Finding barbers when you move cross country is always challenging and you just have to try till you find the right match. I am happy to have found Brandon M at Commodore! My first visit was all about the consultation - how I wear my hair, products I use, how long I keep my hair etc. Brandon M was patient and provided good feedback on what he thought would be good and professional. Since my first visit I've been back multiple times. Appointments are easy to make on their website and their location at Westside is perfect. You can grab a coffee/snack or a drink before or after just hang around the area. Parking is easy in the garage nearby. The shop is expansive, and at full capacity with over 6 barbers/stylists, and they all do a great job. You have a lot of options to choose from - haircut or haircut and shave etc. and you never feel rushed or forced to buy their products/merchandise. No stress, high quality shop. They have a sitting area to wait your turn and on the weekends you can expect to wait a few minutes (remember you don't want to feel rushed so be courteous to the people before you). Coffee, water and beer is provided to keep you occupied... One shout out to Brandon M - he always makes sure my cut is perfect even though I may want it a certain way - so that it grows back in shape and I don't have all these random strands all over the place. You can trust the guys here to do a fantastic job!

First, when you walk in the place is clean. It has a dope aesthetic and the guys there are always smiling, down to earth, and easy to work with as a customer. The music is never overbearing and after conversation you'll see they are genuinely great people. Awesome vibe, awesome service. Shoutout to Bon, he's got one of the best fades in the game!

The Commodore has done it again with their second location in the Atlanta area! The first location in the Chamblee area is beautiful and completely customized inside with incredible decor, but this Westside location is the crème de la crème! Located in the Westside Provisions District, the Commodore Westside has reserved the best possible location to expand their intense vision! West Midtown is booming with growth and is the hippest district in the Metro Atlanta area. Restaurants, bars, night and day life is bustling! Westside Provisions is the most walkable area of Atlanta and not just a place to go get your haircut. There is plenty of free parking on the property with 24 hour security. Before you walk in the door of the shop you can immediately see the attention to detail. As you walk through the breezeway there is a video playing on loop on the interior wall showcasing the Commodore's talented haircuts, beard trims and styling from their professional barbers/hair stylists. Their logo is gilded with copper leaf on the front windows and you see above the front door a custom neon sign. Inside is vibrant with clean lines and meticulous detail with the blueprint of this artwork that emerged from a building structure. Custom wood benches, tables and shelves; euro style expresso machine, free craft beer refrigerator; basketball hoops in the back; sonos stereo moving the energy of the stylists inside; soapstone and maple barber work stations, etc... I just can't say enough to encapsulate the design of this place. Now the most important question: are the haircuts consistent with the shop's aesthetic? I've traveled all over the world and I can promise you that you've never been to a classic men's barbershop like this. I've been getting my hair cut at the Chamblee location since day one and it is incredible seeing the owner's passion unfold into this masterpiece from conception to fruition. Every barber on their team takes pride in elevating their craft to the highest level. I pray much success for generations to come for the Commodore!

Best place in ATL to get a haircut! It may be $40+ but it is well worth it with each barber being fantastic. Zach Wright always does an amazing job and does his best to cater to what you want!

Best in Atlanta! Little more expensive than a typical barbershop but 110% worth it. Brandon Kim is next level!

I used to go from barbershop to barbershop until my friend recommended I try Brandon Herrera at The Commodore.

He asked for a blonde buzz cut, which online "starts at $150," I would personally assume it would be around $150 because dying a buzz cut shouldn't require that many products or time. First, he put the bleach on his long, very curly hair, which caused it to be patchy at best. He then gave very specific instructions for his haircut of "2 on the side and 5 on top." He left the salon with an uneven haircut, and patchy/uneven blonde going all around his head. I really can't believe they allowed him to leave like that. In addition, he paid $205, for a second bleaching service that he didn't get to get to his desired blonde, because he didn't have the materials and his color specialist wasn't in. When these issues were brought up, they offered to fix it, but at this point he, nor did I, trust them to fix anything. He ended up offering a refund for ... the service he was charged for and didn't receive. Since then, he has gotten no response. I'm posting this because it was something he was excited to do and a luxury for a man to go get their hair dyed in a salon, but he ended up spending more than he'd wished with a haircut and dye job that he had to get fixed elsewhere, which obviously cost more money. Not only do I think he deserves the refund for the service not recieved, because why was he charged in the first place, but a refund for everything, because letting someone leave with a clearly uneven job on all accounts is sloppy and unprofessional.

They should really work on this because it's a great way to lose business. Anyway, decided to keep the appointment, which I got for someone as a birthday gift. Walked in and the young lady at the front desk was warm, friendly, and lovely, so that made up for whoever answered the phone. The person I got the gift for loved it. The place is very masculine and for newcomers they offered complimentary drinks with lovely ice cubes. It is quite expensive, but it's a luxury service so I understand the pricing. Definitely makes a great gift.

The staff was excellent and very professional the barber area was nice and well lit. The best spot within the location was the manicure and pedicure room. Spacious, with TV's over heard showing sports and financial news, which you could change. If you are a man that takes your beard, skin, feet and hand care seriously. This is a must to check out. A couple of notes, I would love if they upgraded to massage chairs, that extend and recline, and added a masseuse.
