I would only be on the computer 45 minutes or so before turning the display off to let it cool down. My computer is 17 years old and I put off replacing the fan as long as I could. I called on Wednesday before noon and they picked it up that afternoon. By Friday I had my computer back and it's like it's new again. It has made a world of difference. Deon Lee Hanson then talked me into "upgrading" my network, telling me that my network was running on very old technology. So, I agreed to pay him for, and paid him, for this supposed "upgrade." While here to perform the supposed "upgrade," they shut down my computer and disconnected me from my network without telling me in advance. I was working on several documents at the time, all of which were lost and had to be redone because of this bonehead move. When I asked Deon Lee why they did this, he replied that he didn't know that I was here. Didn't know that I was here? I welcomed him at the door and have a glass enclosed office that looks directly into the area where our server closet is located. No honesty at all in my opinion. The "upgrade" has since turned into a disaster. EVERYTHING on my system and network runs slower than it did before Deon Lee Hanson touched anything. Our ability to maintain our workflow is even worse now. I asked Deon Lee for the money back that I paid for the repairs he never performed and the supposed "upgrade" that made my system worse. I needed the money back because now I am going to have to pay another IT firm to come in and fix this utter mess that Geeks Mobile created. Mr. Lee refused to refund my money. I now have to file a lawsuit. Folks, there are plenty of good mobile IT firms out there that are far, far better and more professional than this one. They said I would have to take my computer elsewhere (because it was "outdated") to have a power unit installed. I began contacting Computer repair business businesses to get pricing on installation of a new Power Unit . Within a few minutes, I received a phone call from Ray (as a result of my inquiry to his business). I told him the issue. After only briefly speaking to him on the telephone he was able to tell me that it was unlikely to be the power unit. While on the phone he gave me some instructions of what to do to my computer and, like magic, it came to life! No power unit necessary! That, alone, saved between $250 and $550 (or more). Then, he was able to tell me, via the phone, that my operating system, as well as the new operating system that I installed, we're both corrupted. Again, over the phone, he was able to successfully guide me how to take care of THAT issue. FURTHERMORE, he stayed on the phone with me and directed me how to clear my cash and get rid of things that he called useless "crumbs" scattered throughout my computer that slowed my computer down. Talk about going above and beyond!! And, voilà, as he said it would, My computer worked faster than it has in years. This man is a true fountain of Apple knowledge (and probably for Windows), repair, and upkeep. More importantly, I believe him to be the most ethical and hard-working people I've encountered in any field. I HIGHLY recommend that you contact Ray before you embark on spending money on your computer issues. I stake my reputation on it!
