(I love the antiques community here in this building. There are lots of stores, a variety of unique items, and nice, friendly sellers. This review is specific to just one store in the building)
AVOID TIMELY TREASURES on the THIRD FLOOR at all costs -- I feel partially bad to say this because the employees there were awesome, but the owner, Shane Coley, is a totally dishonest conman. This guy has absolutely no respect for people and has no remorse lying right to your face.
I bought a Kitchenaid stand mixer from him that looked fairly new and clean. He promised that the mixer works perfectly and kept insisting that there's a lifetime warranty for customer service and maintenance from Kitchenaid (there's not).
I trusted the promise and brought it home. However, when I was finally ready to use it for baking, I turned the mixer on for the first time, just to realize there was something wrong with the motor and it didn't mix anything harder than eggs.
When I returned the mixer back to the store, I was told by an employee and Shane Coley that we will get our money back. However after we left, Shane Coley went MIA for two weeks. He was extremely rude and sketchy, hanging up on me while I was talking, ignoring my phone calls, and changing his words every time. He at first refused to give me a refund saying it works fine, and then at the end of two weeks, he suddenly started claiming I broke it and refused to give the full refund. He still hasn't returned the full amount yet (he returned half, which I never agreed to).
If you ever do any simple google search on this guy, you will have no problem finding all sorts of reviews about his awful business conduct (rolex seller page, etc). I regret not having known this in advance, and I hope you don't make the mistake I made. We also almost bought a dining table set from him, and really glad we didn't.
Tl;dr --
DO NOT BUY FROM TIMELY TREASURES ON THE THIRD FLOOR. IT'S OWNED BY A CONMAN. read more
