After reaching out to a couple computer repairs shops, I decided to take a chance on Dmitriy (...I…read moresay this because he doesn't have many customer reviews on here yet, so it can always be a gamble using a service without a ton of feedback yet). Anyways, he was responsive and eager, and shot me some fair estimates for some computer repairs/services. He got my old laptop up and running again so I was appreciative of the job he did. I dropped off and picked up at the computer at his apartment which was fairly close to my house, so that was a bonus not having to worry about rushing to get it somewhere before or after work. Shoot him a line before deciding on the company you choose. He may be able to offer you a better deal while maintaining high quality work.

After they spent at least 15 minutes and couldn't duplicate the problem, there was no charge. We ended up getting a universal laptop power charger since our cord was severely frayed in one area. They did not suggest the purchase. I specifically asked myself. Their suggestion as to why I was getting the error message was spot on, and I no longer have it popping up on my screen. I did read some of the other reviews just now, and they may or may not be true, as is true of any reviews. My input is that we won't go to Best Buy or similar stores for any sort of computer repair. We tried that once and it was a fiasco. I did not wait in line at this store and we were greeted as soon as we entered the store. We will come back when the need arises again.
