The store manager is a liar and extremely rude and arrogant. I saw online things that were in stock and I had a register person tell me they had them in the back & when I asked the manager (dark hair and older lady) she got all weird and nervous and started threading lies together. After having lunch with a couple of friends near by, I decided to finally stop in and check out the store. I had almost two hours to burn before taking my kiddos to music and it's super hot outside, making it the perfect opportunity to stay cool and check out the store. While the employees greeted us when we walked in the store, the loss prevention person following us around every corner the entire time we were there, 35 minutes or so. This was not welcoming. Because of this, I didn't buy anything and probably won't be back despite some of the cool stuff. Side note, none of us were carrying purses, bags, or back packs. My autistic son did have his small fanny pack with his cell phone and drum sticks. I understand theft is an issue for many businesses, however nothing we did was suspicious creating the need to be followed the whole time. Doing a little spring cleaning and organizing, I had to stop in. I was hoping for some closet drawers that were inclosed, but only found open wired basket types here. I did find some storage drawers for our girl's playroom so I could move their crafts from the pantry into their playroom. Nice color selection. They also had some cute office gifts I had never seen before I just had to pick up. Cutesy stuff. My favorite find was drawer liners. I love protecting shelves. It also makes it looks nice and protects the wood when placed under the sinks and on pantry shelves. I hit the jackpot this visit. read more

I have used container store Elfa products in the past, it always has to be on sale or it's just too expensive. But It's been a while and now coming into the store is like whoa did covid make the prices go up? $40 for a simple rack, and wait i need like 10 of those and brackets wow that's $600 for a simple shelf. I mind as well go all out and get someone to build me a customer cabinet in the garage. I can see some great organizing going on but just a bit out my reach on most items. And these days we see very good value, functional, and creative products on Amazon. read more

We kept adding more Elfa systems after we got the hang of it, and so on. Of course you need bins for all your things, right? Hello Container Store! And, contact liners for those draws; and well, you get the idea. Marie Kondo has nothing on us. LOL This store is very clean and ultramodern and one of the largest we've seen. Elfa hadn't been sitting on it hands either. They now have four levels of price points, for whatever needs your attention for organizing. This is the Disneyland of organization. I was just waiting for the Sound of Music theme "The Hills are alive..." to start playing when I walked in. There are so many choices of how to organize one's room, kitchen, suitcase, car, house, whatever it is... they've got it. It's almost too overwhelming seeing all that there is, but the staff is so on top of being ready to help when needed. They always check on you, ask how you're doing, and will help carry stuff to your vehicle if needed. One of the very last Category Killers still standing and appears to be doing quite well due to the Pandemic. Stock price is up nearly 40% since mid-summer and foot traffic is robust, as evident during my visit in early January, '21. This is a fun store. Kind of a Scandinavian feel to me for some reason-not that I even know what that means :). I guess there are a couple of approaches to organization. One, get rid of the stuff you don't want/need (thanks Marie Kondo), or two, put it in a box, in box, in a box. And The Container store has boxes. And organizers, and labelers, and cool, funky post-it notes and colorful index cards. Actually kind of reminiscent of The Sharper Image-did anyone actually buy anything there though? Stores like this typically try to extract every last penny from you as they usually have exclusive brands that are not on-line. In fairness and will some admiration, I found the pricing to be competitive and within reason on most items. Yes, they have some items that seem a bit proud of but overall there isn't much gouging going on here. The staff was warm, inviting, and fun. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations and social distancing going on. My only disappointment was no Marie Kondo sighting, guess I'll have to make a return visit soon. read more

What a fun store this is. I been trying to organize my life better and make things easier for me and my family before we make our move to Texas in a few months. A store just got containers, perfect for those type A personalities! I love the acrylic shoe boxes for my closet and they even have some for my purses. This place really had so much and I think I'm in love. My mother, who is a total type A personality frequents this store often. Unlike me, where I just come in for what I need or "the basics" This place has put organization on a whole new level. I REALLY want to love this place. I've stopped in to this location 5-6 times over the past year or so, and have made purchases maybe two of those times. The name pretty much describes the store; they sell containers and organizational thingies of all types. Every time my fiancée and I decide to stop in I get excited to see what cool things they have, yet almost every time I end up leaving a bit disappointed. I couldn't figure out why for the longest time until my most recent trip. I wanted something I could hang on the wall in the entryway that would hold mail and keys and looked cool. They did have one that sorta worked but was clearly meant for an office and not a home. After circling the store twice and finally giving up on my goal, I realized I had picked up and was struggling to carry three other neat organizational thingies that I didn't really need but still could not in good conscious live without. And that's the hook for me. Beyond that they seem somewhat overpriced. As an example, my fiancée wanted a fancy stainless steel trash can to match the rest of our kitchen, which we purchased at Bed, Bath, & Beyond for $130 regular price. I found the same model at this place was selling for $199. On the plus side, the staff has all been super friendly. read more

I'm only commenting on the online ordering and pickup. It was super convenient to place my order online, call when I got there and they brought my order right to my car. I like the convenience of this because I'm not likely to purchase more than what I really need at the time. What can we say about this store except "Yaaaayyyy!" My husband and I were having the devil's own time trying to organize our small pantry to obtain it's maximum use. We had picked out a couple of shelving units that we were unsure of and then Ornel, seeing our struggle, offered her help. Thank God! Within a few moments she, after learning our dimensions, had us outfitted with the perfect shelving unit! Voila! Problem solved! The next day we were back for more solutions to our storage problems and again...Ornel and Tony came to our rescue! They charge you and send you the items separately and you might receive some of them after 2-3 months IF they send it. Higher-quality storage solutions for every room in the house or office! There were storage items for the kitchen and pantry that I didn't even know existed!!!! So many containers of every size and color! There is a nice section towards the back of the store for shipping (like boxes, bubble mailers, packing material, packing tape, etc.) and gift wrap too! It's definitely a great place to go if you need a container, and you're willing to shell out more money than you normally would for said container. I picked up some tupperware that were on sale for about $4 each. I think you just need to know when they are having sales. I love this store. Being home has reminded me that I needed to get some areas organized. I have been making almost weekly trips for curbside pick ups for a couple months. They are organized and ready when I get there. I appreciate the quality and variety of products that they offer. I to made my weekly trip to pick up some of the items I have been wanting. I was really looking forward to getting some of the new shoe containers in black. Unfortunately, I had an odd employee following me around the store. She was extremely aggressive as I was looking at some items I was considering for my desk at work. And continued to follow me around the store even tho I already knew what I was going to get. I probably would have browsed some more to get ideas for future projects but I felt uncomfortable being in the store. So I picked up what I was planning on getting and promptly left the store. The only thing is the stuff here is pricey and not cheap. Containers at the box stores are way cheaper. However, Many things are unique here. I have never seen some of the items before. White board tape? Ummm, teacher here says,"Yes please and who knew? I picked up a few items like a Scarf Hook hanger for my closet and an expanding shelf for my spice cabinet. I had a pantry designed in the store and elected to order it later. The clerk told me over the phone that it would be ready this weekend. The e-mail I received stated that it wouldn't be ready until the following weekend. When I called to sort this out I was told that half of the parts wouldn't be ready for two weeks.
