Courteous. Reasonably priced. Considerate. I was quite pleased to find this service and will use again if the need arises.

My Lenovo touchscreen laptop would not power on. I called and spoke with Mike. After a brief…read moreconversation he figured it was probably a motherboard issue but would need to do a diagnostic assessment. I asked how much. He said it was free. That's what it should be. Thats honorable. Being on a time crunch, I brought my laptop in and by days end he confirmed what was suspected. He said he could order the part and the total cost would be for the motherboard (was 209.99) and the cost to replace and test it (99.00). I agreed and he ordered it. The part was shipped from Florida. He immediately ordered it, which was at the end of day on Friday. Unfortunately, that part wasn't shipped until the following Wednesday or Thursday which delayed fixing it and resulted in him having to ship it to me and a $32 charge for shipping. Duting the installation of the new motherboard he told me Windows needed updating and there was an issue updating it. I told him I had an issue updating it. He fixed whatever that issue was and successfully updated it. I got the laptop and it shipped with a thick bubblewrapping. It started up but unfortunately, the touch screen wasnt working. We tried troubleshooting over the phone, but it didnt work. Luckily I was headed back in a couple of weeks during Labor day. On Labor Day, I brought the laptop back in and dropped it off. A few hours later, I picked it up with the issue was resolved. It was a loose connection (or not completely connected). He apologized (HUGE). Positives: Free diagnostics. Actual knowledge and not just a "tech". AMAZING communication (text and email). Price. Location. Easy, free parking. Accountability. Negative: Had to bring the laptop back. Considering everything, I would absolutely, 100% recommend them. Any future issues with laptops or other tech, they're my first call. Yeah, bringing my laptop back sucked. Everybody makes a mistake. What's important is how that's handled. It was handled like a champ.

I am not fond of having to write a negative review. Nor am I fond of being ripped off and ignored…read more My iMac with an older operating system was being hacked. Not fun. The Computer Dept said that they would, for $160 plus tax (I double-checked the price with 'P'), wipe the computer clean, save my documents, and that "it would be like a new computer." Upon delivery they charged me $256, adding on travel time and answerIng questions no one had previously mentioned. What they apparently didn't know is that the Apple Apps that I had used to access my documents are no longer available, even though it was the EXACT same operating system and computer I had. So it is basically useless to me. Why didn't they know that? While they offered to try to get those apps, they found only one of three and it has issues. The fonts are messed up, so when it prints, it's all distorted. I have no access to my accounting and spreadsheets data, nor my art. I do appreciate that at least one person was trying, maybe more to get the apps, but they couldn't. Yet one would think they would have either known that or tested it before delivery. I think there's even possibly a way they could've added those apps from another computer at their store. Not sure. Instead, they actually blamed it on my system. I am not happy to say the least, but they became contentious telling me that my computer was already useless when hacked and that I needed to buy a new one!! I thought I was getting one as good as new. If they believe that, they should never have taken my money. When I spoke up they said they were "ending their professional relationship with me." I certainly didn't see it professional to not take responsibility if a service renders a computer's files inaccessible. What I HAVE is a (hopefully) clean computer with Internet (which my iPad has), ability to open, access but not print documents, no access to important accounting or slideshows. What I DO NOT HAVE is money to buy a new computer. Professionals with ethics would say, "We didn't know this was going to be a problem. We take full responsibility and will refund your money since we did not deliver a usable computer as promised." Instead, they're not responding. I don't know if their Macintosh knowledge is not very good, but in any regard, they should have found a way to either deliver a workable "good as new" computer as promised or refund my money. Maybe you were lucky and got what you needed from this company. But if you have problems, apparently you can forget them taking responsibility, responsive customer service, or compensation for their errors. And absolutely without doubt this was their error.
