Excellent service and value! I thought my laptop was dead after the screen became completely unresponsive while someone else was trying to replace the hard drive with an SSD. The other person couldn't figure out the problem, but Allen was able to identify the issue and fix it promptly and for a very reasonable price. He also fixed some other things as well and cleaned off unnecessary junk programs. He communicated well with me the entire time. My computer is running so well - it's like a brand new machine! Allen did a great job on my computer. The hard drive had died, but Allen was able to recover virtually all of my data, using his recovery software. He installed Avira security software, and did lots of clean up, so that my computer runs much, much faster now than it did previously. I was so pleased with Allen's worked that I paid him more than he asked, which was a very reasonable amount. I recommended him to my friends, and will continue to do so. read more

Yet again this place has earned a 5star rating. I do not give them out often because most places can't measure up to 5 star standards. Our XPS 8100's hard drive took a dive and would not recover, after talking with him about our options and buying a new same type hard drive I was informed by him that they tend to die after a few years. I should have talked to him first. He let us know based on the amount of memory used we could get a solid state drive to run our main programs, this would solve the dells hard drive problems and he could set up the new sell hard drive as a back up drive. Now that said , it would have been enough but no, he went farther and found that they were on sale at best buy and sent the info to me. So now not only is our computer back up but now, it's a screamer and is now running windows 8.1. Point blank if you need computer work done or if you want a Custom computer this is your one stop shop. I recommend him to my mother so that should tell you something. My browser kept crashing, so I, of course, consulted "Dr. Google." After following a convoluted, behind-the-scenes trail into system pages I had no business being in, I managed to delete several essential programs and render my pc incapable of reinstalling them. Sigh. PC Doctor Support to the rescue! Allen updated my operating system, removed oodles of malware, cleaned up everything else, installed Avira security, and created a mirror copy of everything on my external hard drive. I don't think this pc ran this smoothly and quickly when it was brand new! Although I'm obviously not tech-savvy, he answered all of my questions in a clear, non-condescending manner, and did all of this for an exceedingly fair price. I've been going to the PC Doctor for about 5 years now. He's highly competent, honest and charges fair prices. He's built two custom computers for me, recovered data from a damaged drive, installed a new OS (XP to Windows 10), set up automatic backup software on my computer, installed component upgrades, and performed troubleshooting to identify a power supply that died. I had a computer emergency a few weeks ago--my PC just suddenly stopped working. I was super frustrated. I brought my desktop computer in because it wouldn't power up at all. Allen quickly determine that the motherboard was bad and needed to be replaced. He ordered the part right away after checking with me. Not only did he do an amazing job with installing the replacement motherboard and rewiring the power-on switch, he also re-activated my Windows 7 license (which took hours), removed Malware, cleaned the dust & debris, installed Avira Antivirus, installed CCleaner, and installed the available Windows Updates. Also, prior to bringing my desktop in to Allen for repair, using any browser was extremely slow (like back in the days of dial-up access). Now it's lightening fast!!! It's like I went out and purchased a much faster computer!!! Allen spent a lot of time explaining everything to me about the needed repairs, what he did, and answered all of my questions. I've taken my computer to Allen twice. And both times he went above and beyond the level of service I was expecting. I was having trouble with the audio once and he not only fixed that, but identified a number of issues that were slowing down start up time and overall performance. Turn around is quick, prices very reasonable, and he explains everything he did clearly and offers helpful advice on things I can consider to expand what I can do with my current equipment. I am grateful to the PC Dr, Allen, for repairing my older laptop computer so quickly and at such a fair rate. That he brought the computer back to smooth functioning, without having me lose all of my pictures that were stored on it to boot, was a God-send.
