This is a review of their in-home service…read more As a remote living son, with a mom who is not the most tech-savvy, it means eventually she will have an issue I can't repair remotely and need another set of hands to help out. After a visit to "A local big-box store that has computer services" mom came home with a PC that was in absolute dire repair, with store provided bloat ware and there was nothing I could do. Which leads me to Epoch, a friend had told me about the service, so I reached out to see if they could do something local for my mom. After details were exchanged, they gave me a rough estimate of cost and away they went. After much PC cleaning, they managed to get mom up and running again and all the bloatware removed. They were very patient! I would definitely recommend them to all the remote-children out there who can't always solve the parents IT issues.

I needed the battery replaced in my smart watch, I searched online and also went to several watch…read morerepair stores, couldn't find anyone to do it. Got a recommendation to try Girls Fix it. While the battery was replaced, and the watch is working fine the communication left much to be desired. Dropped off watch on Saturday, was told battery should arrive Monday. Okay, that set the expectation the watch would be ready sometime by the end of week at least. Crickets! The following Saturday I reached out for a status update. Response was battery was received, will test today or tomorrow, meaning Sat or Sun. Monday got a text that battery was replaced, and watch was turning on. I then asked when I can pick watch up. Response, I'm homebound until the 9th of Dec, however, can have watch delivered. I asked who would pay delivery charge, response, we will cover $15. I opted to pick watch up from same location I dropped it off as I live a 25-minute drive away and I'm not up on Uber deliver charges. We agreed on time and date. Day of pickup I receive a text at 2:45 (5 o'clock pickup) stating we're coordinating with someone to meet me at designated time and place. At pickup time I receive a text that I fell asleep. I then opted to wait for Uber delivery. Watch was delivered about 6pm, waited an hour. Communication is key to good customer service!!!!

Give Bryan a call for any of your computer needs! His was one of two computer repair services who…read moreactually answered my phone call, and he is very available from start to finish. Bryan diagnosed my factory-refurbished, less-than-a-year-old laptop as having a defective motherboard; thankfully, the hard drive was untouched. He walked me through the issue in layman's terms that I was able to understand. Upon my request, he was able to offer two excellent alternative options for laptops that had the same specs as my old laptop but were less expensive; he is able to order the laptops through a wholesaler and receive price reductions. He conducted a data transfer from the old to the new laptop for $100 and offered the old hard drive as a back-up device. The whole process, from the time I dropped off my laptop to the time I picked up the new one, took four days (minus the time it took for me to decide on a new laptop). I highly recommend Cook's Computers. They are reliable, communicative, and clearly fair.

We found him randomly at a time when my elderly mom was having a lot of computer issues and was getting confused easily. Which can be scary given the world of scammers looking to take advantage of elderly folks online, etc. I live far away from my mom so couldn't help her directly, but happened to meet Mitch when I was in town when we needed someone and now I have him go help my mom all the time. From everything to do with the printer, her phone, her computer, her wireless router, even her cable TV. And now I have him helping my elderly Aunt - again across all the electronics and computer and phone kinds of things. I'm super super grateful for his services. He's reasonably priced (we can't afford anything but what we need), he's communicative and he looks out to anticipate problems not just react to the ones that have already happened - which is great. Highly recommend.
