I had used Keith's services ages ago when I purchased my condominium in 2015. I have been plagued with a slow internet connection since installing my Mesh Eero wifi. Thankfully, I had kept Keith's number in my cell . He installed a Google Wifi Router for me this morning and everything is working great again! I highly recommend his patience and expertise. read more

Keith was very helpful and understanding. Reasonably priced to get my laptop up and working. Thank you so much. He was prompt and helpful. I now have a laptop that responds and doesn't frustrate me. Kept me up to date with the progress. Thank you again, read more

We got a new mac mini and needed Keith to set up and transfer some stuff from the old computer. He was professional and personable. We couldn't have done it without him! We highly recommend Keith. read more

I honestly can't give a better plug for Keith than a full 5 rating. When my laptop started making a whack fan noise and quickly got progressively worse I was feeling leery about who to trust and "what's it going to cost me"? I rolled the dice and I COULDNT BE HAPPIER. A) Keith made the entire process so smooth. B) He had the part and I had my laptop back in under 24hrs. Amazing. C) Cost, completely affordable and we all know I saved a ton compared to taking it to Best Buy or something. Only pointer I can share for Yelpers is to contact Keith first, before trying to drop it off. I initially tried to drop it off but he was on another job and quite honestly, it worked out easier for all to just let him swing by and pick it up. Granted, he is practically a neighbor so maybe that was just me but I'm good at picking up vibes from people and this guy is Grade A. And my laptop (a Dell) is tip-top. Fixed! read more

I was working on an important project while traveling abroad, and when I got back and plugged my flash drive into my laptop all of my data had mysteriously disappeared. I looked up and contacted numerous tech repair places on Yelp. After explaining what had happened, most of them said that they couldn't help me because the flash drive had either been formatted and thus, the data couldn't be recovered or because I had saved the data on the computer I was using and not the flash drive (definitely not what happened). Keith was the only one who said it sounded like there was a chance my data could be recovered. I dropped my flash drive off to him on a Sunday, and had all my data back by Thursday (thank the universe!). Keith was very transparent through the entire process and kept me updated via text with different things that he was trying and how much it would cost. He is super friendly, and I will go to him again if I ever have any other tech issues. I highly recommend his services to anyone and everyone! read more

I highly recommend calling Keith! I needed his help recovering photos from a Macbook hard drive that I thought was totally dead. The computer had crashed probably more than a year ago. We tried to recover the materials ourselves but we were unsuccessful. The hard drive just sat in our basement until I finally decided to find professional help to see if we could recover our photos from the hard drive. I found Keith on yelp, called him up and he was able to see me within the hour. He was able to get back to me within 24 hours about the state of the hard drive and the price he would charge to recover the files. His price was fair and he was able to work very quickly to get the files back to me just two days after I dropped off the hard drive (I had some time constraints that he was able to accommodate.) Keith is highly responsive, works quick and knows what he's doing. I will definitely be recommending him and giving him a call back for my future tech support needs. Thanks again Keith!! read more

This is a one-man operation; and it's a good one. Keith helped when my doof of a bf porned out my computer and it almost bit the dust with viruses. After shopping around and attempting to locate several shops to fix the damn thing, Keith came over and picked 'er up. The computer was back to us in two days and is working great. His price was fair based on the other estimates we were given. I'd recommend trying Keith if you need a fix because he is down-to-earth, offers a limited-time service warranty (on our job anyway), and even sent us info so we don't make the same mistakes twice! read more

I found Keith on Yelp. I needed to have my laptop look at because it would not shut down. I went to Best Buy first to have them take a look at it but that cost way to much money. Keith clean out my laptop, upgrade and put a new antivirus on there. It took him no time and he a nice person to do business with. read more

Once again, Philly Tech Help saved the day. This isn't the first time I had to call Keith for help but after I dropped my laptop I thought it was a goner. The screen turned all gray, I couldn't turn it off, and it just looked dead. It wouldn't do anything. It just stayed . .. gray. And dead. I contacted Keith and he got back to me promptly. He got his hands on the computer, did some computer tech thing and somehow got it up and working again. It is less than 2 years old and I wasn't looking forward to spending money on a new one but nope. Keith fixed it and brought it back to life. I highly recommend Philly Tech Help. read more

Keith is great! I've used him for repairs on three separate computers (two Mac's, one PC) and he's been perfect every time. Keith provides documentation when necessary (I needed a document stating that a computer was broken beyond repair to authorize a return and documentation of needed repairs for a warranty), offers loaner computers if needed, and doesn't perform any repairs without your express permission. He even found discs for the Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office suites and installed them onto my computer when I lost the programs because of a broken hard drive! Keith's prices are outstanding, and his workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend him for all computer repairs. read more

Extremely happy with the help Keith provided. My MacBook Pro had a swollen battery and Keith was able to replace it for even less than the estimated cost (pretty sweet, right?!). The trackpad was replaceable so I think I saved some money that way. He did this very quickly and I was able to pick it up and pay with a CC right there. Venmo and Paypal were both an option... Highly recommend going to Philly Tech Help for all your computer needs. Keith seems very knowledgeable about computers and he was a nice guy to work with, he was also very responsible via phone; 5/5 stars! **Make sure to call first because I believe the address needs to be adjusted read more

Keith was very helpful in fixing my machine (fan was not working/tons of viruses/would barely turn on). He ordered a new fan, replaced the fan and cleaned up most of the gunk on my computer. He offers free pickup and dropoff which is great and his prices were quite affordable vs. sending into Dell and waiting a month for it to be sent back. I've only had the computer back for one day since picking up from Keith, but it is running much smoother than before and am hoping it remains this way going forward. Although my charger was possibly misplaced, he provided one that works ideally with my machine and was apologetic in that sense. I will use him in the future for any computer issues. read more

Great service and very reasonable. The turn around time. He is very friendly and professional. I would do business again!

This guy is awesome. Came to my home fixed the situation in no time. He was really quick about it as well. Seem to know his way around the TV and all the other devices with no problems. I'm awful with technology and he came in and made my life easy. Also very responsive and got here quickly. I would absolutely use this guy again!! read more

Philly Tech Help was exactly what the doctor ordered. Picked up the misbehaving computer from my house, dealt with the problem, returned it and set it back up. The owner is a gentleman and fair businessman. I recommend him to anyone with IT problems at home. read more

Want to throw my hat into the rink recommending Keith. I tried other small, local tech shops and they were much harder to get in touch with, make an appointment with and weren't as good in their communication skills. Also, Keith fixed my computer! I am glad that yelp led me to him and hope others find him. read more

Now i know where to take my laptop to, if i have any problems in the future! It was very frustrating to deal with a laptop that has many virus pop-ups etc, esp as I am about to take online classes soon! therefore I decided to give it a try at this Philly Tech place (thanks to Yelp for this recommendations and reading the 5 stars reviews was def a YES for me to try it out) to see if they can fix the problems. Keith( owner) was very helpful before and after fixing the laptop, and knows what he was doing too, my laptop works perfectly nowthe price he charged was very reasonable and worth it! He even delievered it to us at no charge at all. I would recommend this place to whoever wanted their computer fixed and there's a whole lotta services he offers too. Thank you Keith for your hard work, keep it up :)... read more

We've used this service twice, and both times I was shocked (in the best possible way) when I heard the total cost. I needed a new screen for my laptop, and the only reason it took more than two days is because the company he ordered the new screen from sent him the wrong size and he had to reorder. He offered to pay for the shipping to make up for the inconvenience, only charged $30 for labor, and provided (free) pick-up and delivery. read more

I can't say enough good things about Philly Tech Help. Keith, the owner, promptly responds to emails/questions and provides an invaluable pick up and drop off service for computer repair. Keith picked up my computer, repaired it, and dropped it back off at my house within a span of just a few days, making sure to update me on his progress as needed. My computer is back up and running great, and Keith even bookmarked options for cheap laptop battery replacements and the like. Fabulous. Oh, and his prices are crazy reasonable. I will definitely be recommending his services to friends in the area, as well as giving him a call any time our computers need repair. read more

My laptop decided a good time to die would be less than a week before I move out of the country. I disagreed, but couldn't convince it to change it's mind. So, I frantically searched through yelp and contacted a few people. Because of his response time and competitive price quote, I decided to go with Keith. Aside from the price, he was also convenient as he's often in center city during the day and willing to pickup wherever. So price and convenience were great, but his service was what easily pushed him to a 5-star review. He kept me posted on the progress he was making over the weekend. Wound up troubleshooting for a while, cleaning out some clogged fan vents, replacing my hard drive and re-installing windows and some other software, all for $125. And even then, as he dropped my now happy, working PC back to me, he said he guarantees all work, so if I had any trouble to contact him. The next day I had an issue with a program not working, so I texted him and he was online using a remote desktop sharing program to repair it less than 10 minutes later. Incredible service. Highly recommended! read more

I tripped over my charger cord while charging my laptop. I broke the charger and it broke off inside the computer. Best buy wanted to charge me $400. I called Keith, after asking Siri for a local computer tech. He picked up my laptop, fixed it, and dropped it off in less than 5 days. Awesome service. I didn't even have to leave my house, and you can't beat the price, especially for the exceptional service. I will def be using this company again and will be referring him to anyone that needs their computer fixed! read more

Fantastic job! I am delighted with Keith's terrific service in both setting up my new computer and in retrieving my lost documents from the old one. Here's what happened. My Dell AIO desktop suddenly died. After following every suggestion on the internet, it would not start. All my important documents going back several years were on its hard drive. I assumed that my external drive had backed up the documents, but was not sure. I decided to replace the Dell ASAP and after some research ordered an HP AIO Envy. It arrived within a week. I then began looking for technical help both to set up my new computer and to retrieve my documents. Fortunately, I found Keith at PhillyTechHelp. I called him and within a day he came to my home and confirmed my suspicion that the motherboard had fried. He expertly set up my new HP and patiently configured it to suit all my needs, including the apps and links that I previously used. I was greatly impressed with Keith's depth of knowledge and patience. He not only set me up, but introduced me to features I didn't know the computer had. I frankly learned a lot from him, and he stayed with me until I was fully comfortable using the new computer. As for recovering the lost documents, it turned out the the external drive was not set up properly, so Keith decided to take the fried Dell home to try to retrieve the documents. To my great relief and delight he was able to do so after about a week's considerable effort. He returned to my home with all the recovered documents on the external drive I had given him and copied them onto my new HP. Of course, he set me up to have a functioning backup. Keith has my highest recommendation. He is a true professional with great expertise, a customer-focused attitude and very reasonable with his fees. read more

I called PTH on the recommendation of a friend and was relieved to talk to someone who was friendly, knowledgeable and didn't ask me to turn the computer off and turn it back on again :) PTH solved my computer/internet issues in one visit and the price was reasonable. (I wrote the same review on Roxborough Computer Repair also known as Philly Tech Help). I didn't see any reviews here when I called these guys so I wanted to recommend them to others. Keith was very helpful as I was having a computer emergency. He came to my house and picked up my computer the same day. The rates are very reasonable, and I got my computer back in a short period of time. Forget the geek squad, definitely consider using a local company like this one. Plus he picks up and delivers, you can't beat that. This is an honest opinion, I was skeptical because I didn't see a review, and in fact, I had called others with good reviews first but they all went to voicemail. Philly Tech Help picked up the phone when I needed help, and I really appreciate that. read more

Keith was very helpful with fixing my laptop, and it only took a few days in total. He provided a lot of information about the problem and was upfront about the cost of repair. He kept me updated on what he was doing throughout the entire process, and he even offered to pick up/return my laptop so I didn't have to bring it in. I would highly recommend Keith for your computer troubles! read more

I can highly recommend Keith. My Dell all in one desk top totally crashed. There was really nothing that could be done for it. I needed to trash it but before I did I needed to get the hard drive out of the computer. That is where Keith comes in. Not only was he able to do this for me but did it in a very quick period of time. He even came and picked up my computer. His price was very reasonable. I highly recommend him and it is great to know that someone so good is in my neighborhood. Hopefully, I will not need his services for my new computer for some time but it is good to know that he is there and that I do not have to rely on the services from Dell which can be pretty horrible. Again I highly recommend Philly Tech Help and Keith!! read more

While studying with my laptop one sunny afternoon at a coffee shop, it began to run out of battery. So without hesitation, I plugged it into the floor outlet. A few minutes later, the computer shut off. *?!?!?* I pressed the power button to turn it back on but a black screen with a blinking cursor appeared. After trying some keystrokes, nothing seemed to be happening. So I turned it off and on multiple times, but the blinking cursor mocked my futile efforts. My friend sitting next to me Yelp'ed "computer repair" and the first (and best rated) business was Steve. I called the number and Steve (owner) pleasantly explained what it could possibly be. We scheduled a meeting and he came over to take a look and pick up the laptop. I was sad to part with my laptop for a few days, but I knew it was in good hands. Steve constantly kept me updated and diligently worked his magic. Within a week, the laptop came back to life! It turns out the laptop received an electrical jolt, which messed up the insides. Everything turned out awesome, except for the mouse pad, which ended up suffering as collateral damage. Despite the mouse pad, I'm very happy with the result--a working computer! He's more than fair in his pricing and even gave a 30-day guarantee! It was a pleasure working with Steve, the computer guru. read more
