I went to The Container Store to pick up one small item, although I shop here all of the time. Upon entering, I noticed these wonderful bungee office chairs displayed. I had my eye on them for awhile, but kept holding off on purchasing one. However, they were on sale, marked down from $199. to $159. I loved the aqua, which would go with my decor, but didn't see any boxed ones, so I selected the gray. I asked the wonderful associate Claire, who was nearby, to help me put the box in the cart. At the same time, I inquired about getting an aqua one. She cheerfully stated that I could take the assembled one. All the better! Not only that, but she carried it to my car. What a wonderful asset she is to your company! A note on the chair: so comfy, great on the back, stylish. My neighbor saw it and ordered one that same day!

The things that weelrw unique and worth getting, even the things thag were mildly interesting were so over priced it made me feel like I wasted a day walking around here. It was an hour and a half trip so overall juice not worth the squeeze. Selection is a lot of stuff t hat looks like transfer station still good shed items... maybe 5-6 legit booths total of the 75 vendors. Check your records before buying almost all the ones I looked at were scratched.

For the most part we're going the prices low-fair! Bonus!!! If you're on the fence, price won't be a determining factor most likely. If there's a piece on the pricier side, there's usually some kind of description for the why behind the price. They have roller carts like target ands hand baskets to hold your things. The winding staircase is beautiful. Great spot for a photo! Yes they have bathrooms! Easily accessible! We're still confused but there's the main canal street antique mall with 2 full floors AND across the parking lot is another space on the 4th floor. They're owned by the same people, we think... we loved both places!

Visited 4/28 with a friend, friend was indulging me because I always need to find a plant store,…read moreeven in a touristy spot such as Salem. Plants are a bit pricy but that's to be expected. Still found myself a Hoya in 2" pot for $5ish and splurged on a tiny air plant in a tiny ceramic pot for $15 (ouch). But it was super cute and I decided to treat myself as a souvenir. Selection is ok, the store is pretty tiny. CS is decent. Eg almost non-existent but no one followed me or my friend (both not Caucasian) around either.

Very nicely decorated store with a bright and airy feel to it. Tons of plant options and earthy…read moretype decor items to complement them. I'm not a plant lover, but my friend is and really wanted to check it out, and I liked their unique look from the outside that made it different than the touristy spots all around Salem that I was getting a little sick of. I liked their selection of books and home decor. I loved a crystal tree they had and purchased it for a new display area I'm working on at home. I'd enjoyed my shopping experience so far and was excited about my purchase, but the staff member that rang me up was notably unfriendly. He ignored me for almost a full minute, continuing what looked like a craft project, before finally acknowledging me and directing me to the appropriate checkout station (he was standing squarely between two so I couldn't tell where to go). He ignored my polite attempts at small talk and seemed to rush the entire transaction so I would go away as soon as possible. I'd rate the store higher but was really off put by how I was treated, and other reviews note a similar attitude...I was starting to think I'd read into it, but this is clearly a trend. No employees greeted us or asked if we needed any help the entire time we browsed, in stark contrast to every other boutique I visited that day going above and beyond to make me feel welcome in their shop. Nice selection of items and pretty to look at, but be prepared for a dose of attitude.
