/shoes, and any other miscellaneous things you'd like. Highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation - make sure you get a couple of great photographers. Your event will be absolutely stunning and I assure you that you'll be really upset if all the photos you have are selfies from your cell phone or ones that your guests take. My only regret of coming here is that I wish I had more and better pictures of the event. All our guests could not stop raving about this place! There were 3 halls to choose from varying in size, each beautiful. We chose the 9th floor because it had an option of adding their lovey suite that is attached to the banquet hall by a private door. I had my wedding reception at this venue a year ago today (November 2024). For about 90 minutes the…read morepower went out in the entire building. My wedding reception was held on the 7th floor. When the power went out, there were guests who were stuck in the elevator... For 90 minutes! The Dallas Fire Department had to come and extricate people from all 4 elevators. Some people were forced to climb up 7 flights of stairs to get to our floor. Other guests ended up leaving the wedding altogether because we just never knew WHEN the lights and power were going to come back on. There was no back up generator or power source that the building could draw from. We were not able to start the wedding reception until AFTER 10pm! There was a quinceañera on another floor, and a 70th birthday party being held on a different floor. Everyone had NO POWER! (To be fair, when my mother came to check out this venue the week before the wedding, she said she had to take the stairs down, b/c the power went out then too - in the middle of the day!!!!) So for over 1 hour, our vendors were not able to serve our 400 wedding guests! I lost an hour of service from every single vendor - which ended up totaling over $12,000 lost. When I contacted the owners of the venue, they refused to take any accountability, saying they were not at fault. They refused to refund us even a fraction of the amount that we were owed. They refused that they owed us anything at all! We spent months trying to work out an agreement / negotiate compensation with the owner, to no avail. Nothing. Not even a dime. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER VENUE FOR YOUR EVENT! IT'S NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY... SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND BOOK YOURSELF A DECENT VENUE. I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. I highly do NOT recommend.
