We talked and I sent him our receipts and photo of the Canadel sticker under the table. He sent Jee to our home and by yesterday it was fixed! Jee had to come back with another young man, so this was a two day adventure BTW. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! As new owners, I feared you'd tell me sorry, but no, you did not. This table was bought Nov. 2019, and the previous owners sent someone out May 2022, leaving replacement rails in case what he did didn't fix it. Now hopefully it has been rectified properly. Here's what I found: - Purses made from pop can tabs creating a high quality aluminum chainmaille. ( I bought 2 of 'em) - Bottle openers from used bicycle chains. (I hope someone buys me one ;) ) - Bowls from used bike chains...actually, there's a lot of bicycle culture reflected in this store, which I think makes it all the more cool. The owner is a true bicycle fan and her store takes my lifelong love of bikes and brings it into the rest of my lifestyle with style. Used license plate clutches, bike tire belts, wine and beer bottle serving trays, chandeliers and everything. I imagine the product selection at Reworks changes often to keep reclaimed fresh, but even if all the awesome things I've mentioned no longer exist by the time you read my review, you'll still be able to expect high quality and unbelievably creative local products here. Now I pass here all the time, never in my wildest dreams did I expect what I saw inside; we are talking first of all an incredibly large store that descends for eternity to the back and is just plain lovely!! My friend wasn't exaggerating, every showcase, every shelf; every glassed cabinet was chockfull of lovely designer jewellery in the most spectacular designs. Here they carry some of the same designers as they do in Holt Renfrew but for a lot cheaper prices. But it didn't stop at jewellery there were beautiful globes of blown glass, intricately carved chopping boards that I would have hung rather than use and then my favourite an ethnographic object showcase in the far back featuring ceremonial objects from around the world. Here you can find original African Masks, fertility symbols from many countries, Native American antique pieces and authentic temple Buddhas. These objects were definitely market prices, you can buy these pieces for 4 times more on EBay, and here they are quite reasonable in price. Some of them have documentation too, so you know what village or tribe you are buying that object from. The service is tremendous, the people here know their stuff, they understand the precious cargo they carry. They are extremely present in helping you to see a piece or two, in my case more than 10. I love this store, it is exquisite, some of the most unique items I have ever seen and jewellery with such spirit, you should check this store out.
