When I check out a new coffee place, I look for two things: Is the coffee "good" to my taste buds…read more(this one probably goes without saying) and can I comfortably sit and relax long enough to read or have a conversation? Upshot offers both, with a bonus of delicious food. We'd never explored historic Cottleville before, and I immediately appreciated the setting. The surrounding streets and buildings bare a slight resemblance to the charm of Vermont. On a recent nice, near-Spring day, my wife and I knew we had to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Serene with a mild breeze, we would have liked to sit and read for an hour or two, if time allowed. I almost always go for a red eye when I visit a coffee shop for the first time, but there are alot of appealing alternatives; I might have to try Maple Bourbon latte on a future visit. Being a major fan of breakfast food, I had to order the hearty Brake Shop burrito, packed with scrambled eggs, bacon, cripsy tater tots, and pico del gallo. It arrived quickly, hot, and even more filling and flavorful than I expected. Beyond that, Upshot offers an ample menu of other breakfast and lunch options; my wife ordered a Turkey Sando and custom-made iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. We don't get that many beautiful days in the midst of St. Louis winter; I'm glad I could spend one at Upshot's flagship cafe, and excited to see how their other locations compare.

Plenty of parking Nice decent sized cafe eatery The server recommended these two items that are pictured! And they are both too their the croissant waffle is something I've never had before it is *Chefs Kiss* The breakfast burrito was soooooo good it was loaded with everything you can imagine! The ambience of this place is clean clear and gives me a coffee shop restaurant type vibe I will definitely be back and it'll be hard to try some different things as good as these two items were! 10/10 I recommend

I was excited to give it a try since I love trying dirty sodas from different places. Unfortunately, the soda selection available for the promotion was pretty limited. While there are a lot of options advertised online, only a handful were available with the free offer, and most of them contained coconut. Since I can't have coconut, I was left with the root beer option, which isn't really my favorite. Because of that, I don't feel like I got a fair chance to experience what their dirty sodas have to offer, so I'll probably stick with my usual local spots for those. Now, the cookies are a completely different story. Crumbl cookies are always delicious. They're huge, rich, and definitely made for sharing (or saving half for later!). They're one of our favorite treats for birthdays, celebrations, or just because. I have a teenager, and while flowers might not impress her, surprising her with a Crumbl cookie absolutely does. Ordering through the app is always quick and easy, and my orders have consistently been accurate. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the rewards program. It doesn't really give me much incentive to visit more often. Overall, while I wasn't sold on the dirty soda experience, Crumbl's cookies continue to be some of my favorite sweet treats. They're the kind of dessert that's worth splurging on every once in a while, and we'll definitely keep coming back for the cookies.
