I'm not one for antique shops, as I find them usually dim and dank and cramped, with a dusty aroma…read morethat permeates my clothes for days. Plus my allergies usually kick in big-time from the dust. So I was not really keen on checking out this place with my family recently. Boy, was I glad I relented, as this place was NOT your typical crowded tchatckie den! For one thing, this antique shop is housed in a humongous converted old barn which is reminiscent of a warehouse, in that it is SO big and open. This makes for more space to move around in, a more open circulation pattern, less feeling cramped and less likely to be elbowed by fellow shoppers maneuvering about the aisles and shelves. It was super well-organized, with like items displayed together. Plus items were all clearly tagged and priced. One really could spend hours in this place. The merchandise runs the gamut from guitars to jewelry to lighting fixtures to maps and globes. If you're a collector of, well, anything, I'm sure you'd find something here to add to your collection. I like how people could bring thier dogs in here (leashed) and how there is ample parking in the lot outside. One thing to note: it was a super hot day when we visited, and the store was really really hot. Reading the reviews here, it sounds like this place gets frigid cold in the winter, too. Dress accordingly!

I was impressed by the selection of glassware and tiffany-style stained glass lamps. I ended up buying a 1970's Anchor Hocking carafe, but would've purchased some larger items if I wasn't flying home. Staff members were friendly, dogs were allowed inside, and they had a cute little wrapping station to make sure items could be packaged in newspaper. Would happily return!

The old timer that works there is the best guy, he will tell you the history of his antiques and enjoys telling you about them. The furniture they have there is insane - I admired this 18th century English Chair that looks like a thrown - it looks like it belongs in a museum rather than for sale. The craftmanship on the furniture is inspiring and reminiscent of a time where detail to wood was hailed.

I touched a piece of silver, a $10 item and the owner at the desk snapped very quickly at me asking me if I needed any help with a loud voice very rude. I said no I'm just browsing thank you And then a few minutes later out of the blue, she says nothing in the store is to be touched! She was by far her one of the rudest woman I have ever encountered as a store owner and I literally did nothing I looked over at her and I said I beg you parted she says do not touch a single thing in the store. And I replied wow I've never heard of that. Nothing? As there was so much clutter in there from top to bottom, you couldn't even walk. I would never step foot in that place again she was ungodly so disrespectful and treated me inhumane I can see clearly why her store has 1 million pieces in it People don't want to be treated like that and will not return with a terrible experience.
