I didn't even know that this building used to the First Bank of Salem until I saw the sign this time. I love the candles here and again the whole shop feels very homey and regal at the same time. The shopkeepers are super friendly and even showed me the inside of the former bank vault which was decorated like the Pirates of the Carribbean ride with treasures and a pirate skeleton. I asked to smell the Peach Melba tea and they actually bagged a bit for me to try at home. So nice. (And yes it was good) Definitely a great place to find some gifts for the tea lover in your life!

I love stores like this, but sometimes feel the items don't speak to me. This was not the case at hive & forge! Great prices and lovely staff.
