They really need to hire, the lines are very very long on the weekends! If you need help with Elfa or customized closets do yourself and make an appointment. The lady with the short blonde haircut is rude with zero patience. If you park in the garage and call for pick up, they don't answer. The sign reads don't get out your car, yet they don't come or answer the phone! Gosh what a nightmare to get organized. The 90min parking only has 2 spots, then drive up has 3 spots but again when you click I'm here on the app/email no one comes! They need more parking spots, more cashiers and friendly customer service.

Everyone must be reorganizing but I think ever since the Netflix show, The Home Edit (THE) came out, everyone is clamoring for the tools to have pretty bins! Sunday afternoon and we waited in line to enter the store. Probably a half an hour wait. (Nice music pipes in the area though.). Nice to have a limited number of customers as shopping was very nice. Unfortunately most of THE merchandise was sold out. Saw many online order bags awaiting pickup so that is the way to go. Prices at the store have always been high. But if you are looking for one stop shopping on functional, pretty organization tools this is the place to go. I only came to look at THE stock but came out with items that caught my eye (a Velcro holder with handle to wrap around my garden hose but I need to move it away from the faucet while my house is getting painted: a huge carbiner that I can put on a hook on my garage shelves to hang bags. Worth the wait. Just be prepared.

Ordered $1000 elfa items . During ordering website said only a couple of items were not in stock. Now after a month I have only gotten 3 items . They send an email titled wahoo your items are in for pick up. So went today and only got 2 more items. At this rate I will have to drive to store 20 times to get my stuff and might get it by the new year. They don't care about their customers. Included email wahoo and part of my order and that's not even half of want I ordered

Huge store, overpriced BUT if you are looking for something very specific and don't want to drive to 3 other places or search online, this is a good source. I needed a plastic organizer/tub for under my parent's sink. I wanted a dark color and dimensions were specific. Low and behold, they actually had something that worked perfectly. Saved me time and energy which to me, is worth paying a little more. Not everyone has that luxury I realize. They do carry some more affordable items too like Sterlite and their own brand, plus have a payment plan available.

Annoyed. I am standing in line for what seems like forever waiting to gain access to the store. They are limiting 5 customers at a time!! This is because they do not have adequate staffing . Had I known this, I would not have made the trip, again. They closein 45 minutes and there is a huge line.

Horrible shopping and customer experience. They have long lines. Not enough staff to handle returns. Retail clerks are rude.

I normally wouldn't even bother to post a one star review but today I received really terrible…read morecustomer service at the Walnut Creek Pottery Barn and completely understand why this store has a 2 star Yelp rating. The sales associate on the floor seemed like she was actively avoiding eye contact with me and my mom, until I said "hi" - which caused her to say "hi" but keep walking past us until I said we have question about the basket selection. She said "we have plenty of baskets, you can check online or ask the cashiers to pull up the website." ???? I noted there wasn't much selection on their shelves and asked if what they had on the floor was all there was in store (yes). No wonder brick and mortar retail is dying - I'd much rather go to West Elm, CB2 or Crate and Barrel at this price point. I didn't catch the associate's name but she was an older brunette lady. The cashier (Sofia) similarly made us feel unwelcome - "what can I do for you?" (NOT in a friendly way) when I was standing in line holding my purchase, ready to check out. Is it not obvious when customers are ready to pay? I wonder if she was condescending because it was a sale item. Won't be returning to this location and sours me on buying anything from Pottery Barn in general. Train your salespeople, alternatives are abundant.

LINDY was especially great. She took the time to answer my questions, give me design advice, and…read morehelp me achieve my vision. When the price point is high, it's nice when the customer service meets that. I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews. I had a great experience. All of the sales associates were clearly busy with store-related work, but were quick to pause and assist when I had questions.
