While I was hoping for an easy fix, it wound up to be a bit more serious. BUT, Chloe and Gabriel are angels, they were so calm, genuine, and trustworthy that it made the process bearable (that and some wine! I'm not going to lie!). It was New Year's Eve and they didn't want me to have to wait until today to get my computer back so Gabriel saved the day and fixed the laptop before closing. They tried to link me to the business but after being on hold for a short time said they could not get in touch with anyone. Google Assistant is a computer generated voice so there was no discussion. I think it is ironic that a tech company would not update it status on a search engine. I regret my waste of time.
