In it stores several hundred gigabytes worth of images in ``tiff'' format, recorded during experiments that will take months to reproduce the set-up. Various attempts were made by several hard drive recovery companies that are recommended by online evaluation websites. Despite the hefty price tag on a successful recovery, all of them declared inability to recover the needed data from the hard drive. The severity of the hard drive damage is obvious. As a final hope, I tried Secure Data. Customer service was exceptional: Mitchell contacted me via email and all communications were prompt and efficient. Most importantly, they were able to actual restore the data in the hard drive, while others cannot. The detailed analysis of the damage were clearly stated and corresponding quote given. Although in the end, we were able to complete the article without the data in the damaged hard drive. The service and expertise offered by Secure Data recovery really stood out among the major data recovery companies. I will recommend Secure data to anyone who is in need of emergency hard drive recovery service. Boyang Qin PhD candidate.

So after searching on the internet I found Secure Data Recovery and spoke with Fred who helped me all the way through the whole process. Luckily they were able to recover just about everything except one tiny thing that wasn't of importance to me. To me it was definitely worth every penny. A big lesson learned that I should have been backing all my work onto an external hard drive or a cloud service. I highly recommend SDR, they answered all my questions and even got the new drive back to me earlier than expected. Great job Fred and SDR team!!

However, as a blogger on the road who hadn't been able to post I was feeling rather squirrely. Having been referred, and Needing to drive halfway across county the following morning, I felt more comfortable after speaking to the young Russian gentleman with a bob and the business owner (both reassuring me it was a routine procedure), i consented. 90 minutes later I have a phone that stayed turned on overnight and doesnt burn my hand when touched. As for my data problem, the gentleman provided instructions for how to move the data without losing it. After speaking to an Apple tech, who advised I get a new phone because my version 11 phone has only half the capacity of the newer phones out there because "the upgrades require more just to run the phone" and since I can't afford one at the moment, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill ! Thank you, young gentlemen at Mr. Fix!
