Everything and anything dark and spooky you can think of you will most definitely find here. There's a lot of dark pieces here. I'm into positive spells, magic and the history of it all but some of the stuff they had here is are things I'm not into it. But it's cool that I got to check out it. I adore that this store is on an old bank. The venue is stunning. The building is very ornate. I can only imagine the kind of history that this building holds. Upon entering, you are greeted by a massive huge open floor plan of everything black, spooky and horror! There was so much too see and I wanted everything! A few photo op opportunies throughout the store. All the employees were super friendly and efficient. I ended up buying a blackcraft hoodie and decorated my own Salem Tote bag. With the purchase of a $35 tote bag, I get one patch free to put on the bag. If I want more, I of course can purchase however many patches I want. Thomas was HUGE HELP and very pleasant. He helped me with the placement if the patches and explained everything in great detail! Once everything is placed in its desired position, he will go ahead and get everything pressed. I loved it! Just the experience made it worth while for me. My very own custom made tote bag. Overall, great time in this store and I highly recommend visiting when you are in Salem. I was having a private QUIET whispering conversation with my fiancé about items in the store and seeing which one he liked for a set of earrings. The man behind the counter chimes into said conversation by saying, "yeah that piece is so nice" Annoyed--so i put back the earring and proceed to the small display of rings. just staring at them. He again says" we have that moonstone ring over here as well in other colors and in gold and in many sizes--he kept pushing and pushing the item no matter what angle you said that you weren't interested or were looking for something different. Again we move to another part of the store and the woman hollers out for us to go up stairs and how amazing it is up there. 'I reply, we've already been up stairs" This was our cue to leave. I'm sorry -- THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. you're trying wayyyy to hard to be something you're not. Leave the hippy bit for someone else. We're locals and don't need you passive aggressively trying to sell us the same sterling silver junk and chotsky trinkets that have been in your store for ages. If we needed help, we would ask.
