Compliments always has an amazing selection of designer handbags as well. I purchased a Gucci tote, and Prada crossbody bag. My girlfriend and i have always had a great experience here, with friendy, helpful staff. The owner Tracy, and Maryann always go out of there way to show us special items that they think we might like, and even have a wish list for special requests. As a picker with many years in the business, I really appreciate David's operation. I can show you evidence of many more bargains that I've gotten there over the years including one of a kind Sigrid Olsen silk tops for 30 bucks, a simple black dress from Isda for $25...I've seen DKNY, Gucci oh and there was that $50 Ralph Lauren black label suit I bought...the list goes on and on. They have a great mark down policy on items that have been there a while. I've also consigned there and made some dough back. They've always been easy to work with. Finally, if you're a size 0 or 2 you're going to have no problem finding designer garb because someone with some expendable income is dropping them off there by the truckloads with the tags still on. As for this size 6, sometimes 8 and even 10 gal there's plenty there for us too.

Marblehead's Gift to Thrift…read more I recently poked around the adjoining rooms at St. Michael's Thrift Shop and found a well-organized selection of bargains. There was (I'm sure it's gone by now!) a brand spank'n new coffee maker, neat stacks of jeans, generous racks of men's and women's clothing, rows of shoes and boots, and the cutest sets of colorful tableware. It doesn't stop there, though. The upstairs houses an incipient collection of home furnishings, anchored by a gorgeous over-stuffed upholstered chair and an antique bamboo table. Last year she only took 1 of my items. The year before she took several. I prefer to get paid in gift cards as there is always something I want at her store.

They priced their items fairly, they don't seem to do too…read moremuch of a mark up on the consignment or on the retail.Some of their sizes go up to 16 or 2XL, but there's a lot less variety for those sizes. If focused mostly on women's clothing but do have some men's options available.
